Since this theme stays it comes with Elementor and WP Bakery, can you just confirm before we purchase that the demo content works with WP Bakery, or is it designed with Elementor?

Thanks for taking an interest! Please note that the theme can be used with Elementor as well.
Native import method comes with WPBakery, so when you run import tool you will get WPBakery content, however, you can switch to Elementor and use it instead, all the same, shortcodes are included as well and you will be able to create your content using Elementor and our themes shortcodes.

Wonderful. We would be using WPBakery. Not too long enough I purchased a theme that claimed you could use both, but the demo content only worked with Elementor, so now I’m just being extra careful when I see both as an option and asking before hand. I’ve actually purchase two Edge themes in the past. They’re both great! Thanks for the help!

Hello, I have installed Goodwish theme and also imported the demo content by importing the .xml file. Everything looks good but when I click the preview button in shows 404 not found error and also the link in address bar shows wp-admin/post.php. When I switch back to Gutenberg editor, the error goes and everything works fine, when I switch back to WpBakery the problem appears again. Also, even the Wpbakery’s frontend editor cannot save any changes i bring.

Hi – the logo in the header has an alt tag that reads “light logo.” Seems like it’s hard-coded because the alt tag I ascribed to that image is the name of the organization. How do I fix that? We want the image to be labeled with the name of the organization, not “light logo.” Also, is there a way in your theme to turn off the visibility of the alt tag appearing on the screen? I’m asking this because I notice on other themes when I hover over images with alt tags they do not appear on the screen. It’s a distraction to have those labels come up on the screen. Thank you.

Error: No background image of a VC Row is shown in the frontend if a site was translated into an other language using WMPL. In the site preview the image is shown but not on the actual page itself. No JS or any error is shown in the web console. The parent site with the original text works fine, it’s just the translated site.
How can I fix this?

I do not want to use Events or Portfolio CPT of your EDGE CPT Plugin, If I disable that then even the settings area gets removed. Is it possible to disable only your CPTs?

When do you plan to test the plugin with the latest version of the Give Plugin and update if necessary? Currently the changelog says you support up to version 2.5.11 (from Dec 2019) but the plugin is now at 2.7.5 and to use any of the current versions of the add-ons (recurring, stripe, etc) you have to be on verison 2.7+. I don’t want to update the give plugin if it will not work with the current version of the theme again.

Thank you for responding. I am using the current version of your theme but I am still using version 2.6.3 of the Give plugin. I need to upgrade to the latest version of the Give plugin soon so I can update the Stripe and Recurring add-ons for security reasons, but I would like to make sure the theme will still work with the newest Give plugins. Our site is https://www.destinyinternational.us/ which works fine now with the older plugin and add-ons. Last time I updated the plugin too far ahead of what you said the theme was compatible with, there was a change in plugin that your theme pages could not handle so visitors could not donate. Just curious when you are going to update the known compatibility of the theme with the current version of the Give plugin.

Attempting to update to the latest theme version 3.1 via FTP. Break entire WordPress site, front and back end. Cleared local and server caches, still broken.
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 773 of the file /wp-content/themes/goodwish/framework/lib/edgt.optionsapi.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Class ‘GoodwishEdgeRepeater’ not found in /wp-content/themes/goodwish/framework/lib/edgt.optionsapi.php:773
Had to revert back to 2.5 to work again. Please advise.
