Slider Revolution bundled with current version of this theme is 6.2.17 which is broken on wordpress 5.5. Their developers fixed this problem at 6.2.18. When will theme devs include Slider Revolution 6.2.18 or later in the theme package? As it is now Slider Revolution bundled within your theme is unusable on wordpress 5.5.

At the moment, the latest version of the Revolution Slider which come bundled with the theme packet is 6.2.17. We consider to add the latest version of it in the near future updates. I apologize for not describing the problem more clearly. The problem is, as Slider Revolution team stated themselves on https://www.themepunch.com/faq/wordpress-5-5-important-update-information/ , ‘A certain deprecated jQuery function in WordPress 5.5 is causing some settings in Slider Revolution and Essential Grid to be set to their default value upon opening the Slider Revolution editor or editing an Essential Grid project.’ I have tested this myself and confirmed that on 6.2.17 some settings do revert to default upon reopening Slider Revolution editor. No further technical support needed as solution to this problem seems to be simply updating the plugin. I hope an updated version of the plugin will be added to the bundle on next update. Thanks!

Please fix this cpu usage issue. Last 2 updates heave messed up my site completely. I was using 4cpu and 8gb ram and upgraded to 6cpu and 12gb ram and the issue is still there cpu still goes high. Past few days I have re configured my server moved my website to new host nothing has worked.

You guys should allow us to downgrade to old version or maybe try to listen to our problem.

And also please don’t reply with those links to fix cpu usage I have done all of that and I am not even using tagDiv Standard Pack which should speed up my site.

Not just me there are many users complaining about this issue so it has to be theme rather than our server.

Please tell me will there be update coming with a fix or not? Because last few weeks my bounce rate has gone up by 41% as site keeps crashing and lost so much traffic to my competitor.

If there won’t be any updates then I would rather buy other themes. Or maybe give us option to downgrade tagdiv library and tagdiv composer plugins.

Also $41 for 6 months support is ridiculous.

This wouldn’t be an issue that can be solved from our side through a theme update. The recent theme up[dates weren’t major updates that would suddenly cause such issues. If it hasn’t happened before updating, have you tried reverting to an older theme version from the theme updates panel as mentioned above? Does that solve the problem? If you have sent us an email we will take a look, and try to provide some suggestions as soon as possible. 100% sure it’s coming from theme plugins. My 4cpu and 8gb ram was handling 3000 concurrent users without any issue and now it can’t even process 500 users with 6cpu and 12gb ram. Past few weeks I have removed so many plugins because I would have never thought it would be newspaper theme as I have been using it for 3 years now.

Also look at comments here and forum people would not just start complaining randomly with the server issue and I am sure there are so many other users who have not figured it out it’s theme fault as it took me 1 week to find out.

as I do: so that the header with the Cloud Templates. load before web body because it is the last thing that loads!

After the latest update I got this error too: Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

I tried the solution tried above with uninstall-reinstall TD composer but it didn’t work. Thanks

First of all, please make sure that you have correctly updated the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in that case. In most cases, that problem occurs due to some untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. As a hint, if you are using the WPBakery plugin, please remove it and use only the TD Composer as page builder if you want to achieve a better theme performance. Block “Slide” in tagdiv composer doesn’t work properly. Its filter post and categories not included, it seems Slide doesn’t see any posts or categories at all, please fix it.

Hi, paying 50 USD every 6 months is not cool. It should be at least for a year. I just renewed and it expired. We are facing 3 problems. The Admin dashboard is opening very slowly, takes 2-5 minutes to load when we turn on all the tagdiv plugins. 2) Some of the stories on desktop open in mobile format on its own, randomly. Eg- https://www.gadgetbridge.com/news/canon-eos-r5-and-eos-r6-full-frame-mirrorless-cameras-launched-in-india/ 3) The mobile site and amp plugin is activated, yet on mobile it does not show the mobile site. It shows the desktop version. Please help.

Please try to understand that the support extension prices are defined by Envato, not by us, as mentioned in this guide here https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/207886473-Extending-and-Renewing-Item-Support If the mobile theme/AMP and desktop theme are mixed, that is is most cases caused by caching. Depending on what caching you are using, check if it has settings for using a mobile theme, activate them if there are any. Or try the super cache plugin, which works fine with the mobile theme https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Also please check if there are enough resources, PHP version etc https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/

Updating WP 5.5 and the theme to the latest build as well. TD Composer is not working as it keeps on rounding a loop forever, we cannot edit any pages or even the cloud templates and you cannot click anything on the TD Composer options. Hope you fix this issue.

question admin-ajax.php is causing high cpu. we are on the latest theme version. we moved our site to THREE different hosting platforms and the issue is still there. One hosting platform can even open wp-admin. Is this a known issue – if so let me know if you have link to knowldgebase. If not – pleae advise on what should we do.
Every hosting team (10Web, Siteground, Crocweb) say it is the issue with the theme. I couldn’t believe it when I heard it first time, but I keep hearing it from every hosting I move the theme into. (plugins can do this is as well, but we don’t run anything unusual – wordpfence, jetpack, geodirectory, and othjer typical ones)

Unfirtunately this is definitely the theme and not any of the plugins, here is the testing on the server that has 1 CPU available for this site and 1GB of RAM wit all plugins active:

1. With Newspaper theme activated – reloading the home page causes a) 69% CPU spike and b) I simpluy cannot login to wp-admin, I get 503 service unavailable error

2. When default Wordpress 2020 theme is activated – CPU spike with reloading the whomepage is 3%, no problem logging in to wp-admin

The test was perfomred 3 times with consistent results.
This test confirms what 3 other hosting companies are saying.
Sama question: Is this a known issue – if so let me know if you have link to knowldgebase. If not – pleae advise on what should we do.

Comparing the Newspaper theme with a simple default WordPress theme is inconclusive. The theme does use admin ajax for quite a few elements, maybe these can be reduced on your website. Please reinstall the composer, deactivate and delete it and reinstall it from the theme plugins panel https://prnt.sc/u1f63q Then clear the cache, and also the browser cache (or force refresh the page in which you are checking, should be Ctrl+Shift+R in the browser). Then it should work fine.

Another issue since updating to WP 5.5 and the theme to the latest build.
