Porto uses the Bootstrap grid system so the column container has padding itself but the visual composer(WP Bakery) grid system column inner has padding.

If you want to use columns with background, you need to add another element with has background color in a column.

This is the only possible way.

Porto WordPress is fully RTL Ready/Compaitable. You just have to change/select the RTL language from Wp-Dashboard >> Setting and your site will be change as RTL automatically.

Hello, The Porto theme uses Fast Velocity Minify as a cache plugin. It is all configured following the tutorial for this latest version. However, information appears on the website’s page analysis, for example:

Performance Analysis Remove unused CSS Remove dead rules from stylesheets and defer the loading of CSS not used for above-the-fold content to reduce unnecessary bytes consumed by network activity

The informed CSS is: /wp-content/uploads/cache/fvm/1592343658/out/header-9d75f6e8a48419fd92d1ae73c6d4e46a5e420eb9.min.css

However, this is the CSS minified by the FVM, essential for loading the page layout. What could we have set up wrong? Are we doing it right?

Please make sure that you have updated the Theme and Plugins Properly as written in this article:

Please take a complete backup of your site before update the theme and also deactivate/delete these three plugins (Porto Widgets, Porto Shortcode, Porto Content-Type) before an update because in our latest theme we have made a new Plugin named Porto Functionality is a combination of these 3 plugins so before installing Porto Functionality you must deactivate/delete those 3 plugins and in our new update also Ultimate addon for Visual composer Plugin is also excluded, the elements which are used in the site of Ultimate Addon we add those elements in Porto Functionality so no need to worry but you can use Ultimate Addon for the visual composer as well it is up to you.

1. Things you should do first:

|.   Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
||.  Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
|||. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
|V.  Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V.   Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 30/03/2017. According to the Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

I’ve fixed it manually – the only thing that does not work now is the WPBakey page builder update. I can click update but it doesn’t.

Hi, I set a class name for an element(Porto info box) which I add on a row’s column and I can not center it. I use the custom class “icon-box-info” on wp bakery css editor but I can not find how to center it. Also there is not any setting from element’s panel.

loves this theme BUT , so annoying you can’t take you live site to a test server to make updates before making them on your live site without causing so many issues with the registration key forcing you into making live updates and changes on a live site… it would be good if ‘LOCAL’ was ignored but the system , ive now got 2 codes for one site becuase i was p*ssed off with going through the process again with support

Yes all sounds good on paper, but I’ve tried this three times, twice you contacted me to inform the site was being used twice and I also showed you I had deactivated it from the live site and the test site still said it was being used and you had to change it manually for me, then when I tested the changes and moved it back it did the same, and I had to ask for it to be done manually, today the same, this id is already being used on local , so I gave up and purchased another license….

This is not an issue but the Lazy Load issue, Please turn it OFF/Un-Check from Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard >> Lazy Load and click on compile button and finally check your site after removing the server, site and browser cache, I am sure you will not finds this issue anymore, and it is clearly written in Lazy Load section that:

Disable this option if you have any compatibility problems.

So, your site has compatibility problems with Lazy Load please do not use it.

OR

This may because of the issue, If you are using the cache remove it and deactivate all the third party plugins including the cache plugins and check back after removing the browser cache.
