Megaphone is not a podcasting service, it is a WordPress theme that you can use on your website, so you’re embedding the audio files as well.

Our player does have a Share option, and your users can share the audio on their social media. It also has a download option, which would lead them to the file source, and they can easily embed the audios if you’re using a podcasting service. So, I’m afraid that you can’t do that with the WordPress theme, because that is not the theme purpose in general, but you can allow your users to share the audios and you can allow them to share them by copying the iframe from your podcasting service.

Note that sending theme customization request is completely free of charge and you can later decide whether you want to accept the offer or not.

I’m sorry, but Captivate FM podcast hosting is not really the same as Captivate Player. It is an online source from which our player should pick up the audio.

Captivate FM is not in our list of supported sources yet. As I can see, Captivate does support embedding their episodes with an iframe, so there is a good chance that our player can pick up the audio if you remove the div tags around the iframe while embedding the episode.

I’ll forward your message to our product team, so they can go through it once more because there is an interest.

If you want, you can test the theme as described previously, and try to embed your Captivate FM episodes inside the posts.

This is a premium plugin, so we can’t really test it without the files, but there is no reason why Megaphone would be incompatible with any widely tested plugin on the market.

If you have the plugin files, you can create a Megaphone test drive, and we can install the plugin for you, so you can test it with our theme.

You can change site branding in the header in Customize -> Theme Options -> Header -> General and remove our logo from all logo slots and upload your own.

For the footer logo, we add it through the widget in Appearance -> Widgets -> Footer Column 1 -> Custom HTML but you can use Image widget.

For the problem with loading your audio file on the player please contact our support team on this link https://mekshq.com/contact/#support and send them some temporary login credentials so they can inspect that problem on your side.

Well, I bought it and now it seems that this is right.. we can only have one set of subscribe buttons (and the spotify one don´t work if we use the url spotify:show: wich is used to open the app itself). Maybe this is something to think about when the theme is “Multishow”... would be nice if we could also change some settings for each category, for example: show episode counting in only one show, or order the episdes differentely in wich show and so on…
