Just wondering when you’re going to properly apply responsiveness to the theme as we’ve waited over 18 months now and don’t really have to want to rewrite it to get the proper layouts.
It’s been brought up many many times before but this is the only theme that seemingly cannot apply proper responsive breakpoints.
You set yours as small / medium / large but this does not cover all situations, as we need an xl (mobiles) element.
Point is, based on Avada layout and limitation of 3 responsive breakpoints, we have a small screen size that leads right up to 767px and thus applies a single column layout – see this as example -> https://i.imgur.com/J4wZK0Y.jpg
I think on smaller screens we should be able to have two columns, so on mobile landscape and ipad portrait.
Look at your own classic demo shop on a small screen and open the main shop (no sidebar) page and you’ll see what I mean. Surely this should have more columns, as it looks awful if you use a small iPad or turn a mobile landscape (sideways).
If it was set to BS4 it might be better -

Yet there’s no way possible to set these in avada settings – it would mean applying loads of @media against the columns on a per-page basis to get the correct layout using overrides which isn’t the best way.
So in a nutshell, is there a way we can control how many items are being shown per row in the shop layout, based on screen size? As the small screens showing a single item is not right and no other theme has this issue so it is an avada thing as WP Bakery using Bootstrap so we can use the classes and play with SASS to get it right.

We have already addressed this in our latest version that is 7.0 and a major update that includes our header builder as well as provide more freedom for the mobile layout and tons of other new features, it is a complete makeover of how columns and containers work on mobile and other screen sizes and you should be able to select the number of columns as per your own requirement, the new version 7.0 is going to be out very soon and will take care of your requirement

So how long roughly until v7 will be ready as I don’t want to waste time building the site using @media queries if I don’t need to but I’ll need to know if it’s like this month, or in December – for example.

What I want to do is to force it to have 3 columns and a right-hand sidebar. But it appears there’s no page pulling this template – any ideas to help achieve this please?
I have achieved it for the main store view – https://i.imgur.com/UaEfbfm.png but just want the product category pages to look the same…..
edit – ignore this, have sussed it – just recreate a new page for the category and then copy the content from shop with sidebar into it then change the shortcode to pull all products.

Hi. In recent google lighthouse seo audit there is an issue with this “a class=”fusion-one-page-text-link fusion-page-load-link” which a check and is there in the theme, is it possible to just erase it? I don’t see the use. Regards

The current copy of the slider comes bundled the theme to create great functionality and the users don’t need to pay extra for the sliders. We do include updates for the slider as and when they are released. The plugins, if added via the theme, will show as not activated. This happens because this is a bundled plugin. The plugin, however, is completely functional. The only limitation would be access to their premium content
If you do need to register/update your premium plugins separately, you can do so by purchasing their license individually. However, this is not really required. Relevant documentation – https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/sliders/purchase-codes-premium-sliders/
The plugin can be updated by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard → Avada → Plugins (and not the regular plugin section)

We would request you to please backup all content and reinstall the Avada theme and builder. I would request you to please install it via FTP using the method described here (you can rename the old theme folder and reinstall the new copy and then move the old theme folder to another directory). Plugin can be installed in the standard manner (delete and install a new copy). Ideally this never makes a user lose any layout

I believe you mean something like a forum. We make use of the BBPress plugin for such a similar interface. I would request you to please check the capabilities of the BBPress plugin. A lot of user use BBPress in tandem with the Buddypress plugin. BuddyPress plugin offers similar such options. Relevant documentation here
Please note, BBPress is bundled with the theme but BuddyPress is not really bundled with the theme. However, quite some users make use of it without any issues

Pre sale question Can the menu style of ge.com, slb.com, golarlng.com be archived with this theme

The golarlng.com site seems to have a slide-from-left menu. We don’t have such a menu styling. We do have a slightly similar ‘flyout’ menu style that you can see here: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/restaurant/
For the other two sites – we have something slightly similar – that’s our Megamenu (multi-column submenu) where you can display pictures, widgets, etc in multiple columns e.g. try hovering over the ‘categories’ menu item on below link to see it in action.

That is the closest menu styling we have to what those sites have. It won’t be exactly the same styling though as each site/theme has its own layout/styling options.

Wondering if you can help with a quick issue – on Avada Classic Shop, when you click into the two store views (Shop full width / Shop with sidebar) – on the sidebar page there is no filters like those that show on full width – and when you try adding sidebar to full width page it displays 4 items per row instead of 3 so looks squashed.
Basically, looking to have the classic shop display a sidebar AND the filters / grid/list layout and Sort by option.
How does one achieve this please; or at least how does one add these to the Shop with sidebar page so they render and display like the full width page?

Once you’ve specified one of your pages as the main Shop page in WooCommerce settings, you can edit the page and select any sidebar from the fusion page options -> sidebar area like shown in below video:

If you need to add one or more WooCommerce widgets to that sidebar or create a new sidebar, you can do so from your WP dashboards -> Appearance -> Widgets page like shown in above video.

Why are you complicating this? Open your demo. Classic shop. Click the shop menu item and there’s two choices. Sidebar & full width.
On full width it has filters at the top of page content – there is no sidebar.
On sidebar view there’s no filter.
I want to use the filter AND sidebar on same page.

I misunderstand your query. You’re referring to the ‘Ordering boxes’ on the shop page. Those can be easily toggled ON/OFF from under WP Dashboard → Avada → Theme Options → WooCommerce → General WooCommerce → WooCommerce Shop Page Ordering Boxes.
The reason it doesn’t show on the second page is – there can be only one Single page specified as the Store/Shop page in WooCommerce settings. On our demo we wanted to show case two different layouts of the Shop page so the second page was created manually by using a WooCommerce shortcode. Hence, no Ordering Boxes showing there.
My last reply shows you steps on how to add a sidebar to the shop page – so you can follow those steps to add a sidebar to your shop page if needed.

I have to add a script code into a page and it doesn’t show up anything. The code is working great on other themes ( I changed on other sites with other themes) however for some reason it doesn’t work with Avada.

Please try adding the code via our Code Block Element to see if it works or via the Code Block fields under WP Dashboard → Avada → Theme Options → Advanced Code Fields . Also what is the code for? While we cannot assist with custom code snippets – if the issue still persists, I’d recommend checking if the code provider offers a WordPress plugin or Widget that you can use instead and see if that works for you.

I can not add the code into the Theme Options -> Advanced Code Fields because it’s a button. It needs to be added into a page.
I did use bot hthe Block Code element and I also added to the text element in the html but it just doesn’t work
Here is the code. I pasted this into a different WP website with a different theme, works without issues. I added to the Avada theme website and it doesn’t work

Yes I know, I own 3 licences (Support Expired). That means I can’t even open a Ticket to tell you that something you annouced your product supports, doesn’t work. Avada says it supports IE11 but it doesn’t. How do we proceed?

As an additional note, kind to do ensure you have “Async media query loading disabled”. This causes issues with IE 11 and loads the mobile menu. You can check this by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard → Avada → Theme Options → Performance, Screenshot here
