Hello Jason, We can only manage the availability calendar (not price or rooms). Not sure if this is something we can implement as a global feature (same as ical), but if you have some technical documentation from your channel manager you can send for us to look over it and see if it’s an idea we can add to wishlist.

hi, i have a problem, with only the one plugin activated which is the “WpRentals -Theme Core Functionality” i am getting this error in site health on wordpress? All other plugins are disabled.

Hi guys,

I would like to know if the template have the option to charge a “Service Fee %” to the guest, like Airbnb do? Today we have Cleaning Fee and others but that are fixed fees and we are looking for a % fee.

I know that the template comes with City Fees that could be used for this, changing the name of that item, but I want to confirmed if there is an originaloption to do this with the template.

Hi Juan, Thank you for the comment.

The theme has 1 fee $service_fee which is deducted from total booking value when set.

Since the beginning of the theme, the main feature we had in mind was to show a transparent booking price to user, and no hidden fees to show on booking from for user to pay.

As you already noticed, you could use the city or cleaning fee as extra charge and rename, but the idea of a service fee for user (a 2nd fee) was not added as feature by default.

We’ve had this suggestion brought to us, but very few times. Will save your feedback too on the wishlist, but I cannot make any promises for this feature in the future at the moment.

To configure the “City Fee” as a “Guest Service Fee” we want the charge to be a percentage and from the user’s dashboard it can be configured in % with a check on the check box, but from “Listings” in WP Rental it cannot, it can only be entered in number as a fixed fee and not as a %. Can this be changed with some simple tweak in WP rental?

The objective of this is that we have control to configures the % that is charged to the guest and not the Home Owner.

I think that it should be easy to fixed it, because it exist on one side but on the other side maybe is just hidden, and is just work of making appear that function.

This is a global value set and applies to each booking, independent from its category.

Hi invictussde, Thank you for buying the theme before I could answer.

1. Admin always gets paid. Money goes to admin (for deposit and optional, for paying the remaining balance)

2. We don’t have payment to user (and in general, payments to user are not allowed directly, not even by 3rd party sites).

3. The theme is designed for users to book properties between each other, and admin not to interfere (we have different options as you can see in demo) The booking requires users register so as admin you have access to see who booked what, but you don’t need to interfere in the booking approval process (bookings can be approved by owner only – with his manual approval, if he doesn’t enable instant booking or with his approval, if instant booking is disabled).

As the admin you can ask for a deposit and a service fee (these can be the same value if you wish to take as a deposit just your service fee) in % or fixed value, and this value is deducted from the total booking. As the admin, you can choose if you wish to include in this deposit the cleaning and city fee or not. If you ask for a 100% deposit, the fees are automatically included.

The user will need to pay that deposit in order for the booking to be confirmed (even if the owner approves the booking request). The money goes to the admin. The difference will be paid by the user to owner outside the theme (we have the option to pay the remaining value in the theme, but the money goes still to admin, so if you don’t wish that to exist, we can show you how to hide with CSS).

At the moment payment to owner cannot be done in the theme. We’re not sure if in the future we will be able to extend this functionality. If you make a decision please consider only the existing features.

So I’ve just downloaded this theme and installed the necessary plugins. I saw it included both Elementor and Visual Composer. I’d rather use Visual Composer so I’ve deactivated Elementor and that an extension of it. Now I am trying to import the demo, but it is nowhere te be found in the theme files? I can only find Elementor demo pages. Does this mean you can only use Elementor? Why would be Visual Composer be included? Or where can I find the demo for Visual Composer then? I checked a video on YouTube but that seems to be outdated.

In the template there are message fields (inbox) where users can communicate with each other. Is there any way to be able to filter the messages that come by email or by phone?

How can I do so that clients and listing publisher are prohibited from sending personal contact information such as emails, number mobile, etc? This just to prevent lose sales because of desintermediation.

Do suggest to integrate an especific plugins or simply do you already developed a code that you can share with us?

Hi, I am afraid we don’t have a way to filter messages. We haven’t received this request before, but will add to our wishlist for further research.

The messages cannot by modified automatically either. This kind of solution would need a custom implementation and I have no suggestions. This request is pretty complex. It would be impossible to give any kind of modifications directions.

Hi, on hourly booking demo: is there another layout for picking the date? We are currently using another theme but it’s slow. Unfortunately the date/hour picking on the demo is very strange. Is there a layout for just picking date and hour “normally”? Except for that I think the theme is beautiful.

Hi dm23a, Thank you for the feedback and interest in our theme. I am afraid the calendar script we integrated doesn’t support the select type (only drag and drop) . We don’t have an alternative to this selector with the available script, and replacing the entire calendar implies actually redoing the entire feature, something we’re not sure we will be able to do.
