A question regarding video streams: I understood that is it not possible for uploading videos by an instruktor in his dashboard. Only embedded videos are possibkle right? I understood that videos must be declared as private on youtube or vimeo.
But what is with the advertisings doing by youtube? E.G. If I watch a youtube video on youtube.de the video will be full of advertisements.
So if an instructor post an embedded video code from youtube on his course how can he / she avoid that youtube shows these advertisements?

If you will upload video into the site directly from your PC, your site will be heavy as video files do not have a small size in general. Your request doesn’t relate to the WordPress based theme behave. The theme supports any video links with embedded links like YouTube or Vimeo services. The security of those links fully depends on the profile account from where you are getting embedded links. Moreover, any video can be easily copied via using Screen Recorder applications

For example an instructor (John Doe) who wants to log in to my portal to sell his knowledge for a fee.
He created a video, posts it on Youtube as private, so that only certain people can see it, is that correct?
If yes then there are 2 problems for me:
1 If you now watch a video, the source is shown at the bottom of the video player (e.g. Youtube or Vimeo). How can this be prevented?
2. How can the on-screen advertising and similar videos from YouTube be prevented? 3. I took a look at your demo pages and also found the instructor area and errors there. - Can I register two prices for the courses? One more normal and one discounted for members? The registered member would pariated this amount at a discount by logging in?

I have a platform right now with another theme. I need to provide a distance learning solution to a school, so each course will be a classroom and each student will have your own account linked to your classroom. Each teacher will have access only to your course (classroom) and will add the lessons to the class.
1 – Is there a way to not show prices (every course is free) and don’t force the student to “buy” the course?
2 – Can I assign a student only to a specific course so he can only see it’s own course?
3 – The school is based on Brazil, and I already had some issues translating themes to portuguese (some string just won’t translate). Will you guys provide some support on this matter?

1 – Leaving the price filed empty makes the course free, but does the student still need to “buy” the course? Or it just need to enter the “classroom”?
3 – The translation I got it! But, for example, when the theme is updated will the translation be erased?
5 – At the teacher’s dashboard (as I saw on the theme’s live demo) he can create new courses (classes in my case) and add new content to the class directly from it, alright? No need for him to do this in the wordpress admin dashboard, is that correct?
6 – Assignments works as quizzes, but if the teacher need to pass an assignment as a PDF, for example, or if the assignment is needed to be sent for the teachers as a document, is it possible?

This sidebar is course filter and it can be managed under the STM LMS settings -> courses section. You can enable courses filtering by categories. Just activate the option Enable Archive Filter.
