I finally decided to upgrade to post 1.5 version of your theme but I am facing a problem.
None of the users can login to the page from the front end. When I create a new user I am redirected to dashboard (I selected so from settings). If I log out and then try to login I get the same error message “Wrong username or password”. Then I visit mydomain.com/wp-admin and using the same credential I can login.
You can find my staging site here https://bigdrop-server.eu/copy-greece-agg/
Please check those images, it is my settings on workscout core > registration. https://prnt.sc/ujqkbdhttps://prnt.sc/ujqkzg
So, to sum up. I can create new users but I cannot login using front end login page to any account.

Now I am able to login. But the problem is that I am unable to create a new user “Employer”.
Have you tried login with your username or your email? Because I see you have option enabled that username will be generated from email address. In any case you should still get confirmation/welcome email from your site with your access details.
I am able to login with my account. I am not able to create a new “Employer” account.
Can you try with ajax popup login? it’s in WorkScout Core -> Registration
My project is not related to employ, but I just found features that I need in the job themes and I liked your theme.
The project requires two profiles:
1) Buyers: Buyers can post their demands / listing for free.
With the possibility of paying to mark the listing as featured.
Only paying suppliers can see buyers’ names and contacts.
2) Suppliers: Suppliers need a free or paid plan to view BUYERS ‘contacts and send inquiries.
Suppliers can also register their products with simple information.
Would it be possible to do this with your theme? If so, would a complementary plugin be needed?
Would you have any other solution to indicate?
It would probably require some more or less complicated customizations, you won’t be able to do such site out of the box
Hi, Do you have any plan for the Mobile App, if yes then when can we expect?
Hi, no there are no plans for that
Hi team,
I was wondering if there is any solution to lock registration for employer or at least set it as pending when a new user want to register as an employer.
Thank you very much.
Hi
you can try with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/new-user-approve/
Hi! Is it meant to be like that that the overlay lays over the text: https://tinyurl.com/yxrjx9yo To me it would make more sense to put the overlay over the photo only and then have the text and other items on top of the overlay.
Hi, no, can you send link to that page? It’s some CSS issue
Thanks for your reply. I have sent you more information via email.
Hi,
When using our child WorkScout theme or the main WorkScout theme the dynamically generated inputs under the Experience and Education sections of the Upload Resume page are not editable on an mobile.
Parteek
It was fixed in latest update
Hi,
I am using your theme. How can i display jobs a candidate applied for in Candidate dashboard. Currently, by default on ‘Dashboard Page’ there is only a box with number of jobs applied by logged in candidate. How can i display list of those jobs a logged in candidate applied for?
I would like to make that box clickable to display all those applied jobs.
Thanks
If you have Applications add-on it’s shortcode [past_applications], you can even add it as page in WorkScout Core -> Pages
Hi! I have a pre-purchase question,
Is it possible to automatically approve employers to post a job based on certain criteria’s? For example: If part of the signup form for employers I ask for how many years they have been in business, then based on their answer (if they say more than 5 years) they get approved to post a job. Hope I made myself clear.
If not, do you provide the service to add this particular function?
Thanks in advance
Hi
there’s no such functionality out of the box, and we don’t provide customization services, but technically something like this could be added
Hi there, I just wanted to buy this theme, but noticed that there is a bug when trying to log in as an employer/candidate.
After having tried to log in through the pop-up login screen with the given details (username: candidate or employer and password: demo), a message shows up saying “Log In successful, redirecting…”, but once I’m “logged in” as an employer and tried to open the “Employer Dashboard” page or any other employer pages, I was logged out and automatically redirected to the log in page again. The very same happens when trying to log in as a candidate and trying to enter candidate only pages. Experiencing such a bug when having real visitors would be disastrous.
When I tried to log in after I was automatically logged out, I was not even able to successfully logged in. The log in page (not the log in pop-up) just refreshed itself and leaves one with an empty log in form.
I really like your theme and find you did an awesome job with creating it, but as this log-in issue is absolutely crucial for running such a site, I hope this bug gets fixed soon – please let me know when (roughly) this bug will get fixed. Thanks a lot and looking forward to purchasing and recommending your theme once this bug has been fixed.
Best regards
Hi
you mean you have that problem on our demo site? Try to access it directly https://workscout.in/ – I just tried it and it works the correctly, no issues like you described. What browser/system are you using?
Thanks for the quick answer and clarification! Just tested it through the link above, not on the demo site and it works perfectly fine. Had to laugh when I went through the employers messages and read “suka blyat” as a demo text haha – so spasiba, you did a great job on this theme and will have me definitely as a customer soon!
that’s user generated content on demo
we clear it from time to time, I guess it’s time now to do that
How can I customize this theme, via Elementor or WP Page Builder, or how?
Thank you!
Theme uses WPBakery Page Builder
Hi, i loved your theme, but, i would like to use it for other propose, not for job board but for education.
What i whant is to change, instead of list jobs i want to list courses from education institution.
Is that possible?
Hi
that depends on your requirements for that but it’s generally job board theme, not e-learning theme.
How can I update WPBakery Page Builder plugin?
You have to wait until we update theme with new version (soon) or purchase your own copy
Hi, can I add more (custom) search fields to your advanced search, like experience, age, etc?
That would require custom modification
- To be able to contact candidates through a contact form, instead of showing their email to employers. This, your theme provides.
- To have an advanced search/filters section where I can add my own custom fields for filtering. This is where your theme seems to be having a problem. Maybe if you just made your advanced search a taxonomy filter widget, it would be easy to just add fields to it?
Ok, will your team help me implement the custom modifications to achieve my goal if I buy the theme, at no extra charge, of course
? I just don’t understand why a theme would limit a functionality provided by a plugin.
customization at no extra charge?
really? sorry, we can’t help you.
In this particular scenario I think it is reasonable to ask for custom modification at no extra fee. Actually, I’m not asking for custom modification, but a feature restoration. This is how it looks like: wp job manager provides a feature, you take away that feature with your theme, then ask me to pay you to make a modification to get that functionality back. That’s why it doesn’t sound right to me. I expected you to just extend wp job manager’s search functionality, not limit it.
Take it as a feature request.
In any case since I’m not obliged to buy your theme, I’ll just look around at other options. If I find that your theme provides the best overall functionality for me, I will buy, otherwise I will go for some other one.
Don’t get me wrong, your theme is good. Just this one detail does not fit my needs. But I honestly think it should since the base plugin offers it.
Regards.
There’s no feature in WP Job Manager that would let you define custom fields and search by them
I intend adding more custom fields, either using this method or the field editor plugin: https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-field-editor/?in=1
Regards.
Field editor doesn’t have option to edit search form. And as our search is customized as it’s in sidebar, not like default WPJM search it requires a bit more changes, but it’s all possible to do if you can customize it in code. But there are no built-in tools to do it from options, that’s why I said it require custom modification
Understood. So is there an option to use your theme with the default wp job manager search system instead your custom search? I’m trying to evaluate my options if I choose to buy your theme.
Your theme has everything I need, except enough filters.
Not really
Ok, thanks
Fyi: workscout/woocommerce/cart/cart.php – version 3.8.0 is outdated. Main version: 4.4.0. workscout/woocommerce/myaccount/dashboard.php – version 2.6.0 is outdated. Main version: 4.4.0.
There will be update for that this week
BTW—I’m having issues on the demo front-end dashboard, can’t login
Hi, I just tried it and it works correctly
Hi,
We are looking for a complete solution to achieve the following:- 1. Publish/Update/Delete Jobs
- 2. Show candidates list without their contact info, only to people who have access to the link and not public on the website for anyone to access.
- 3.Create a template for successful candidates and automatically generate a work offer in PDF format to be sent by email or other platforms manually, most importantly is to make easy to generate that offer instead of typing it out for each candidate.
- 4. Add candidates info manually and attach with it photos, docs, and videos.
- 5. Can we use Elementor to customise the page?
- 6. Can we hide the option for employers to register and post jobs by themselves ?
- 7. Can we hide the option for candidates to create an account and instead have an easy apply form?
- 8. What database will this solution use? Can we use a cloud along with Wordpress database, just to be safe and avoid any losses.
- 9. Is this a plugin or theme? and if it’s a theme can we use our theme and make use of the functions you have in this them? or at least customise it with Elementor as mentioned in 5
Hi
Your requirements are pretty specific and afaik there’s no theme that would fit them all, so if you’re willing to customize it then WorkScout would be a good base for that, but it might require quite a lot of extra work
Hello, I have updated the wbesite and all theme. Still, there pop ups are not working?? Can you please advise
Can you share link to your site?
ajax pop ups are not working, please advise?
Make sure you have everything updated, theme in version 2.0.15 and all included plugins
Hello, for some reason the page templates aren’t showing in the drop menu? Any idea why this would be? I did the setup wizard as normal and had no errors and everything else is working correctly with the site.
Please contact us there and provide link to your website https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/support
Hi, my mobile menu has disappeared since I updated to wordpress 5.5. I have the latest version of workscout. Now the navigation menu in the header only shows on desktop, before there used to be the three bars in the corner to access the mobile menu.
I figured out it’s because I css’d out the div.right-side to remove the sign-in button. need to find a way to remove just that
