Hi I bought this i have a issue with the comment section that i want to delete from the homepage. If i raise a ticket it says the purchase code is invalid verry frustating this

Wordpress 5.5 broke the North admin panel dashboard… Seems to be some functions have been depreciated like .live and the $.browser.msie in the North theme settings. Please advise ASAP. Just bought this and it is un-usable at this time.

Do you have an HTML version of this theme?

Never-mind. I have found it and purchased it. I do wish it came with the shop layout that the Wordpress version has but at least I can work with the HTML version. This Wordpress version is too inflexible.

Well, we have a full license for Essential Grid purchased and I can see they did not release any new version. As soon as an official version is released, we will definitely include it in the theme. We’re not allowed to provide modified version of these premium plugins, I’m sorry. :(

Please send us a private message via the form on our profile page and we’ll send it to you once we get it (and if the plugin developer replies that it’s fine to share it). However, I don’t believe it will happen before Monday.

I am using plugin “Transposh” & your one page theme but i found a very strange problem , English works perfectly but when we use Arabic many thins are not as expected specially with “Full text slider” , below links will give you clarity

I’m interested in purchasing your theme, but I have a few pre-sale questions.

I just asked a refund for a theme I purchased that was very similar to this one (in terms of features, easiness of customization, ...), at least that’s what they promised… Unfortunately, it turned out to be really disappointing. After many tries, I didn’t manage to get the theme working properly. There seemed to be an issue with the combination of the Visual Composer (WP Bakery) plugin and the other functions and plugins involved in the theme and in WP. My client would not have been able to use it as easily as it was planned.

1. As you’re working with VC as well, will I have to install VC or WP Bakery ? With all these “layers” of plugins, themes, and WP features, I was completely lost and didn’t know which feature to use in which case. 2. Is there a specific “client-side” interface for my client to use (access to a limited set of tools for editing the content) ? 3. Is it possible to modify the position of the menu as you enter the website ? For example, can I put it below the Home image and when you scroll down, the menu sticks to the top of the page ? 4. I would like to see the demo of the theme 2 but it doesn’t work (keeps loading indefinitely, whereas the other themes are loading quite fast). But anyway, if I choose the theme 2, how customizable is this theme ? For example, would I be able to put a parallax effect on the Home image and have only 1 image on the Homepage instead of a lateral slider with 3 images ?

Thank you for the interest! And I’m really sorry to hear your previous theme turned out to be disappointing.

1. Yes, you’ll need to install the WPBakery Page Builder (former “VC”). It is used to create content of your pages and portfolio posts. We have this explained in our theme documentation.

2. WPBakery Page Builder is the interface your client would be using to create/edit content.

3. Unfortunately that is not possible without further custom tweaks in the theme, I’m sorry!

4. Thank you for reporting the demo 2 issue, we noticed the recent changes in WordPress breaks the legacy version of the slider. For now, it has been disabled but we will definitely look closer into the issue. However, it’s almost identical to Demo 3. And sure, you’re free to configure the page content as you wish. Everything is built with the page builder so you can freely add, remove and re-arrange the sections/blocks. :)

Just curious if there is anyone that manages your support tickets. I submitted a ticket over a month ago. Got a response over a week later after several additional inquires asking for a status. The response did not answer all my questions and I am STILL waiting. I have made 5 additional inquires since then (looking for a status) and STILL no reply. I practically begged for someone to get back to me and nothing. Love this theme but the support is terrible. Never seen anything like it here on Themeforest. PLEASE RESPOND TO MY TICKET!! I need to launch my site and you are delaying this because of issues within the theme.

Hi,

A presale question I find your theme very beautiful and I think I am interested in buying it. I just have a question about the mobile menus and submenus. I tested the demos on my phone, the submenus and menus opening another page (like shop) don’t work! Only the menus to the sections on the page work correctly. On computer everything is ok but not on mobile. It’s normal ?

And thank you for reporting the issue. This issue has been long resolved in the latest version of North – I can see that fix was not applied to our demo website which is a reason it doesn’t work. We will apply a patch there as well shortly!

Thank you for your reply. I am reassured. One last thing, I see that the theme will soon be 6 years old, can you confirm that if I buy it I will be quiet for a few more years and that you will ensure regular updates, especially the switch to wordpress 5.5 in some months ?

We will keep updating the theme to be compatible with any critical WordPress update. WordPress 5.5 is not as huge of a change as WordPress 5 itself was and we got all of our themes updated back then to get them up to date with that major release. I cannot promise we will update our themes to be fully integrated with stuff like Gutenberg as our themes were originally created for the Classic Editor and that’s how we’re going to keep it. But in general, they will work with the latest WordPress versions.

However, when it comes to a “few years” perspective, unfortunately, we cannot promise anything.

Hello, the template North for wordpress says it offers lifetime updates. I am currently trying to do plugin updates and I am being shown a notice from your Veented website that says I need to pay for continuing technical support for plugins. Thank you.

We absolutely do NOT charge any extra fees for bundled plugin updates. The automated service is provided to clients with the valid, active support period because that’s the Envato marketplace policy. However, themes get updates that include the latest version of plugins. A new update is coming out this week with the recent version of all included plugins. :)
