Recently re-upped on support license… also recently just updated to version 4.5.2 of the theme. I’m getting a notice that some of the templates are outdated.

thegem/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 3.8.0 is out of date. The core version is 4.4.0,

thegem/woocommerce/cart/cross-sells.php version 3.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 4.4.0,

thegem/woocommerce/single-product/title.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 4.4.0,

No child theme being used. Please advise…

Yes indeed. The plugin TheGem Theme Elements (for WPBakery) is at version 4.5.2 and does not indicate that it needs to be updated.

Please be so kind to contact us via our support center at codexthemes.ticksy.com, we will check.

I have already done this.

Logged a support ticket but no reply, Backend Editor will not run. I have tried the Jquery Updater which did no work, Jquery Migrator Help shows the following issues

Hello, I have problem with text elements on my site. When i try to update the theme, i got fail message.

When i try to reactivate my theme i got this message: You have exceeded the max. number of activations, allowed by this activation key. Please purchase an additional copy of theme in order to get a new valid activation key. In case of any questions in this concern please contact our support here – https://codexthemes.ticksy.com/submit/#100013212.

I made this site last year. First i mage it on test domain then i migrate it on real domain. Is it problem? Pls help.

Hi, you have violated the license agreement by installing and using TheGem on several websites under one license.   You can contact us via our contact form here https://themeforest.net/user/codexthemes and we will provide you the list of this websites.    Please purchase additional licenses and provide us new purchase codes (via our contact form at https://themeforest.net/user/codexthemes) and we will re-activate your license. Or remove TheGem and all its files completely from other websites. Thank you

Hey guys .. wanted to understand now that I am porting my site to a different host with the same domain name. want know understand that the theme license that ive purchased will work on the new host. the license is currently connected to the same domain name.

Hi, at the moment you have 2 active different installations under the same license key, please contact us via our contact form at https://themeforest.net/user/codexthemes for further details

We updated wp to 5.5 and like others here (with same experience), our page is rendering odd with some front-end contents lost. In addition, this error message is displayed when we try to access plugins from the gem theme activation page: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

Furthermore, LayerSlider and Slider Revolution plugins won’t update. Kindly confirm that we have some sort of “extended license” for any or both of them as a license owner of TheGem theme?

We’ve tried sorting out our issues by installing the jQuery Migrate Helper but it returns warnings/errors for TheGem theme, and this message too: “Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update.”

Beyond frustrating.

Thanks for your prompt response, however, a couple of my questions remain unanswered. I also forgot to mention that we’ve already updated TheGem theme but like I said when we click “Begin Installing Plugins”, a blank page with the following error message is displayed: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
Do we need to reinstall TheGem theme all over again?

Hi, seems like your WP user does not have permissions to install plugins. Please share your URL and wp-admin details via our contact form at https://themeforest.net/user/codexthemes, we will check

Hi. The WP user has full admin access but I have sent the details as requested. Thanks!

Can you look at ticket number #2507928 please

Hi, replied in ticket

Hi, I purchased two licenses for the Gem theme; however, I am using a different theme on one of the sites I previously had the Gem theme installed. I now want to install the Gem theme for a different site. I tried activating both licenses I have but the activation returns an error for both purchase codes. How do I verify and deactivate the previous domain that was using the purchase code?

Hi, at the moment you have two licenses and two final production websites. For details please contact us via our contact form at https://themeforest.net/user/codexthemes

Hello, I am waiting for your response for 7 days and I have no solution to a very common problem, the animations do not appear in the Rev Slide plugin

Dear Support

Is this theme now compatible with WordPress 5.5? I can see in the change log that you say it is but on themeforest it still says only compatible with WP 5.4

Thanks

Hi, yes, it is compatible. Themeforest has not udpated the list of compatible software yet that’s why we don’t have an option to select it now (maybe in a couple of days it will be available). But don’t worry., TheGem is 100% compatible with WP 5.5.

we have a 50+ page site built out using VC page builder, but want to switch to elementor, we would do so OVERTIME, not all at once, can the new elementor support, run along VC page builder? (your readme says no, but i want to hear direct from you) in this case its not feasible to rebuild the entire site real quick in elementor (we need to have both page builders and update over time) thanks

Hi, thank you for your request. Yes, both theme versions are optimized for different builders and cannot exist simultaneously on one installation. We would recommend to make a localhost or subdomain development copy of your current website, install there the Elementor version and rebuild pages there; after that you can just migrate the Elementor website to your live.

dear all, I need to disable hover color of “circular overlay” hover type at styled gallery. Can you please suggest how to do it? thanks a lot

Hi, pls. provide a link to the page with the gallery, we need to see your settings.

hellow, you have problems whit the plugin woocomerce? i’m using TheGem Theme, when I finish the purchase it does not work, it does not load the checkout page, if i change to other theme it work perfectly so i think it is a not problem configuration of woocomerce, can you help me?

Hi, sounds strange. Please provide your link via our support center at codexthemes.ticksy.com, we will check

Hello there, I purchased this yesterday and has raised some tickets. I have requested for refund as per Envato policy as explained in ticket. Please can refund be processed asap. Thanks

Hi, Not sure if you are aware, but one of the recent GEM updates broke (ie making not visible on website) any content using the following features: “CSS Animation”, “Lazy loading enabled”, or any icons using the “icon with title”. Those are the ones I noticed and wanted to make you aware.

I was hoping the most recent update would have fixed this, but it did not.

Best,

Hi thank you for letting us know. Yes, we are aware of this issue caused by the latest WordPress 5.5 update. It has introduced its own lazy loading feature enabled by default, so now we are preparing a theme update on this which will be available in a couple of hours. Sorry for any inconvenience.

after update all the images don’t show up after last update https://neonsunphotography.com/ how can I fix this ? Before also half of. The images didn’t show up. Please I need help

Support, licensing and staging: I use staging site and production site. So when I buy the license which comes with 6 months support. What happens when I want to make changes using staging site, I would need to raise support ticket as per discussion in forums. Would I need to buy support for that or will licensing switch will be supported as license is perpetual?

Hi, thank you for your request. You will not need to buy any extra support. In case you select 6 months support, you will have an access to our support center at codexthemes.ticksy.com during this period, after that you always have an option to extend your support. But no additional costs for license as license is perpetual

Thanks, there is one issue that switching between staging to productive or vice versa would need intervention of support. So after six months, if I do changes in staging and move the changes to production, I would probably need support to respond.

Ok, absolutely no problem, you can always contact us on this matter and we will be glad to assist you

Can I use it on multi-site wordpress installation?

Can I apply your theme to multiple sites?

Do I need extended license for that?

Hi, thank you for your request - yes, sure, TheGem is 100% WP multisite ready - one regular license allows you to use TheGem on one development and one final production website - If you wish to use TheGem multiple times you need multiple licenses. Please contact us via our contact form at https://themeforest.net/user/codexthemes for further details.

Then under the same WP multisite instance, we will have multiple sites for multiple services like, officialwebsite.com, service1.com, service2.com, blogsite.com, ecommerce.com, and I want to apply your theme to all the sites.

So can I do that under 1 regular license?
