Hi there, please, tell how to add alt=”texts” tags to all images on listing pages (cards)? Cheers. I tried many plugins and nothing works. Simply tell here for everybody because alt=”texts” tags don’t appear on every listing pages/cards. Only empty alt=”” tags, but in media library all images are with alt=”filled text” tags.

I am wanting a simple layout without a map. The businesses would be in a layout similar to a standard blog, image, name and description.

Yes it would be possible to have the listings on categories rendered without a map. The listings would be rendered in the current card latyout, but there will be no map rendered on the category page.

When we create a listing and upload a cover image and gallery images nothing shows on the front end. It shows the images on the edit listing page but when you visit the listing its just blank.

HI, I’ve Listify Map and Contacts in the side are, but is there any reason because it always goes on first position? It doesn’t matter if I move down and not only, on mobile it goes the listing widget area too. I tried deleting, moving, closing, pc… nothing

Your theme (Listify) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

Yes this would be possible but that would mean that you would need to fill this data within the listings and for this, you would need to customize the submission form and also create some custom search filters. For these implementations, you would need to separately purchase both the Wp Job Manager Field Editor plugin and Facet Wp.

In relation to your question here, you can use we recommend using Polylang. Translations can however only be carried out by the admin. Listing owners are only in a position to submit listings in their preferred site language.

I am experiencing the same issue as @LogicStew posted here on/around 15 April 2020.
After updating to version 2.13.0, the Listing: Map & Contact Details widget, which is part of the Single Listing – Main Content widget area, appears in the sidebar on desktop views. It’s appearing in the correct location on mobile.
This widget was updated in the latest release – “Listing: Map & Contact Details Mobile device enhancement.” in the Changelog.
Is there a resolution to this issue?

The map and contact widget should be added to the single listing sidebar not on the main content. You should add the widget to the listing sidebar. This has always been the case. What we did in the last update was to have the widget rendered at the top in mobile devices, based on feature requests by other users.

Hmmm I have been using Listify since 2016 and have used the Listing: Map & Contact Details in the Main Content widget area since launching the site. Forcing the widget into the sidebar area is not how the site has behaved previously?

An error with the Listify – Listing: Author widget has now also become apparent. The widget is throwing code when clicking the contact link button rather than raising an email?

The thing is I haven’t changed my contact set-up in any way? This function is not working any longer. This is alongside the above mentioned widget positioning issues that surfaced after the most recent Listify update. Acknowledged by the Listify team as an issue/error that needs to be addressed/resolved.

In relation to your question here, if your current site is not using Wp job Manager plugin for listings then it a switch to our theme would definitely affect the links. The theme however provides an option to alter the “Listing” slug to for example “car”.

I would like a private message plugin that works with shortcodes. I noticed that your private message plugin looks pretty good but was wondering if the astoundify private message plugin is independant (e.g. just a wordpress plugin) or does it require Listify to be installed to work?
More specifically, if I wanted to add it to my site, can I just install the plugin and use the shortcodes to get private messaging functionality without listify.

In relation to your question here, yes the plugin is independent. However, we recommend using the Private Messages plugin specifically with Listify. We’ve only tested for full compatibility of the plugin with the theme. We are not in a position to provide a guarantee that the plugin would work with a different theme. You can try it out, but at your own discretion.
