Hi Phil. Regarding the new grid cards for portfolio and blog, is there a way to change the sort/filter animation? I believe the earlier isotope versions shifted/moved the cards around.
The current version uses opacity and the cards remain static until the view is refreshed. Anyway to change the animation to use the previous filter effect? Thank you as always!

The new post grid is not using isotope and therefore can’t animate the actual movement in the same way when changing filters. This choice was chosen because of significant performance improvements in both JS execution and loading from removing that library dependency. The previous masonry formatting required calculations to position each item, and additionally had to wait until the JS and all images were loaded to make those calculations - The post grid is pure modern CSS.

To accomplish that would require used the “tabs” page builder element. Inside each tab a row could be added and each column within that row could be styled to function as a pricing section. There is not built in functionality to have a toggle switch like that, but the same functionality could be achieved with tabs ( named monthly/yearly ). Custom CSS would be required to get that styling though.
Hello, how can I set different logo for the sticky menu? I mean when I am scrolling down I need to show darker logo, how can I set it? I don’t see any setting for sticky header logo on your theme.

Salient only allows you to define different logos for the header nav when using the transparent header effect (with the exception of the Centered Menu Bottom Bar layout). Can you please share your URL in regards so that I can take a look at your setup?

2. Salient does not have the built-in option to swap logos outside the conditions I mentioned above. If you do not want to use the transparent header effect, but still want to take advantage of the logo swapping functionality, you could use custom CSS to set the header BG color when in the transparent state.

Columns are no longer stretched to fill the window height on mobile, since they end up stacking. You’ll need to configure your columns in such a way that they can size correctly once that automatic height is removed, and the sizing behaves like a normal page on mobile.
Here’s one of your section for an example: https://ibb.co/yfDtvgX you have a divider in the top of the column, giving some height, but nothing in the bottom. You could either duplicate that divider and also place it at the bottom of your column, or simply remove it and set column padding. The above column with the text “company” will also need some column padding (top/bottom), to give it a cushion on mobile. If desired, you can also deactivate the fullscreen functionality completely for mobile devices only, which will allow your page to scroll and layout like a regular page https://ibb.co/ZW74pBC
Additionally, the custom CSS you’ve added to create the white border on the page should be removed for mobile, as it’s causing issues with the mobile header alignment. Salient also provides a theme option for that kind of body border in the Salient options panel > general settings tab at the bottom (Body Border (Passepartout))
Hello, thanks for your kind answer but I did not talked about the mobiles… I talked about desktops with different screen sizes: 13”, 11”, 10”, 17”, 21”, etc… on these sizes, the site is not responsive. some parts like the address on the contact us slide on homepage disappear. how can I make sure nothing will disappear from the screen? and again… I am talking about desktop. not mobiles.

In regard to the contact slider – since there’s a 200px divider on the top, on smaller screen sizes the height of that plus the form itself will end up being larger than the screen height. Hi, I’m working on a client website. I’ve updated the theme to the latest version but ran into some issues in the header. There is a (sub)header which is actually for the mobile nav saying “no menu assigned”, however it already works on mobile.
Also there are some overlapping icons, search and the hamburger menu item, which shouldn’t be there.
Any ideas?

I would suspect that’s occurring due to the use of a modified header.php file within the child theme. Please ensure that any files relating to the header are updated to match the parent (or removed from the child)

There’s new social media widget by default, but you could use the custom HMTL widget and manually add icons. Or you could find a third party plugin which adds a social based widget.

Salient needs to seriously consider changing header website search function dependencies.
its been years and years and this search function still depending on older jQuery liberaries.
Search text gets completly messed up when I disable jquery migrate script or update jquery libs.
And based on WordPress recent plan to update jquery libs on 5.6 and completely ditch jquery migrate on 5.7 you will have to adapt to it despite what i say in this comment. its just a heads up.

That issue is occurring due to the following custom CSS you have in your child theme:

You can add a media query around that so that it does not effect mobile:

If you remove that as well as the margin CSS, it should fit correctly.
I removed all the content in .css style from the child theme but I still have this empty space problem on the right side

1. The regular “carousel” page builder element > flickity script just got the option recently for “Adaptive Height”. You could create a testimonial slider by using that element + single testimonials in each column. Alternatively, you could change the testimonial slider to one of the other styles which support varying height slides (basic, minimal).
2. Are you trying to alter the fancy box elements under the text “NOVO Health Market” or the fancy boxes within the carousel under “Community Recommended Products”?

Hi, I’d like to have a second menu like on this page https://www.zetor.com/zetor-proxima that is sticky. The second menu is the one that has Basic Information, Specifications and Technical Parameters. This menu remains sticky from half way through the page when you scroll down. One would be the page submenu: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-promo/page-submenu/ and the second would be the tabbed section with the style selected: “vertical sticky scrolling”. I love the theme – except for one major problem. Forms are invisible on the page. I tried gravity forms as well as Contact7 – and in both cases the form fields are invisible – only see the submit button. I changed setting to minimal form setting as well as inherit in the salient settings – no form fields displaying. I’ve never had this happen on any other theme. And I disabled the one 3rd party plugin I had – it made no difference. The only active plugins are the Salient plugins and the form plugin.
I figured out – it has to do with the theme color on the column options (light and dark) text color. With white background you have to have “dark” text color option chosen.

Nectar Slider / WPML conflict Is this a know problem? Once I activate WPML, the slider is not showing the image anymore, only the headline and the caption, all in front of the black bg. If you create a new slide, there are 2 buttons right on top of all the settings and options. The buttons are for Image background or vide background. If WPML is activated, they do not show up as supposed. There are no buttons, only the text, no blue background and you can not click them. If I deactivate WPML, the buttons appear normal and the slider is showing the chosen image. Hmmmm. that way, I can not use the Nectar slider, which is supposed to be a main feature, right? I have lates WP and latest Theme version. Any idea what to do?

We’ve worked with their team to ensure compatibility. Have you opened a ticket with WPML yet so that they can take a look at the setup?
Everything is fine with WPML on our website. Only the Nectar does not work. I can tell them. It is a try. Explanation will be difficult. When activated, it makes some of your slider settings disappear or it is showing the elements, like buttons in a wrong, not functional way.
there are more conflicts. also the buttons to enable/disable full page rows are gone from the settings. This is something you should look into. I would have to renew the support in order to give you access.
It sounds like you’re experiencing the same javascript error on all those admin pages which is preventing the buttons from loading. I have attempted to replicate the issue locally and can not see it occurring with the latest WPML (v4.3.16) and the other with the other plugins in the suite (WPML Media, String Translation, Translation Management) https://ibb.co/cT3VmZW Can you confirm you’re using the same WPML version and Salient v12+?
If you don’t have an active support license with ThemeNectar, you should still be able to post on the WPML support forum. I can then reach out to their developers in regard to get in on that ticket.
I have 4.3.15 and it does not show the update button in plugin settings. So I think, the difference between 15 and 16 is minor. Did you really test your theme with 16 because I downloaded 15 only a few weeks ago. At that time it was the latest version.
Yes, I checked with the latest available version to verify what you’ve been describing is not a new issue – I doubt the issue is related to you being on 4.3.15 instead of 4.3.16, so at this point temporary access to your backend would be required in order to troubleshoot further
OK. That would mean, I have to update all plugins manually to 4.3.16. I will do this as soon as I have time for it. I will report here.

When you have a bunch of woocommerce reviews and you enable the default pagination and set to say 10 reviews per page. The pager navigation doesn’t work, when you try to click to page 2 it just scrolls up and doesn’t actually go to page 2.
Please check pagination for woocommerce reviews.

How can I remove the big bars on top of the checkout page for “already a user. login here” and “have a coupon. enter it here”? The bars are huge and span all the way across the page so it’s unnecessarily distracting during the checkout process. I just need simple clean text side by side links: Have an account?
