Dear Avada team,
I love your template, that’s why I advice my clients and my WordPress’s students to buy it.
But I have a problem with one of my client’s website: he bought 3 licences (for 3 differents websites), and all the websites are registrered (no error messages).
But on only one of them (Clairitec.com), I can’t get the update: we have the 6.2.2 in front of the 7.0.1. Impossible to get update, and no error message (licence validated). I ve warning message of security with the 6.2.2 … So my client and me are worried and we really want the update.
I tried to create a ticket but our 6 months support is finished. Can you please tell me how to get the last update?

Please make sure that you have one other default WP theme such as 2020 or 2019 installed on those sites, if its not installed please do install one and check again with the update.

Hello, i want to ask a pre-sale question before buying your fantastic theme. Can i install the theme at a subdomain on a domain i own for development, and then transfer it to it’s own domain? Can i transfer the access token? Thank you

Yes, if the subdomain is only for the development purpose you can definitely do that, however if you want to make two different sites than it will require an additional license.

In Avada 7, you can set the Container to “Legacy” mode to see the equal height option. OR set the Column Alignment property to “Stretch” in the Container settings in Flex mode to have the Columns in equal height.

Hi there. I have a page where I’d like to give my guests the option of playing an audio file. However I know I can insert an audio player or insert a button that links to a modal window with the audio player.
I want to know if it’s possible to have people click on a picture for instance and have the audio play – or have people click on a picture and open a modal window with the audio player?
I would like to NOT use the button feature to play the audio and instead use an image (button) I make myself.

There should be no issues with mobile layout while updating our theme to its latest version that is 7.0.1 however if for some reason you are seeing any issues, please double check that your update is not missing any files by checking your console, also please double check by disabling your 3rd party plugins, the provided URL for some reason is not loading for me too, if the issue persist please open a support ticket with our team and we will check it out for you right away.

The weird thing is I put it on a new page without any settings changed and seems to work, doesnt make sense to me why its happening maybe file string /file/name/example but i did resolve it creating a new page?

There is a major bug where the visitor cannot checkout (in WooCommerce) if the “Shop to a different address” field is not ticked. For some reason, the billing details are not copied over to the shipping fields (if unticked). During checkout, the user see’s a warning that the address, city, state and zip fields are required. Those fields are not visible unless you tick “Ship to a different address?” option??
We switched to a different theme, and were able to checkout. After switching back to Avada, no luck. We also made sure the WooCommerce -> Shipping -> Shipping Options—> “Shipping Destination = default to billing address”, but that doesn’t help either??
Anyone else experiencing these issues?

We have no such reported issue with our latest version 7.0.1, can you please double check that you are using the latest version of Avada and WooCommerce both in this case, also please try disabling your 3rd party plugins as well, if the issue persists please open a support ticket and our team will gladly assist you with this further.

The new header builder has some issues…
1). The sticky header doesn’t work using Crome but works fine using Edge? 2). The mobile menu shows behind the page content across multiple browsers and the PWA?

You can edit the specific category in the dashboard from the main Categories page e.g under WP Dashboard -> Posts -> Categories page and will be able to add some description for each category. That’ll show on top of the category page.

I’m afraid we haven’t officially tested Avada with those plugins. We recommend using WooCommerce for eStore functionality as most of its official addons will work without issues with Avada. Usually any properly coded plugin should work without issues with Avada though.
As for ACF Pro and other bundled plugins that you get with Avada – Yes, we offer new versions of those for downloads usually a few days after the official release.

The rules of refund are set by Envato’s refund policy. Link here. I am afraid, we have not really tested the plugin and we can not really guarantee compatibility of the plugin with the theme. However almost all themes on Envato/Themeforest will have the same limitation as it just not possible for us to test with all plugins.
I would request you to please contact the plugin author and check if they do have any information on this (in terms of compatibility). You can also contact Envato/Themeforest support and check with them if their refund policy applies in situations where the author can not guarantee compatibility

As information: ThemeFusion Page Builder Plugin Version 2.2.3 and above breaks the functionality of eForm – WordPress Form Builder. Both plugins create a dependency problem (jquery?) that causes in eforms the problem that uploads no longer work (files will not be submitted). Problem exists in 6.2.3 and also 7.01. eForms / Wp-Quark is also informed.

We’d recommend reaching out to the plugin developers to see if they’ll consider adding any compatibility with Avada. If they share any technical info as to why their plugins have a conflict with Avada, please send us a ticket and our team can check this further. We’ll usually add popular plugins to our to do list for compatibility – and depending on demand, will work on compatibility with them in the future.

The problem seems to be: they use newer js / jquery librarys than avada. I remember for an option in avada that was able to activate a jquery compatibility mode. Do I remember wrong or did you remove it in one of the last versions? I will buy a support fee today and then also write a ticket.

Avada does not have any such mode present in it. Avada, makes makes use of the jQuery version that is shipped with version. I am afraid we can not really add our own version as this can cause issues with WP core and compatibility issues with other plugin. We certainly would love to use the newer version of jQyuery but I am afraid we can not really change this at our end. This is something that will be done by the authors or WP core

After the latest update changed the design of the close button in modal element, expecially on mobile devices. And it is really ugly.

Hi, titles on avada theme have h1, h2, h3 with “h” in lowercase, there is imposible SEO compatibility, and google penalize this. Please how i can change for all theme web h1 to H1, and h2 to H2 and all to H6 ? thank you !

I am afraid then that tool would be quite inaccurate. Infact most of the web will list title tags in lowercase, https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_hn.asp
Also as per w3c standards, this would not really matter as they are case insensitive matches. Pleae refer the link, https://w3c.github.io/html-reference/documents.html#case-insensitivity

so, i used to receive updates but after avada 6.2.3 i stopped receiving updates. just wondering why im not receiving any updates since avada 7 and higher is released.

Please see that your theme still shows as registered under Avada -> Registration page in the dashboard and then go to the WP dashboard -> dashboard -> Updates page and hit the Check Again button to see if the updates show.

okay, lastly when i tried to update slider revolution or the events calander my wordpress crases and i get this error: “There Has Been A Critical Error On Your Website” can this be because the update you guys have has an error ?

An incomplete or failed update can cause such an issue. You can always update your plugins via FTP. You can go to your support desk , then switch to the Product Registration tab. In the provided field, enter your Personal Token Key and click ‘Submit Code’. You’ll see a success notification and buttons to download the Fusion Core, Fusion Builder, Slider Revolution, LayerSlider WP, Advanced Custom Fields PRO, Fusion White Label Branding, and Convert Plus plugins.
Rename the old plugin folders via FTP and then please add copies of the new plugin. Please do ensure you have backups before you update.

If I create an website and sell to my client, need a extended license? Is the extended license limited or unlimited use for multi clients?

One license is required required for each live/production website that you use Avada on. So e.g. if you need to use Avada on second website than an additional license is required.
The Extended License is still limited to a single end product only. For more information, please the Extended License terms.

This is now possible with our new menu item in 7.0.1 version of theme, we suggest you to please try that on mobile with using the special item inside Appearance > Menus tab and set your menu to not break in mobile mode, if you need further assistance with this please open a support ticket and our team will check this further
