Hi, does the theme support front end article or post submission? If not, is there any plugins that allow a user to submit an article/post from the front end to be moderated first that work with this theme? Ideally a solution where a registered user of the platform can have the status or ability to be a content contributor to the site.

Hi there, we purchased Socialize quite some time ago but haven’t used it. Looks like some great updates so we are hoping to implement it again. We are doing some testing and obviously will purchase support if we move forward with it. In our testing, if we edit a forum Category or add a new one it doesn’t display as it should – I’ve attached a screen shot at https://prnt.sc/sk2mhl Is this a bug or something else that needs to be done to resolve?

PPQ before buying new license: Do you also offer social login? AKA login with Facebook? + Have you tested with addiotional “by user” log-ins” plug-ins? E.g. membership polls, membership groups etc.?

The theme works with the WordPress Social Login and Super Socializer plugins which allow Facebook login.
The theme has not been tested with any membership poll plugins. Groups are a part of the BuddyPress plugin, which has been tested with the theme.

I have some presale questions. It is very important for me to know all the answers since I am doing research if this what I need is possible to implement. I want to create website using BuddyPress. I need to know if the following options are possbible.
1. Can I have at leaset 20 000 profiles of users, and up to 50 000 profiles of potential users?
2. Can users create their own profile by themselves? And when they creat profile admin of website just verifies and approves this newly created profiles? So I do not want that admin of website creates profiles of user, but users on their own should create profiles
3. Can users when creating a profile choose category of work they are involved in, also I need them to choose location, and I need to have filters for this locations and categories on website (for an example location is one city and when someone sets filters by this city I need to have just results for this city to be visible). Is this possible?
4. Can users add profile photos on their profile, and can they add description of their business activity on their profile, can they add contact info, and in general info about their company? I need to have option that they can add all of this data by themselves when creating their profile
5. Can website admin limit the number of photos the user uploads to his profile and the number of characters for the text he enters?
6. Can registered and logged or signed in users excange messages with each other? Is there an inbox option if one registered user want to write message to another user?
7. Can website admin send message to any registered user? Can website admin send one message to one registered user, and can website admin send the same message to all of the registered users, for an example if privacy policy is changed and I need to send the same notice to all of the users I do not want to send it 20 000, like to put them all in cc? Is this possible?
8. Is there a chat option? Like is there a chat between website admin and users? If some user has some question and he can not wait answer to some message and he needs right info as soon as possible, he will need to have chat with site admin?
9. Is it possible to have some analytics data from website? Like, possibility to have a preview of number of users by some category of bussines activity and simmilar)?
10. Can users edit ther profiles after signig up or registrating? Like, maybe they change their address, change some contact info, or add some photos?

All of these questions refer tot he BuddyPress plugin and not the theme itself, but I’ll answer best I can.
1) The theme will have no issue with this, this will be dependant on WordPress and your server specs.
2) Users can register and create profiles using BuddyPress plugin. You will need to install an additional plugin to approve users.
3) BuddyPress allows you to create profile fields for users to select from, so yes. You can also use the BP Profile Search plugin to search for users based on specific profile fields.
4) You’ll need to use a plugin like rtMedia so a user can upload images to their profile. And if you create the profile fields e.g. business description they can fill them in.
5) You’ll need to check the rtMedia plugin for photo limits. BuddyPress does not limit text entered.
6) BuddyPress allows private messaging.
7) Yes you can send out a global message.
8 ) You’ll need to use a chat plugin.
9) The theme does not have these options.
10) Yes.

Unfortunately I have no way around this. I cannot set a different price for support. This is worked out as a percentage of the total sale price. Updates and bug fix support are still free and do not require an active support license.
along with this theme i also have aarvark – so i can ask for support even without an active support license?
You cannot ask for support with a license, meaning help using the theme. But you can report theme bug and I can discuss these with you for free.

1) You do not have the Socialize theme activated.
2) The link you have given me does not work it goes to a 404 page.
3) You images need to be hosted on the same server as the website itself.

1) The Media tab in Aardvark is added by the rtMedia plugin, you can use this with the Socialize theme to add this also.
2) There are no options to change the members page format unfortunately.

Login issue with Facebook! It only reports “Invalid Scopes: user_friends.” And nothing we’ve tried can fix it.

Socialize is just a BuddyPress/community theme. Aardvark is this and much more – all of its features are listed on the item page so you can easily compare them. Aardvark is updated much more regularly, as it explains at the top of the Socialize page:
“This theme is priced much higher than the average theme to reduce the number of new customers and cover the costs of continuing development for existing customers. Unfortunately Envato does not offer the ability to charge for updates or for a subscription to the theme, which would be better ways of charging customers for continued development. If you feel this price is too high for you I suggest looking for another theme such as my best seller Aardvark for only $55.”

Is it possible for each member to select the books they are reading, that they have already read and would like to read? (books should have a link for more information) Where the administrator creates the lists and the members just select.
And if possible a place to indicate books for the lists.

You can create custom profile fields with BuddyPress, including fields with a list of values such as books. BuddyPress is a free plugin that can be used with any theme, so I recommend testing this out on the Twenty Twenty theme first to see if it has the functionality you need.

How to appear login and registration on the right side of the search? When importing from the demo, the menu did not come activated. After activating the menu I do not see the login and registration and if you try to create according to your manual creates a normal menu to the left of the search.

This is a WordPress theme, it does not come with HTML files. The demo is entirely optional, if you choose to import it, it just imports the pages and posts seen in the demo.
