Hi, I hadn’t posted a news item in several years and finally did today. When doing so, it changed all the post dates to today’s date. So I did a new NEWS page and put in the short code and all the dates are right, but it’s not set as my “posts” page. Just wondering what happened there?
Also, when I set new blog shortcode inserted page to “posts page” in customize setting, it resets all dates to last post date.
Hello
We are not getting updates about messages here in the ThemeForest comments and we rely on providing support via the support forum. I checked our forum and you are a member but your last post under the Eladnitrim forum username was in 2016.
If you are still having issues with this matter we ask you create a thread at our support forum and we will assist you.
As well we posted a fix for this in our Support Forum on March 10. There is an error in the loop.php and we provide a solution for you to upload into your site. Of course the corrected file will also be in the next release Ver 1.3.0.2 which will be available by way of the theme built-in update function.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I see a post on the forum from “hidde” about the matter and wondering if that is a new username you used at the forum?

Thanks James – good to hear from you. I am not “hidde” FYI that must be someone else. I will explore the FTP option, THX! Stay well.
Hello, We would like to buy your design for https://www.mekjoy.com/seo . Do you help with integration?
Hi
We apologize for the delay in responding. For some reason we did not get any notification of your question here from Envato.
Your looking to replace the existing site? That looks like a whmcs theme in place currently.
I think I would be more inclined to use a different theme of ours that allows for fluid width. Striking MultiFlex is a fixed width theme and probably not suitable unless you also used a visual editor such as Elementor.

Does this Theme support PHP 7.4?
Hi
We apologize for the delay in responding. Striking MultiFlex is fully php 7.4 compatible.
Just a heads up that should you have questions in the future you will get a same day response on our support forum. For some reason we did not get any notification of your question here from Envato. We don’t monitor these comments to the same extent that we monitor our support forum.

Hi, I have 2 licensed copies of Striking. On the older one I inherited it looks like Wordfence blocked the theme operation “enable default lightbox for all images sitewide” I thought it was enabled and noticed it was not. When I went to turn it back on, Wordfence stopped the operation saying, “a potentially unsafe operation has been requested (etc.) ...” I have never seen that in any of my sites, all have WordFence.
I can check to whitelist the operation if I’m “sure” this is a legitimate request, but not sure if this is indicative of something you know of? Or is it probably OK to go ahead. The site has always been updated and is on update before last.
Hello
This is a mystery to us. We can think of no reason why Wordfence would block the internal operation of lightbox especially from the theme core. IF your websites are up to date for the theme and plugins then our opinion is that it would be ok to whitelist.

OK, THX for the quick response!
I’m trying to help a client update their site, which includes a VERY old version of Striking Theme (5.1.2) They don’t have any information about license, etc. so we will likely be re-purchasing the theme. My question is if I purchase Striking Multiflext for them, can you give me access to old Striking v 5.3.7.5 so I can manage the transition properly? Or is that not available? Better way?
Hi Randy
Sorry we missed your message. We have been focused on updates of our themes this week for the impending WP 5.4 release, plus of course some things are happening in the world currently!
Can you please send us an email to support@thethemebuilders.com with some information on how to contact you.

Hello,
My name is Sajjad from RTL-Maker . net
Are you have some themes or plugins that have no RTL support yet?!
But you have some customers that have RTL language (like: Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, …) and need RTL support for using your themes or plugins.
We have a service for adding full RTL support to your themes or plugins. Just look at our website at rtl-maker . net
Best Regards - Sajjad
Hi Sajjad
FYI, we are one of the very first themebuilders ever to have our themes certified RTL at Envato and have been RTL for almost 10 yrs.. We are also a wpml approved theme:
https://wpml.org/theme/striking-multiflex-ecommerce-responsive-wordpress-theme/We have assisted other theme and plugin developers with their rtl coding as well.
Sorry my friend but your barking up the wrong tree here.

Hi, Is your theme using elementor page builder or wpbakery page builder. In Compatible with section it shows both elementor and ‘wpbakery page builder 5.7.x’. As far as I understand there could be only one at a time. Can you please clarify. Thanks
Hello
Thank you for your inquiry. We are definitely elementor compatible as we have another theme (not sold at ThemeForest) which has Elementor integrated, and we some of our initial testing using Striking. There may or may not be some minor adjustments necessary in the latest Striking for the latest Elementor build – our last test with Striking was about 1 month ago.
As for WP Bakery, we know of Striking sites which are using it for page building and we don’t have any feedback that they are not working together.
I think were I building a website I would be more inclined to use Elementor vs the visual composer.
We have another theme that has Elementor, two other Elementor premium plugins, Essential Grid, and the Rev Slider built into it. Striking users can upgrade to it (there is a cost) but its a seamless transition (meaning they don’t lose any of their content) even though they are different themes.
Striking is coded so that it works with pretty much all plugins in existences. Its one of the mainstays of the theme – it plays very well with plugins. We used to run a demo with more then one ecommerce plugin loaded and working simultaneously (3 diff ecommerce plugins), just so users could see the flexibility of the theme.

The best ever theme on market! You guys rock. keep up good work.
Thank you for your kind words.
I want to set up 20-25 multisites to show our branches under a single domain. Can I achieve this with your theme? When I tried other themes it was very deliberate and inflated hosting.
Hi KalbAlAkrab
Yes you can. Striking MultiFlex supports both subdomain multisite (e.g.- sub.yoursite.com) and path based multisite (eg. – yoursite.com/sub/). Actually we were one of the very first multisite capable themes in the marketplace when we first launched Striking.
I am not certain what you mean by “very deliberate and inflated hosting). Running multisite is more demanding of a hosting environment. One will not have the same success running a multisite in a low resource environment as one would a single site instance. There are hosts that do not support wordpress multisite. Every additional site you scale is going to have some incremental draw on your host.
We own our own hosting company so we have a “bit” of knowledge on this topic…
Our own demo content is running on a multisite, the woo demo content is a separate subsite (path based) versus the main site. We have several sites in that particular multisite although not all are publicly accessible.

Questions before buying: 1. Can the theme use the video embed code from https://www.jwplayer.com/? 2. Can the theme use videos saved on my server? 3. Can I use this topic in the main domain (domain.com) and subdomain (sub.domain.com)?
HI Che
1. Regretfully we do not know the answer about jwplayer. WP video embed shortcodes of course work in the theme.
2. Of course you can use videos you save into your hosting container. You can upload videos via the media library, or upload them via ftp, and then call the url.
Striking has its own html5 video shortcode for this very purpose.
3. If you are running a multsite where the subdomain is a sub of the main domain then only one theme license is needed. If you are mapping external domains as sub domains then you need a license for each subdomain. I suspect you are doing the former, not the latter.
Please note licensing is not determined by us. It is determined solely by ThemeForest/Envato. They have help documents on licensing which you might find it handy to reference and if you have further licensing questions you should direct them to Envato. Authors have no input or control at all about licensing.
Thank you for your interest in Striking MultiFlex.

Pre-sale question.
hey! love this theme!
our cleint is running this theme from back in 2015! We note their install shows “Version: 5.1.9.6”
If we purchase a new copy, is it possible to instant update and the theme settings are preserved?
Or will it wipe out and we need to start again?
thanks!
Hi Benjamin
Your client does not need to purchase again unless he has lost his license info in which case regretfully he would have to do so.
Your client is running what we now call “Striking Original” which was the non-responsive version of Striking released all the way back in 2010. Furthermore he is well behind on even its updates. Although Striking Original is deprecated (aka no longer available for sale) we still have been supporting it for updates using the theme internal update function (Advanced Settings Panel of the Striking Menu).
The current release is Ver 5.3.7.9 whereas your customer has a version released in Jan 2013! OMG LOL.
We first need to know if your client has a valid license and is able to use the update function in his website at this time. Then we can give you the correct instructions.
I should add that we offer an updating service for a reasonable price. The outcome is guaranteed and we would bring your customer right up to the latest Striking MultiFlex version. Let me know if you are interested.

haha wow yes this is quite some time ago! Its really stood the test of time, which is a testament to the quality of the theme.
Hmm… I have entered our purchase code to that backend area and hit “check for update” and it shows ‘you are on latest version’ so it seems we cannot update via that backend automatically unfortunately.
Keen to hear about the update service, but fully depending on cost.

As well as the manually method too
Hi Benjamin
The code would fail if it is already in use elsewhere. Or it could be that for some reason the connection to the api server is blocked. That version is so old I honestly don’t remember anymore if something is changed in the theme code although I think not.
May I suggest you send us an email: support @ thethemebuilders.com
(without the spaces)
and provide the license code, the url, and the wp logins as well. I will attempt to assess the state of matters and reply with a quote.
Normally updating is about $125 and we guarantee the outcome. We have to log into the site and confirm the environment in order to firm the price. We own a hosting company as well as being software and theme developers and whatever the issue we can get to the bottom of it.

Dear kaptinlin, I have bought your theme, I am a Chinese,my english name is Leon, I want to set the panel language of your theme to Chinese, try to use Poedit edit in the path “wp-content/themes/striking_r/languages” zh_cn.po file, but it’s not uesful , can you tell me how to change panel language about theme Or how to download the Chinese language pack. This is my email:41682323@qq.com, waiting for you reply.thanks.
Hello Leon:
We do not have an actual Chinese translation of the theme admin panels – they are translation ready but not actually translated.
The path to the master containing all the admin strings is found in the following location:
‘striking_r/framework/admin/languages/striking-r_admin.pot”
and you would open that with poedit using the “Create a new translation” option.
The front end strings are translated although for chinese looking at the file I see a few front end strings are missing the corresponding Chinese translation – perhaps about 10% of them are not done and they are the less commonly seen strings such as “Author Archive for: ’%s’” . I think it would take you only a few minutes to fill in the missing Chinese strings.
The front end strings are found in:
“striking_r/languages”
I hope this answered your question and if you have any more questions I request you go to the support forum (link below) and open a new thread. Our support team member who is our in house translation expert can answer questions on the forum, but not here.
I will email you as well with this info.

Hi, Is the theme compatible with wordpress 5.0 ? Thanks
Hi
We were going to say “of course” as our changelog for our last update indicates we are compatible, but then we realized we did not change the settings here ThemeForest when our last update was approved to show that we are compatible. We bad!
We made the adjustment. In fact we have been following WP 5.0 since its inception in its earliest beta and have filed several bug reports with WP over that period of time due to its many issues.
But we should note we have not mapped our shortcodes to Gutenberg nor do we have any intention of doing such. You can of course have Gutenberg active and use it flawlessly within its own abilities but we will not be mapping our shortcodes to Gutenberg to it as we feel every single wysiwyg editor is 100x better then it.
A nice feature of our theme is that should you decide to use Gutenberg or the classic editor you can switch between them flawlessly, and you do not need to install the “classic editor” plugin – the classic editor is always available due to how we coded the theme. So even if you are using Gutenberg, you simply have to toggle the classic editor (which you do while editing) to access our shortcodes. Its quite seamless.

Indeed, that’s what made me doubt. I then saw that you had integrated the Gutenberg case into your theme. Thank you for your detailed feedback, I hope you will continue for a long time to update this theme.
I take this opportunity to ask you if you plan to integrate a cookie management banner so that visitors can choose which cookies they accept or refuse to install?
Thank you, Best regards
Hi:
For our contact form we have a gdpr consent built into it. Otherwise we do not have any plans for say a cookie banner at this time. You can operate a website without cookies and if choosing to do otherwise there are excellent free lightweight plugins for cookies and we do not feel we need to duplicate their efforts.
We have been supporting Striking for 9 yrs now. I think perhaps longer now then any other theme in the marketplace. In our last check about 2 yrs ago only about half a dozen themes from the time we started Striking in the marketplace (Sept 2010) were still supported. We suspect it is even less now.

Hello I bought this theme 2 years ago How could I upgrade it to version 1.2.9.6 RELEASED? For download from account available version of themeforest-1.2.8.7.63-striking-multiple Thank you
Hi Anmax:
Just go to the Advanced Panel Settings -> Update Tab. Enter your lic code into the license field and save. Then click on the check for updates button (which may already be telling you of the update). Once you see a notification for an update then click on the button to upgrade to Ver 1.2.9.6.
We do recommend if you are 2 yrs behind that you make a full backup of your site. Perhaps you should also export any Revolution Sliders (as you are far behind on it as well) and I also suggest you export your widget settings. Thus if you update and most everything goes well, but your Revolution slidershow is not correct, or you lose your widgets (as WP has made changes to the Widget functions) you can easily import them again without having to reinstall the full backup.
We offer a paid update service which is 100% guaranteed if you wish our help.

Hello.
This is the theme support team. Can you please register at our support forum (it only requires you to use your envato id, email and your theme license# – nothing else) and ask your questions about this on the forum. We do not provide support via the ThemeForest comments – it is cumbersome, does not allow for attaching images or files, and editing ability is extremely limited.
Thank you.

Hi there,
When I test our web page speed, the following link takes up quite a bit of load time and results in a 404:
http://www.amherstburg-cs.com/!hosted/amherstburg-cs.com/wp-content/themes/striking_r/images/loading_big.gifHow can I get rid of this file/stop it from being requested when loading my home page.
Thanks so much!
Hello
We ask that you please create a thread on our support forum with your request if you need assistance on this matter. But we can advise that when this type of issue occurs you should examine your hosting environment, and any minification you are undertaking by way of a plugin or the host. Most likely something is blocking the gif from loading as under normal circumstances it loads just fine.
As an aside, you do not show a purchase badge nor that you have paid for support. We respectfully request you legalize the status of your license and bring yourself up-to-date in your support, which you can do from your envato dashboard.
Best Regards
