thanks for your outstanding support!!!!! best in the business.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback!

Hi. Is it possible to integrate Aweber sign up forms into this theme?

Mailchimp is too expensive. Would you consider adding. aweber functionality. in the future?

Also is it possible to use text logo or do you need to upload image logo?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, you can use text logo. Image logo is not required.

About Aweber: We will record all feature requests from pre-sales questions and customer feedback, and consider adding some new features in this “Feature Request List” in future updates. The priority of adding features depends on the number of same or similar requests we receive. So far, we have not received a similar feature request, so we currently have no plans to support Aweber. Thanks for your advice.

Hi, when I import DEMO shows me this error message: Error: error (500)

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

After clicking on import demo button, if you see this error message: “Error: Internal Server Error (500)”, this usually indicates a poor server configuration, usually on a cheap shared hosting (low values for PHP settings, missing PHP modules, and so on). Please contact your hosting support and ask them to update some PHP settings for your site.

For more details, please check the following documentation:

1. One Click Demo Import – Server Error 500.

2. Minimal PHP Requirements.

Thank you very much.

Hello. We bought the Fallsky – Lifestyle Magazine Theme with Shop so the question is if we could change for another theme Sitka – Modern WordPress Blog Theme (https://themeforest.net/item/sitka-modern-wordpress-blog-theme/24849892?fbclid=IwAR29_M8urMNCmHa-N39zb2g4cG9SvcyvD2FpuqwmYcdqcR5GHGnRU-0g9UQ) wich is at the same price? Thank you, Best Regards!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. Please see below:

1. We are the author team of the Fallsky theme. The other theme you mentioned was created and sold by another author on this platform (Envato Market).

2. The platform does not support changing products, whether the price is the same, or products from the same or different authors.

3. We are just one of many authors on this platform. Each author can only sell their own products and provide support services for their own products. We do not have permission to perform any operations on products of other authors.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Hello, I have a display problem on the homepage when I click Load More to show other articles, practically clicking the Load More button duplicates the last 3 articles, I attach screenshots to better understand. Before the click: https://www.angelichic.com/download/duplicate_posts_home_load_more_1.png After the click: https://www.angelichic.com/download/duplicate_posts_home_load_more_2.png Home page: https://www.angelichic.com/ Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

Hello Angelica,

Thank you for contacting us.

Since we haven’t received any similar problem reports, to find the exact cause of the problem, could you please provide the following information so that we can look into the problem for you?

1. Please create a staging site of your live site. A staging site is an exact copy of your entire live website, so the problems that occur on the live site will also occur on the staging site. We recommend creating a staging site for debugging, because it does not affect your live site during debugging and makes it easier for us to narrow down the cause of the problem (since we may need to deactivate some plugins, or change some plugin/theme settings or code).

2. Then please create a temporary admin account of this staging site and let us log into this staging site, so that we can check the problem and debug on the staging site, without affecting your live site.

3. Please email your staging site URL and the temporary login credentials to general@loftocean.com .

You can use this free plugin to create a staging site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/ .

And you can use this plugin to create a Temporary Login Without Password: https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/ .

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.

Is it compatible with WP-recipe maker and easy to change colors and fonts?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our theme.

Yes, we just tested, Fallsky theme is compatible with WP Recipe Maker.

It is easy to change colors and fonts of the theme. You may like to read our documentation for more details:

- Fallsky Theme Options: Typography.

- Fallsky – How to change site colors.

To change the colors and fonts of recipes, you will need change these settings via WP Recipe Maker’s Template Editor. For example, this is the documentation of WP Recipe Maker: Changing template fonts.

Hi!

Since some month ago the settings for all my pictures in my blogposts has changed from always being “full size” to getting the setting “thumbnail” or sometimes “large size”. The setting has automatically changed in old blogposts too. Is there a bug I should know about? I have updated the theme and all my plugins to latest version but still got the same problem. I also asked a developer for help but he couldn’t find anything and think it might be a bug with the theme.

/Sofia

Hi Sofia,

Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry but we don’t quite understand the problems you mentioned. Could you please provide more details so that we could better understand your question?

1. “all my pictures in my blogposts” – Are you referring to the post featured image displayed in the post header section? Or, are you referring to the images in the post content?

2. Could you please take a screenshot of a page where the problem occurs (and highlight the problems), and then send us the screenshot?

3. Please also send us the URL of this page so we can take a look at the problem and check from the front end of your website.

4. Please email these information to general@loftocean.com .

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.

Hi there, I’m having difficulty changing the google meta description for my website (planet-awareness.com). I’ve changed the tagline on Yoast SEO and changed the default tagline on wordpress settings, but the meta description is still using the one from the Fallsky demo.

May I know how to change the meta description?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

We just checked your website and found that the meta description has been updated successfully. Please check this screenshot: https://d.pr/free/i/H7lke7 .

If you still see the meta description from the Fallsky demo, please try clearing your server cache, website cache & browser cache, and then check again.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Hi,

Thank you for providing the screenshot.

Just checked again and found that this is due to the outdated Google cache.

To check what Google has cached for your site, in Google Search field, please type “cache:” followed immediately by the URL of your site (as shown in this screenshot: https://d.pr/free/i/uPfIAO ).

We found that the cached version is still the demo version, as shown in this screenshot: https://d.pr/free/i/GvVqmF .

You will have to wait for Google to crawl your site again. Or, you can try to speed up this process, please check this article for more details: Google Shows The Wrong Meta Description For My Site: Google Cache is Outdated. Thanks!

Hi, I have a question concerning the image-preload-feature. The images in your demo are first displayed in a diffuse mode, then the image disappears for a little moment and finally is displayed in full resolution. Is it possible to disable this feature, ´cause the disappearence takes effect like a little flash… Best regards, Basti

Hi Basti,

Thank you for your interest in our theme!

Sorry, there is no option to disable this feature. But, you can choose to use Fallsky child theme so that we can provide a short paragraph code to disable this feature. Please feel free to contact us if you need the code. :)

Thank you very much.

Hi, I have updated the theme to the latest version because I had the instragram feed problem, but now it has reset all the design, is there a way to recover it all? Calculating that I use the child theme as an active theme. Thanks for your attention

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

Normally, the design settings (customizer settings) will not be reset when the theme is updated (and this theme does not provide the feature to reset design settings). We haven’t received any similar issue reports so far.

Did you switch from the parent theme to the child theme after updating the theme? Or vice versa? This is the only situation where customizer settings may be lost, because based on WordPress logic, the parent theme and the child theme are 2 different themes, the customizer settings cannot be inherited automatically.

You may like to check this how-to article to find more information: Having some problems after updating the theme?

Thank you very much.

Hi, I see in your demo content the menu called FEATURES, and various sub menus inside. I likely to know how i can import all these pages and posts to use the layout and content for my website. Thx

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

However, this is not something that can be done by simply exporting and importing content.

Please see this screenshot: https://d.pr/free/i/KegYto . Many of the pages under the “Features” item are created using URL parameters.

For example, these “Posts Layout” pages are actually the same page: “Posts Layout”, which is the “Blog” page on the demo site. They have exactly the same content: the list of the latest posts. Then we use URL parameters to change the layout to show the different styles the “Blog” page can have.

Using the URL parameter to change the layout of the same page is done through a plugin we created. This plugin is only used to display the features included in Fallsky theme. This plugin is not available to end users. Because on a real blog/magazine website, the site owner does not need to repeatedly display the same page.

Therefore, this plugin is not included in the theme. And due to our internal policies, this plugin is not available for downloading.

-

In fact, you can manually create a similar mega menu for your client’s website. This is easy to do, just take some time to set up these pages/posts. Here are some simple guidelines:

1). For “Posts Layout” :

You can use “Category Archive” for displaying different layouts of the post list.

First, you can create multiple categories and make sure there are some posts in each category. Then choose “Masonry 3 Columns” for “Category A”, “Grid 2 Columns” for “Category B”, “Overlay Mix 1+2” for “Category C”... And then add these categories to the mega menu.

You may like to read the documentation to know how to set up Individual Category Page Layout.

2). For “Post Template” :

You can choose “Post Template 1” for your single post “Post A”,”Post Template 2” for your single post “Post B”, “Post Template 3” for your single post “Post C”... And then add these posts to the mega menu.

You may like to read the documentation: Specific Single Post Options.

Once you have added these categories and single posts to the mega menu, you can change the “Navigation Label” for each menu item. For example, if the single post title is “This is my first single post” and the post template you chose is “Post Template 7”, you can change its “Navigation Label” to “Post Template 7”. Please refer to this screenshot: https://d.pr/free/i/sNyrm6 .

You may like to read the documentation: Mega Menu.

-

Other menu items can be created in a similar way.

“Post without Sidebar” – Set the “Sidebar Layout” to “No Sidebar” for a single post, and add this post to the mega menu and change its “Navigation Label” to “Post without Sidebar”.

“Audio Format” – Set the post format of a single post to “Audio” and add an audio file, then add this post to the mega menu and change its “Navigation Label” to “Audio Format”.

And so on.

-

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

I really, need a way to use the itens above features, like in the demo. The theme has buyed because we need to use this pages. To make one by one is more complicated. Need a way to use this theme, like indicated in the demo version.

Hi,

As we explained in our previous response, what you are requesting is not the content/support contained in the product.

Please check the “Envato / ThemeForest Item Support Policy” to find out which are your rights and which are beyond the scope of support: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy .

What is included in the support:

- Answering questions about how to use the item

- Answering technical questions about the item (and included third party assets)

- Help with defects in the item or included third party assets

- Item updates to ensure ongoing compatibility and to resolve security vulnerabilities

All the features mentioned in the product description and displayed in the demo site are already included in the Fallsky theme. If your client doesn’t know how to use some features in the theme, please check the theme documentation. We also provide the “One Click Demo Import” feature so users can import a demo to start creating their own blog/magazine website easily. However, importing demo data does not mean cloning the demo site. Because, as we said, real blog/magazine sites don’t need this.

In accordance with the Envato Support Policy, we will provide support to help users use the theme, but we do not provide support for creating content on users’ sites, including but not limited to:

 - Write articles for the user’s website.

 - Create menus and add menu items to the menu to meet user requirements.

 - Select post template for different posts on the user’s website according to the user’s specific requirements.

 - Provide the user with the same image used in the demo site.

All of the above are beyond the support policy.

To satisfy your client’s specific requirements (create the same “Features” mega menu on your client’s website), we have already provided a detailed guide. As a developer, you are responsible for creating menus for your clients based on their needs. Just as writing articles for a website is the responsibility of the website’s editors/authors.

Hi!

I love the theme, however we have 2 small issues.

We want to make some changes to the theme so after a few weeks I just installed the child theme. However when the child theme is activated all my customizer settings from the main Fallsky Theme are gone. As a result the lay out is completely different. Is there a way to simply copy the settings from the main theme to the child theme?

We are also trying to use the sub menu with the big images. However any new categories I create do not show up in the ‘Fullwidth Featured Area’ under ‘Choose categories’ in the customizer. Can you tell me how I can fix that?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us, and we are glad to hear that you love the theme :) . Please see below:

1. Customizer settings

You can use this plugin “Customizer Export/Import” ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/customizer-export-import/ ) to export the customizer settings of the parent theme, and then import the data to the child theme.

Step 1 – Please activate Fallsky parent theme. Then install and activate the plugin “Customizer Export/Import”.

Step 2 – Open the customizer, you will find a new section “Export/Import” in the customizer. Click the “Export” button to export the customizer settings of the Fallsky parent theme. You will get a file called “fallsky-export.dat”.

Step 3 – Switch to the child theme, then open the customizer, go to “Export/Import” section, and then import the “fallsky-export.dat” file.

2. Sorry, we don’t quite understand your second question. Do you mean: you have created some new categories, but these new categories do not show up in the customizer > “Home Page” > “Fullwidth Featured Area” > “Pick Posts” > “Choose Categories” box?

If so, could you please make sure you have followed the steps below:

Step 1 – Please make sure your customizer is closed. Then create a new category, save it.

Step 2 – Open the customizer and check if the new category shows up in the “Choose Categories” box of “Home Page > Fullwidth Featured Area” section.

If the customizer is already open in another tab while creating a new category in a browser tab, the new category data cannot be sent to the customizer without refreshing the customizer.

If the new category still doesn’t show up, could you please create a temporary admin account and let us log into your website so that we can look into this issue for you? Please email your website URL and the login credentials to general@loftocean.com .

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Thank you! The Child theme works now!

I’m sorry for my bad explanation about the second problem. Our problem is with the Fallsky Category widget. It does not show our categories in the sidebar of our site. It says: “no category selected”. We can’t find the place in the customizer or anywhere else were we can add our categories so they show up in the sidebar.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

To edit the “Fallsky Category” widget in the sidebar, please go to your website admin page > “Appearance” > “Widgets”.

If this widget is in the “Main Sidebar”, please find the widget and click on the small arrow next to the widget title to expand the settings of this widget. Then select some categories from the category list, and click the “Save” button to save the settings. Please check this screenshot as a reference: https://d.pr/free/i/eR63oD .

Please feel free to let us know if this works. Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Hi! I just updated my Fallsky child theme and the whole home page + footer crashed & disappeared? All settings are still the same for the home page (fullwidth feature area enabled and set to show featured posts, and there are featured posts) but nothing is showing. Same with the footer, two widgets has disappeared but there is still one there, not showing on the site?

Please come back to me and let me know what to do, something has clearly happened with the theme update. I can send you my login details if you need to access the backend.

Big thanks in advance & have a nice day!

//Emmi (explorista.se)

Thanks so much, that saved everything! :) Weird though, I didn’t get any notice that the plugin needed an update?

The widgets are back, but the Fallsky Instagram theme that is placed in footer column 1 doesn’t work, it doesn’t show anything? I have deleted the old one, and created a new widget, but it still doesn’t work? Do you know anything about this?

Wish you a nice day!

Hi Emmi,

Thank you for your reply.

About the Instagram issue, could you please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your website, so that we can look into the problem for you? Please email the login credentials to general@loftocean.com .

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.

Hi! I’ve created a user and emailed you the details!

Hi there,

We have an issue with the theme. If you go to the following URL: http://staging.cancerwellness.com/stories/resources/ I have a serious of posts. that are uncategorized. However, they should be displaying the subcategories. When I try to save the Subcategories it automatically goes to Uncategorized. Could it be something within the theme? The reason for asking is that I switched themes and I was able to save the post in the subcategory with no problem.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

We just checked your website and we found that you are using the child theme of Fallsky.

This problem seems to be related to some custom code written in your Fallsky child theme. Please see this screenshot of the URL you mentioned: https://d.pr/free/i/ii7j8w . In this screenshot, we can see that the category items of some posts are different. The category items should be < a > links that can be clicked. But on this page, the category items of some posts are just text, not links. And the fonts of those category items are also different.

It seems that some custom code in your child theme breaks the logic of the WordPress category and also breaks the HTML structure of the Fallsky theme. Please try the following steps:

1. Please switch to the unchanged Fallsky theme (the parent theme) (you can download it from ThemeForest again and reinstall the theme on your website to make sure the theme has not been modified), and check if the issue still exists. If the issue is resolved, then please check your child theme’s code.

2. If the problem still exists when using the unchanged Fallsky theme (the parent theme), please create a temporary admin account and let us log into your website so that we can look into the problem for you. Please send your login credentials to general@loftocean.com .

Thank you very much.

Best regards, The Loft.Ocean Team

Hello, I would like to buy your beautiful theme, but I see that the last update dates back to December 2018… are new updates expected? Unfortunately sometimes I happen to set up a site with a theme that is no longer developed, and it’s a problem… Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you very much for your interest in our theme. :)

We have no plans to abandon any existing products. Usually we collect feedbacks from users for a while and then decide what should be included in an update. If there are any issues due to incompatibility with a new WordPress version, we will update the theme as soon as possible.

The good news is that we are currently working on the next update of the Fallsky theme and will release a new version within a few days. In this update, we’ll add some new features to the Fallsky theme and will include some enhancements to the latest version of WordPress.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Thank you very much!

Hey Guys! Love the design work on your theme. A couple of pre-sale questions…

HOMEPAGE: I read the documentation about your homepage widgets, but I’m still not sure it can do what I need. My current homepage is built in sections that allow me to add sliders, carousels, divider sections, etc. https://exploresaratoga.com/

(1) Can I add the same widget multiple times? For example Posts? (2) I assume the Posts Widget if referring to the various Post Layouts you offer (ie, 3 column grid, 3 column cards, etc). Please confirm. (3) Do you currently have any post carousel features? You post layouts and sliders are beautiful, but I really need a post carousel, preferably more than one style.

CATEGORY PAGES Can I customize Category Pages in the same way I can customize the Homepage, with your widgets or is that only available for the Homepage? I

AMP Have you looked at integrating AMP into your theme? I’m testing another theme now, that has AMP fully integrated which is really attractive.

PAGE BUILDERS Is your theme compatible with Elementor? I’d prefer to avoid a page builder but may need one for some customization, depending on how flexible your theme is. I’d prefer to start using Gutenberg and grow into it as it expands.

Thank you, Jacob

Hi Jacob,

Thank you very much for your interest in our theme. Please see below:

(1) Homepage – Can I add the same widget multiple times?

Yes, each Home Widget can be added to the homepage multiple times. For example, you can have multiple posts sections on the homepage. You may like to check out this demo: http://demo.loftocean.com/fallsky-travel-style-2/

(2) Homepage – Posts Widget

Yes, when adding a posts widget, users can choose a post layout (List, Masonry 2 Columns, Masonry 3 Columns, Grid 2 Columns, Grid 3 Columns, Overlay, etc.), and can also choose different posts to be displayed (latest posts, posts from a category, featured posts, most liked, most viewed, etc.).

(3) Homepage – Do you currently have any post carousel features?

Sorry but currently Fallsky doesn’t have any post carousel. We have added this feature into our “Feature Request List” and will consider adding it to the theme in future updates (priority depends on whether there are other similar feature requests).

(4) Category Pages

Sorry, category pages cannot be customized in the same way as the homepage (because they are “Home Widgets”, so they are only used for the homepage). Currently, users can change the Posts Layout and Sidebar Layout on the category page.

(5) AMP

Yes, we plan to integrate AMP into our theme in future updates.

(6) Page Builders

We have tested Fallsky theme and Elementor, and haven’t found any compatibility issues.

For Gutenberg, the Fallsky theme has been optimized for Gutenberg. You may like to read our documentation for more details.

Hey, Whenever I Import demo, it gives 404 Not Found. First Import gave me the same error, but the homepage looks incomplete. My website is https://bobcapella.com/

Hi,

Thank you very much for your patience. Now the demo data have been imported to your website. Please visit your website to see the results.

The cause of the problem:

In fact, the reason is not clear. We adjusted a few theme code and tried to import the demo multiple times, eventually the demo data was successfully imported and the error message is no longer displayed. However, the code we changed is actually not directly related to the demo import feature.

Then we found another problem on your site: when clicking on the links in the dashboard (backend), sometimes it will jump to the 404 error page in the front-end of the website. We have never seen this situation on any of the user’s sites, so we suspect that there is something wrong with your site. We recommend that you contact your hosting provider support team and ask them to help you check your server and website environment.

Thank you very much.

Thabk you so much for your help. I’ll check and get back to you in case i need any help. Appreciate your quick response and help.
