I’m quite disappointed about the Import Data feature. I expected that all assets will be imported to my WP instance but then it turns out most of them are external links! (How bad would that be for SEO? You wouldn’t guess.) And they’re quite tricky to download, they’re in WEBP format and I still have to convert them to JPG/PNG individually. Imagine I did this for all your external images for 20 themes using Ekko. This is frustrating.

All images used on the demos are hosted on our servers. Due to copyright issues we are not allowed to re-distribute them as they are premium stock photos. If you are willing to use the same images you need to purchase them separately on https://www.shutterstock.com/. They have a reverse image search option where you upload a picture and it will find the corresponding image on their website. Give it a try.
Hey there, im considering about buying this theme, but I page speed tested the preview demos and they are all between 10-20 seconds in mobile devices, I would like to know how much can one optimize this theme and if there is fast sites using this themes over there. Thanks

I tried to access the preview demo for the ekko theme but links on this site are not working. How I can preview the theme before I decide to buy it? I checked with different browser (IE) and I got this error message: This page can’t be displayed

does your play button (modal window) work with self hosted videos? we can’t use youtube or vimeo because of gdpr. i think i will buy ekko regardsless, but it would be really nice if you made gdpr aspects as easy as possible. can i host my google fonts local, too? thanks in advance.

- The theme doesn’t have a GDPR system installed. You need to use a plugin.

Thanks for writing in! The preferred file format for a favicon is JPEG or PNG. You can upload the favicon image in Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Site Identity > Site Icon.
