I have not seen this issue earlier for others, I need to check it out your wp admin.
I also noticed when adding the search widget the search button is separated from the search box (see image below). It doesn’t look right.
Do you know of a quick fix?
BTW , despite these little bugs, I’m really liking this theme.

How do you get the second line of copy on the elastic slider? I’m trying everything.. adding an excerpt.. adding a description… nothing is showing up besides the first line of copy. help.
the second line of the copy from wordpress editor, what ever you enter on the wp editor it shows as second line.
I downloaded the most recent file and updated style.css & custom_skin.php and it did add the gradient inn IE, however, the colors are not the same. I have a gradient of a powder blue & white (in the circle gradient it looks good) but when i update the gradient colors in the css file, the same I’m using for the others, for IE the colors are a dark blue to black.
Any ideas why they aren’t using the same colors? I really hate IE.
It should not happen like this, in the recent updates, the gradient should work but in IE circle gradient do not show, it shows linear gradient. the color should works, I will look into the issue if you can email me access.
Ok, I took another look today and made my color edits and it seems to work.

The gradient background in IE is inversed. The dark in the bottom and the light at the top. I hope you understand what I mean, it’s hard to me to write in English.
Yes I got it, but IE9 do not supporting the circle gradient, we are searching the proper one and will update as soon as we get it.
HI, I just purchased this theme and the icon boxes are not showing up. As test I am using this one:

I added my Twitter ID to the Footer Twitter by going to “Appearance > Theme Options > Footer” but after saving the change and viewing the site, the template is broken. It gets cut off just after the footer twitter area.
Any ideas on a fix?

Try by adding correct Twitter ID.
I am using the correct Twitter ID, also the same thing happened when I used the Twitter widget. It broke the theme as you see above.
I think, it may be div closing issue.
Try by going to “Appearance > Theme Options > FrontPage Settings” where select sample page or any if created, and save changes.
I followed your direction and that didn’t solve it, theme still broke.

You are right, when the blog post are in the homepage, if you add the twitter the home page mesh up, now its fixed.
I will update the files, for this fix: you need to replace index.php

Not very urgent it can wait until you push out other fixes. Do you know where we can we see when the template has been updated? The download section in ThemeForest doesn’t list version numbers or flag in anyway if a newer version is ready for downloading.

Download latest files and replace style.css & custom_skin.php which is in css folder.
Is it possible to setup a child theme for Globex? When I tried to set one up it messed up WordPress after activating it.

I was afraid of that. In the theme options I don’t see a space for adding custom css, where would I add that since I don’t want to edit the actual css file in case of future updates to the theme.
We will add custom text area where you can add custom styles, in coming updates.
Sounds good. In the meantime, in case anyone else is curious, I created an external css file and added a link to it in the area where I added the Google Analytical code and it seemed to work so far.
@Vincentdatin I had the same issue. The theme is programmed to take the last word of your text…regardless of the number of words….and replace with three periods as an implication for more.
Turn the links off on the slider settings in the theme options…
Then add <span style="visibility:hidden;">Last Word</span> to the end of your headlines… and it tricks the programmed action.
I am sure there is a smarter way to do this.. but I couldn’t find it in the php.. so I found this work around.
I’ve downloaded the last version. I still have a problem with the elastic slider . The numbers of words in the title and the description seems to be limited. How could i change it ?

If you would like to increase the slider caption, open elastic-slider.php which is in slider folder and find this code

Rich Its looking good, slider is working fine in IE also. everything is fine in IE9 as like FF, but the slider gradient is not showing, right? I will check it out and let you know if any fixes needs from your side.

After updating the slider works. But support of Cyrillic fonts from Google Web Fonts doesn’t work. Its Play, Ubuntu Condensed etc. I need help.
you can add your own google font by navigating to :
“Theme Options > Typography” here you can add enter the google font name for Titles, Menu & Body.

Very nice theme. Thinking about purchasing but just curious why there isn’t a search function on home page…maybe right aligned in menu bar would look nice. Still though that’s nothing that can’t be done easily but otherwise a really nice site. Well done and all the best with sales.
