And i have another problem: The complete text of one article is shown under every article on the Blog Page. (The WP excerpt feature does only work for the Home site but not in this case.

Hi I bought your theme, but the WOOSLIDER plugin is not working, it gave me a fatal error, so I removed it. I uploaded it manually on the ftp after that to see if it will works, still the error occurs. Do you have an idea why is that happening?

Hi I’m willing to buy this theme but I have some questions about it. The first one is that when I view it on my iPhone it has a lot of blank space after the menu, how can you fix this? It takes a lot of space from the mobile space. The other thing is that I would like to style the drop down menu bar that displays in mobile devices so it could be nicer, is this possible? Something like this theme does http://www.wpexplorer.com/premium/alpha/. The last thing is that I see the drop menu showing in the iPad, apart from looking weird because it has no styling, I would like to view the full menu in portrait view mode. The menu I will having is small, so it could perfectly fit on the iPad.

1. You can do so by making changes in CSS .
2. You can do that easily by disabling one media query. No biggy.

I know this theme have great reviews and that’s why I purchased it, after giving it some thoughts, is actually my issue, not the theme’s .
I will report the php errors I found, maybe a bad installation, will reloaded again to see if they clear, I’m set on using this theme, I really like it.
Question: Is Custom CSS for each page an option on this theme or do I need a plugin?

At this time, the custom CSS has to go in the style.css file in the editor. We are currently working on a new feature update and are discussing the possibility of adding CSS fields into the page options for users.

Hi, purchased the theme to replace the theme I was using for my site, based on reviews and slides options, to later find out that the home page is based on shortcodes, am I missing something here? No home page options on the admin panels? I’m a little disappointed, wish we could test a theme before buying it, not counting 5 php errors. Beautiful theme, but can’t use it, Respectfully, me.
We apologize that you are disappointed with the theme. I’m not sure what the problem is with setting up the home page with short codes, is that really a big issue? Most users prefer it that way. With the visual editor and the short code buttons it’s super easy to set up pages, I don’t understand how that is a problem.
Also, you can import the XML data to quickly get the site looking like the demo. If there are certain requirements you need from a theme, then it’s always good to ask a pre sales question, unfortunately there is no way possible to try a theme before you buy it, no way to regulate something like that.
Im confused, Why can’t you use the theme, that honestly doesn’t make sense? And what php errors are you getting?

Where do I find the pixel dimensions for pictures, vids, etc so that all my images/vids are all the same dimensions?
There are no set dimensions, images and videos can be whatever you want!
If you want all images to be te same size then pick a size that you like and crop them all with those dimensions.
Videos will be different since there are set aspect ratios but you should be able to get close to the same size as your images assuming your images are landscape and not portrait.

Whenever I change the dimensions, it doesn’t update live in “Preview” but changes when I copy and paste the url link into the html field again. Is this normal?
Sometimes that can happen with the admin. When you save it, does the page update in your browser?
I’m now noticing that the actual url link changes slightly (number variation) whenever I crop or rescale the image. Seems like I have no choice but to recopy and paste the link whenever I update an image size…at least for the about page. Maybe it’s just a WordPress issue that I haven’t learned to work with yet though.
I am trying to install the museo font. My wordpress host wants to charge me additional money to access ftp. Is there a way to get around it? I added the font in the fonts folder and then re-zipped it and reinstalled but I’m not seeing the font in header font selection.

You can just extract the zip file, add the fonts in the fonts folder, rezip the theme and reupload it for Museo Slab support.

Which lines are you referring to? The divider lines in-between the recent posts?
Edit .footer-area in css/all.css file. You’ll see they not an image but just a border.

OK, here’s the process I have done.
1. create a new blog post 2. enter text… 3. Set featured image 4. upload/add image to blog post
There is no option to delete either of these images from the media window.
Your theme manual says the theme automatically creates a slider. I don’t want to create a slider for every blog posts. Small images will be resized incorrectly.

You are adding both a featured image and a blog image. That creates a slideshow. You feature image should be the blog image you want displayed.
It will automatically create a slider when you put more than one image in the post. Your example has two images, a featured image and then an uploaded image. In your media window at the top you will see a “gallery” tab, in that section you can remove one of the images.
But I suggest only inserting one image to begin with on posts that do no need a slider.

I’m really running out of patience with this theme. I asked you things and you just say to live with it.
Reading through all the other posts, people are having problems with all the bugs in this theme yet it’s ranked as 5 stars.
I need multiple images in my blog posts. I do not need or want a slider in my blog posts. Multiple images is a basic right of Wordpress. Sliders are not.
Wordpress does not automatically add a slider when you add multiple images in a post – so why should I have to put up with this in my site?
Can you please just tell me how to disable the slider in blog posts.

No that is NOT what I’m saying.
I feel we have went above and beyond to help you and others and we will continue to do so. We have a 5 star rating because we have went above and beyond with every single user, we have done nothing but support for the past 8 days this theme has been released. 99% of our users have been very, very happy with the theme. There are always bugs with themes, the important thing is the author works them out and releases updates, which we have done. Never once did I say to “live with it” … But this is besides the point, we are trying to help you as we always have been.
I think the problem is we are not understanding each other on what you want to do. Going back and forth in comments makes it difficult to do as well.
Please email us your url, username and password and I can take a look for you. Please be patient, we have been helping you the entire time. I belvie the problem is we are misunderstanding each other, which happens all the time with things like this since every user sees things differently.

You already have my email and I haven’t had any responses from you. I set up an admin access for you, emailed you with the details and you have done anything since. I can see you have had my emails because you replied.
We are not confusing issues. I simply told you I do not want an automatic slider on the blog page if I add multiple images in my single blog post. This is not native to wordpress and it has many bad points. I have already told you that if you put a small image in a blog post, it will upscale this image in the automatic slider and look very bad. Also, the page load time takes longer because it has to load all the extra images. This affects people on mobiles and slow connections which is bad. I’m sure someone else will discover this and ask how to disable the automatic slider also.
I just simply want to know how to disable the automatic slider on the blog page.
Can you please just tell me how to do this and I can edit the code myself. If your developer goes into my site and edits the code then no one else can see what to do. If you post the fix here then everyone can see it and do it for themselves.

Please understand that we have had hundreds of emails, and most of the emails are not the same username as what is in the comments so its impossible to tell who is who. I just found your email, and we replied 3 times to it and it had nothing to do with this issue you are having. Your email response was replied to and solved, that was the end of that story.

I only have two replies from you regarding the download of your theme taking 7 hours. I sent you screenshots regarding the responsive errors I notified you about. I still have not had a reply about that. You said you would log in a delete the media files from the theme but I can see that you have not logged in. I am only telling you what I have. If there were a lot of large screenshots then its possible they never made it through, its best to put a zip file of images on a server then send us the link, or send them a few at a time.

Can you please tell me which css controls the following: 1. Under meet our team…The name and title of the person 2. On the about us page.. under the heading .. Who is avanda.. the plus in the box
I added the new CSS and updated files.. I’ve placed my css edits in the style.css.. BUT the hover over the images on the portfolio page is still not working and the button on the contact page has the same issue.
for the styling, please download “firebug” and use it in your browser, it allows you to inspect different elements to see what controls it.

The other issues you are talking about, are those IE issues still? If so, can you please email us the screenshots of the issues, along with general info like what version of IE you are using. We will get it fixed.

Having issues with a plugin’s shortcode not displaying its contents on a page. Installed Ajax Event Calendar, created an event and placed their shortcode on the page – [events_show].
Not sure if its your theme not rendering it, or if the plugin is not working properly. see http://wifsdfw.org/wifs-events/

Unfortunately, we don’t have a theme option for that. You’ll have to edit portfolio theme files and remove the links.
Edit portfolio-one-column.php, portfolio-two-column.php, portfolio-three-column.php or portfolio-four-column.php .. depending on your choice and remove any links wrapped with
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"></a>.
How do I disable the image slider on the blog page? If I add a small image anywhere in the blog page (e.g. a thumbnail) then this image is automatically added to the slider which is then scaled up and looks bad.

1) when I define the “Style” of a text item in the LayerSlider, I cannot change the font to any of my Google Fonts. Is this possible?
e.g.: width: 940px; font-size: 22pt; color: #927a59; font-family: arial; line-height: 115%;
2) I downloaded the Museo Slab 500 Font and installed it on my computer. I also copied the extracted files into the Avada Theme Font folder. For some reason it still won’t show me the font in the list under Appearance.

1. Make sure you are putting your styling inside the HTML field, you need to do inlines styling for the layer slider. Keep the style field only set to … width: 940px
2. Have you downloaded the latest version, 1.0.4. There was an issue with the muuseo slab name that has been resolved.

(paragraph open) style=”font-family:PT Sans;color:red;font-size:20px;”>My text(paragraph closed)
I think i’m still missing someting.
