I purchased the theme and just about to update my website after a while, seems the wpbakery plugins is not active anymore. Any documentation I can use to update everything so I can edit my pages?

I purchased the theme a while ago and my site that had it installed was deleted since the hosting expired, now I am trying to install the theme but it wont let me, its asking me to de activate the theme from where I installed it but that site no longer exists, can you help me out deactivate the license of the theme linked to this account please?

I also have problems with the latest update of Wordpress 5.5 and the version of the theme of 24 August 20. In the administration Visual Composer does not work correctly and deletes elements. Also with Rev Slider the sliders are deleted if I update last. But if I deactivate The Fox and activate any other theme, everything works fine. The cache has nothing to do with anything.

How can we buy the theme afterwards so that we are 100% compliant and legit ? Do we need to register it and connect the registration to our existing website ?

You just need to buy the theme for every website that uses it but it depends how the sites have been built, then install the latest version you can download from themeforest and register the license. But for the update / registration please contact our support team under the “License registration” category, our team should be able to help you to make the transition.

I’m noticing issues w/ WP 5.5. First my nav on the front end didn’t work and my widgets were a mess. The twentytwenty theme however was fine. I removed my child theme for further testing and updated to the latest version of thefox. However, I eventually found that the admin area was having issues with the left column nav and widgets…the menu flyouts aren’t working and the widgets aren’t expanding.

Currently we don’t have any issue with the latest version of WordPress, try to disable all the custom plugins you are using and clear the cache after updating the theme to the latest version.

quick question…in the WPBaker Page builder, you TheFox has an option for tool-tips.. however, the font of the hover text is the same as the body of the paragraph, so you don’t know there is a tooltip there. Ca you tell me where to adjust this styling (maybe .css file)? thanks,

Hi, i transfered my website to a new URL. The fox theme appears to be licensed but WP BAKERY is not. I also don’t see any updates for the fox theme available. ( also not in the envato market plugin ) any idea?
sorry, in the envato app i do see “update available”—> but when i click on “update available” nothing happens. it’s as if the link is not working…
Are you using the latest version of the Envato market plugin?
https://envato.com/market-plugin/If it still doesn’t work, you can delete the theme and install the latest version you can download from themeforest.
Then go to Appearance > Install plugins to update the plugins.

Hello, The Bakery Page Builder is still broken after the The Fox update to 3.9.9.8.14 (supposed to compatible with WP 5.5). If I disable the The Fox and run a generic theme, everything works well. Thanks for looking into it.

I have updated the theme to 3.9.9.8.15 with WP 5.5. I installed the Enable Jquery plug-in.
Now the following things are happening:
(1) Bakery Page Builder is now visible (2) However, when I click to edit a block, it remains blank. No text is visible in the block.
On the other hand, the Enable JQuery plug-in gives the following error:

Even after disabling the error-related plugin, the following issues persist:
1). Once the text block on Bakerypage is clicked to edit, it does not show any text. 2). Within The Fox theme, colors palette is not showing. It just shows hex values. Earlier the colors were visible. e.g. under footer styling you could visually see the shade of the color in footer. Now it just shows HEX values. 3. .../wp-content/themes/thefox/js/upload.js:1:76: jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated warning still keep on showing when editing the Fox theme. 4) Bakery page option on pages disappears after disabling Enable JQuery Plug in.

If the plugin solved the issue, then one of the plugins you use is probably not compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

WPBakery Page builder plugin stoped working and asking to update the license. When I try to update they ask me to pay $52 . This is outrageous! I payed for this theme and it specifically said that I will get WPBakery Page builder license included no additional charges no time restrictions. Please fix this issue for both of my accounts and grand me with access to this plugin with auto updates.

Please update the theme to the latest version, then from appearance > install plugins you can update the WPbakery page builder.
If you still have issue with the plugin it is probably because of other plugins you are using that are not compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

I had to install the plugin to get it to work.Thanks. Updating the theme manually every time there’s a Wordpress update is very inconvenient.It would be easier if it was an automatic update.

Hi there, I just updated to Wordpress 5.5 and I noticed some issues that appear to stem from The Fox Theme. I am on a child theme for the record.
The issue is that the WPBakery Page Builder won’t appear when editing pages, even with having disabled Gutenberg in its General Settings area. When troubleshooting (using Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin), I turned off all plugins except WPBakery and used the generic Twenty Twenty Theme then WPBakery has no problem rendering the page builder. Both The Fox and my child theme would not work to show WPBakery.
Do you have any advice on how to get this working again? Thank you.
