Hi, just imported demo data which includes a lot of sliders and hero images on top of pages.
The problem is, I can not access the sliders in the page builder and not in the backend editor (not visible). Where the sliders are stored exactly and how to edit/rearrange them?

Which demo did you import? If you imported one that’s using a Nectar Slider, the slides will be contained in that post type and added to the page via the Nectar Slider page builder element. If you’ve imported the Agency demo, the header section is populated by the “page header” metabox at the bottom of the edit page screen. If you could sh are your URL in regards id be glad to help out further.

Gallery with Lightbox
When you click on the first image in the gallery and go through the lightbox to one that is outside the Viewport, when you leave the viewport it centers on the image, breaking the rest of the site.
Is there any solution for this?

You can either set the “Overflow Visibility” on the image gallery to “hidden” and change the parent row to Full width content, or you could change the lightbox script from fancybox3 to magnific in the Salient options panel > general settings

Wouldn’t it be possible to disable the realignment that FancyBox3 requests when it closes the lightbox? (changing the code)

I’m using the Masonry portfolio and trying to add some CSS to the first item of each row (using 5 columns). If the masonry layout is selected, it appears to not display the portfolio in chronological order? When I look at the source code for each column of the portfolio, they jump order every now and again. So I can’t use a CSS nth-child to target the first item of each row as it’s different (ie, not every 5th!). Is that normal behaviour? If non-masonry is selected the portfolios appear in the correct date order.

Hey Sean, that’s occurring because of the masonry portfolio uses the “packery” layout mode: https://isotope.metafizzy.co/layout-modes/packery.html Modifying that would require editing the following file: wp-content/plugins/salient-portfolo/js/salient-portfolio.js

You can disable posts from automatically using the post featured image in the Salient options panel > blog tab by toggling the option “Single Post Header Inherits Featured Image”. Are you instead trying to remove the post header (with the title) all together?

I would like the single post page not to use the featured image in the header, but that I could configure it in another way, with the smaller image followed by the title.

There are multiple post header styles, but they all use the featured image in the header as a BG. To alter that, you could turn off the setting I mentioned above (Single Post Header Inherits Featured Image) and then also turn off the option titled “Hide Featured Media on Single Post” to display the featured image under the post title.

Hey there. I added the code but the element still has a hover/bounce effect upon rollover.
Also, not sure why but if I use a 1/3 + 2/3 column setup and add the Post Grid element into the first column, the excerpt and title acts strangely. It does not span the full width of the excerpt area. Seems to only span about 70% of the width.
Not sure if it’s conflicting CSS somewhere. Thoughts?

I’ve discovered a solution so, if not too late, feel free to disregard my question above. Instead of a Post Grid, I used a regular Post instead. Fits perfectly.
Is there a way to remove the categories that appear above the title? Also, is it possible to change the title header size? Not a dealbreaker if the header customization isn’t possible.

1. I’m not seeing the CSS snippet I provided above active in your setup. Can you try enabling the option “Force Dynamic CSS to Inline In Head” in the CSS/Script related tab to make sure that it’s not a caching issue with your plugin?

Challenge: when a user clicks the slidewidgetarea button and the sidewidget slides out, we are finding that the users sometimes do not know how to exist or close the area after they open it.
Is there a way to do the follow?
a) enable a feature that closes the slidewidgetarea when the users clicks outside the slideout area in the darker shaded space?

hi guys, on mobile very often i can’t see the images in the background of the nectar sliders, the sliders are just black. It’s not an internet or device issue I’m pretty sure. Often the sliders are black, but sometimes I see them fully. Any idea what this could be? Thank you!

hi there! yeah that issue occurs sometimes, not 100% of the time. We’ve tried on different browsers and OSs with similar issues. I’m on chrome and android, for example.

I just tried another round of testing on two different Android devices with and refreshed http://pdg.titansdesign.com/ for a few minutes without seeing the problem occur. Unfortunately, unless I can replicate it troubleshooting would not be easy since this is not a known issue. Is that the correct URL where you’re seeing it occur?
Thank you. We have tried on several different devices and the issue seems to somehow only occur on wifi connections. Very strange, not sure it’s somehow connected to the theme but it does occur once in a while.
