But I don’t see the promised on disabled URL changing in load more and infinite scroll that I have file this issues on June 9, 2020 in your beloved Support ticket system.
Which I did mentioned on June 9, 2020 I am using Infinite load for my shop page and when I scroll to the next page it will show page 2. I get into one of the item in Page 2 and when I click go back button on my browser and all the page 1 item are gone. This could be a bad experience for my customers when they surfing the product. Can I disabled the URL changing?
As what your dev team is replied on June 13, 2020 Hello, In the Sober theme, we don’t have the option to disable URL changing. At this moment, it is fixed in the code and we can’t change it. We will try to add a new option for it it (similar to the Konte theme) in coming updates. Thank you
I have been waited this update since June 9 until Sept 13, checked the latest comment frequently and most of the time you guys had mention “Latest update is going to release in few day”. I understood to release a latest update might need a lot of workload on different testing. But through out this long time to wait for this new features, I am very disappointed on this result.
So do that mean, in the 6 month of the support available, you guy may need more than 3 month to release a update, and in the period of waiting and causes my support expired. Next issues found in latest version, do I still need to pay another fees to get this support again? Don’t you think this is a perfect support ticket systems for your buyers who facing different issues in latest version that had causes in the developing process but the risk is taken by your buyer.

As usual, we keep releasing new updates for our theme in a short period and try to separate new features in each small updates to avoid unexpected issues. Unfortunately, this update (Sober v3) is a big update with new features which are related to each other, therefore it takes more time to be completed in development and testing. After this update, we will keep releasing new small updates to improve the theme and adding new options that you and other people have suggested before. You can change to use Elementor from version 3.0.0 without losing theme’s options. But you have to create pages again with Elementor. For example, you have to re-create the homepage, about, contact, etc.

Yes, this theme has an option to open the cart popup after you added a product to the cart. You can enable it in Appearance > Customize > Shop > General.

Buyers beware. There is no Theme options panel. It uses WP’s native “Customizer” function that’s extremely buggy and has cache issues. Simple things like changing the font of the prices is nowhere to be found. There are two options for the blog layout, BOTH of them require a sidebar that cannot be disabled. I could write a book on everything wrong with this theme. But the biggest takeaway is that lack of basic customizations. I’ve also found that the theme’s murky coding will often overwrite or reprioritize your custom CSS. All around atrocious. Definitely avoid.
There’s also no way to choose a content wrapper for the shop page.The shop page is full width all the time, no options for a wrapper to match the header/nav, no option to adjust padding between items, just terrible. You’re locked into a terrible design layout. Any changes would require significant amounts of coding to ensure the custom css adapts to mobile properly. This theme is way more trouble than it’s worth. I’ve spend days trying to strip away limits back to a basic Wordpress site to get things to look normal. Squarespace is more versatile than this theme.

Actually, the theme has no problem at all. There were some problems between WPbakery Page Builder and Revolution Slider plugins with WordPress 5.5, but they are all fixed in the latest version of these plugins. At this moment, the theme (and bundled plugins) are working smoothly with WordPress 5.5.

We’re sorry for this delay. We usually release an update after 1 – 2 days WooCommerce has a big changes. But unfortunately, this update of WooCommerce is released during the time our developer working on the big update for the Sober theme (it is Sober v3), therefore this update can’t be delivery as fast as usual. But luckly, we have already done all the works for Sober v3. We’re testing it and will release this update in the next few days.
At this moment, to fix issues with WordPress 5.5, you just need to delete WPBakery Page Builder and Revolution Slider plugins on your website, then reinstall them in Appearance > Install Plugins to get the latest version. All issues with WordPress 5.5 come from the old JS code of these 2 plugins. You just need to update theme to fix.

How can I ensure that this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-ajax-filters/?utm_source=free_plugin&utm_medium=plugins&utm_campaign=ajax_filters works with sober? At the minute any ajax plugin I try and use will not load the product images correctly via ajax.
I cannot use the sober filters as they do not provide me with enough options to display my categories as needed (nested, expandable and also conditional).

Regarding your questions:
1. Yes, this theme does support the sticky header. By default, it is off. You can turn on this feature in the theme options panel.
2. You can add the product filters on the shop sidebar. They will be displayed on all shop related pages. But they can’t be displayed on blog pages and normal pages.
3. Yes, you can use a custom CSS to add the gif image as the background of the homepage.
4. You can use the [products] element of WooCommerce to display a 2×2 grid of products on your homepage.
4b. The theme always justified the product grid.
5. Yes, they are automatically added to products.
6. Unfortunately, ThemeForest doesn’t support a trial period for all themes.
7. This theme support the one-click import demo. You just need to import the demo content, you will have prebuild layouts. Then you can play with them to modify or build your own pages.
8. Yes, of course. It is supported by WooCommerce by default. You can use variable products to add sizes, colors, etc to your products.
9. You can have the color swatches on single product page and product quick-view only. They are not supported on the product catalog pages yet.
10. Product images will be cropped to the same size automatically. You can also change the thumbnail size in the settings.
11. Unfortunately, it is not supported.

Actually, there is no problem with the theme. In the recent update of WordPress (version 5.5), it made a big change in jQuery library and it causes errors to many plugins, including Revolution Slider and WPBakery Page Builder. But you just need to update these plugins to the latest version to fix the issues.
