Any idea if while using FacetWP, if it’s possible to swap out Listify’s built-in sort by box for listings with that of a FacetWP sort by box? Already reached out to FacetWP and they weren’t sure if it’s possible. Looking to update the options in the Sort By dropdown for listings, ideally sorting by price, low to high and vice versa, and # of reviews. Thank you! Julie

With respect to your question here, unfortunately this is something that would entail custom work to implement.As it currently stands we don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend Envato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Will I get a zip after I buy the theme? Can I have the permission to modify all directories of the theme (777 permissions) after installing the zip to wordpress?And you can FTP files to this topic or you can FTP files to local?

With respect to your question here, yes you will receive the zip file. There are no permission editing restrictions on the files as well. This will depend on your host. As for FTP, you can also install the theme to your install via FTP.

Pre-Purchase question. I’m looking to do a local restaurant listing and need to have the restaurant’s menu listed along with description price and a picture, is this possible by default? And can all this be added by the customer?

With respect to your question here, unfortunately this is not possible by default. You can however use the Wp Job Manager Field Editor plugin to create custom fields and render the fields data on the listings.

In Yelp.com when you enter for example: Restaurants, Los Angeles, CA it gives shows you the search results and the title tag says “Top 10 Best Restaurants In Los Angeles, CA”. In your theme it says: “Restaurants – Listify Classic…”. Is there a way that your theme can show the “keyword”+”city” within the title tag? Can the title tag be customized based on the search results? Most major directories have this feature.

Hello!
I have some presale questions.
1) Is it possible to use your theme for a members directory (to list tutors profiles/resumes)?
2) Can I have two different user types? (One for free members that will be able to registrate with permission to rate/comment/send message and one for professionals that will have to buy a subscription to be able to submit their profile/resume)
3) Will I be able to create a subscription form with custom fields for professionals to submit (from frontend) their profile/resume?
4) Will I be able to create custom search filters to list members?
5) Is it possible to have custom info (text fields) for each member on directory page? (Such as price per hour/ profession / etc?
Could you please let me know if I’ll need extra plugins for the above?

With respect to the outlined questions:
1.You can have members as the listings but unfortunately it would not be possible to accomodate their resumes.
2 & 3.Unfortunately these are not possible by default.
4. You can use the Facet Wp plugin for this.
5. Yes this is possible. You will however need to use the Wp Job Manager Field Editor plugin to add custom fields.

Hey there. I am a listify user. I updated the theme to the latest version. Unfortunately there is a bug in the mobile version. If you push the search button at the start page and it comes the search page for the first time everything is okay. When you go back to the start page and repeat the procedure, mean you come to the search page for the secon time, the listings doesn’t appear on the mobile version. This bug is only in the mobile version. I made a fresh Installation. Same problem.

Did anything change recently about displaying photo descriptions for the gallery images from the listings gallery page? Mine seem to have disappeared and I was using this workaround as the photo captions for listing gallery images since the captions don’t show up on the front end. Cheers, Julie

The case here is that you can add a caption for listing gallery images but they won’t display on the front-end.

Hi John, thanks for all the info. Yep, I’ve known for awhile that captions won’t show up on the front-end, and until recently, image descriptions showed up in the listing image gallery, so that was a workaround to credit a photographer.
Any plans for captions ever showing up? Our listings have professional photos and those photographers want to be credited – do you have suggestions on how to credit those photographers given the theme’s parameters?

2. At this time the theme does not have a events feature built into it. There are also no compatibility tests with the Events Pro plugin.

In relation to your question here, unfortunately you can only have one listing type. As for searches on products, I’m afraid this would not be possible by default on the search filters. Users will only be in a position to search for products using the default WordPress search , not the custom search filters by Wp Job Manager. You can however customize your search filters using Facet WP. They will however not be in a position to view the business associated with the listing on the products . This may entail a bit of custom work to configure.
