Whats the best way to update our theme for the new update?

Note: From Saasland 3.2.0 version, you can update the theme to the latest version automatically from the WordPress dashboard.

I’m trying to create a fresh home page based on your various homepage layout. But I can’t able to create some elements. For example, I need to add an element form below the homepage.

In this regard, you can make that element in two ways.
1. Elementor template: Press the right button of your mouse on the targeted Elementor section, then you will find an option “Save as Template.” Click on that option to save this section as a template. You will able to import that section on any page using Elementor.
2. Manual : Select the Element (which you need to re-create) and see the name of the widget, which widget is used to build that section. You can make the same element with that Elementor widget anywhere.

Perfect! Thank you! One little issue: The Icons of the section design.png and finger.png are not existing in the demo content. Is this a mistake on my side of the importing, or are they missing? I tried to add them manually but they are not existing in the Icon library.
We have tweaked that widget with enabling image icon support. You will get it with the next update of the theme.

How to make blog post banners default to show. Currently it sets it to hidden.

How did you make the Blog post banner hidden? It should be shown by default. There is no way to hide globally. You can hide the post banner individually from the Saasland Post Options. See those options here.
However, you can control the Blog post banner from Theme Settings > Blog Pages > Single Page

I don’t know the reason, all I can see is that when I create a new post the banner is hidden. Yes I made lots of changes to the settings, however you mention there is no global settings, so there should be nothing for me to be able to get this set to hidden by default. And as you say there are no global settings, then it must be a bug. Can you please look into this deeper. There is clearly something causing the toggle to be set to hidden. Your image you showed me is indeed the post section, but for me it is toggled hidden instead of shown.
Probably this issue has happened for your customization work. If you can specify any bug for our theme, then we can solve it for you. Otherwise, you have to figure it out and fix it.

I have updated the theme to the latest i.e Saasland Version: 3.1.8 But for some reason I am unable to update the Saasland Core Plugin. It says that I need an update from 3.1.0 to 3.1.8, when I click update, it updates and says successful, but its still at 3.1.0. What can I do to fix this?

It should not happen with Saasland 3.1.8. If you still get the 3.1.0 version after updating the plugin, delete the Saasland Core plugin. Then install it from Appearance > Install Plugins

1. Are the background images/elements floating around, etc. your own images or can the colors of them be changed dynamically?
2. The gif on the bottom footer, is that customizable? Where did you create that from? If I find one I like can I place one there?

It looks like reducing paddings on the top bar is broken. Despite setting them to 0 (or any other value) they get overwritten by following rule ”.no_main_menu a.navbar-brand.sticky_logo”

I can’t seem to get the tabbed content to work, any of the tabs when you try to click on it, it does not toggle. What could the issue be?

We have developed a website using Saasland child theme and done some customization here. The website score is coming very poor. For Google Pagespeed Insight it is (Mobile = 11, Desktop = 60).
Currently we have installed W3Total Cache plugin to improve the core to 60 for desktop. We tried few more recommended plugins like Autoptimize, Async JavaScript, Litespeed Cache, WP Fastest Cache, etc but your theme is breaking if we use any of the plugin for optimization.
Can you suggest how we can improve the score for our website?

I’ve replaced the homepage background slideshow with a short time-lapse video. And I was editing in Safari In Elementor – Edit Hero Section I can be able to replace the video and it is nicely showing. But, it is not showing in the live site in chrome & mozilla. Are there any compatibility issue with the browsers?
