Hi, I try to upload the theme on my wp installation, but every time I have this message – Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.

Deposit is part of the booking process if you set in theme admin a value of deposit. So it will be mandatory to pay it in order to confirm a booking. Money goest to site admin.

One further comment that I do want to make – after buying and testing this theme. Another shortcoming I feel is that after a booking has been made and confirmed – only the user that listed the unit can cancel the booking.
The booker is not able to cancel the booking. They can contact the owner but not cancel the booking outright. I would like to give the booker a way to cancel the booking as well – if of course the cancellation complies with the cancellation policy.
This would give the booker a lot more peace of mind when making a booking.
Would you please consider putting this on your development roadmap?

On the search results page when the property opens on the map the name of the property overlaps with the price. We use the from in the before label. We saw the reply and the code you have offered to another buyer but it does not work.

Im interested to know if I can used your theme to make a webiste that lets hotels list their properties and sell day access.

There is no actuall hotel room functionality required, its simple access to the hotel for a single day, with the option of an add on i.e. a meal.
I need to add a % margin that is hidden from the client (instead of flat booking fee ) and I need prices per adult and child.
I am happy to pay for bespoke customisation if required.

Thank you for writing. You need more like a ticket sell than booking because this site sells tickets. The booking we have wouldn’t help because you would need to sell multiple availability slots for a day.
I honestly don’t think how the theme can help (or what customizations would be needed). I wouldn’t be able to assist in this direction, but for sure the booking style we have wouldn’t help to this kind of sell access solution.

This is wonderful news that you have set this up – this should definitely resolve the issue. Just to confirm then – the user adding the listing then gets to include whatever cancellation terms they so wish? And then the user booking the apartment has to accept those terms when making the booking correct?

Hi Guys – thank you for this further feedback – I greatly appreciate it – and this is definitely a step in the right direction. My one concern however then – is if the user that lists the unit can input whatever cancellation terms they want – the best that you could say in the woo terms is that the cancellation terms mentioned by the owner of the unit apply. And I am not sure if that will be good enough. I will need to check how this holds up from a legal stand point in various territories. It would ideally be best – if there is someone way for the booker – to actually tick or confirm that they have read and UNDERSTOOD the cancellation policy.
Do you perhaps have an email address that I can contact you on so that we can chat about this further in a less public space?
Hi Robert, I understand you wish an explicit checkbox with terms that each owner sets for his listing. This is a request for which I am afraid I don’t have a solution.
The terms in WooCommerce checkout page are managed from wp-admin. You basically write the terms in wp-admin and those are shown as a checkbox.
The terms we have by listing is managed by owner but there is no check when booking the listing that shows the owner terms again and requests specific consent from user.

If I input max 4 guests to a property. It should come up if someone searches for 1,2 and 3 guests. It only shows in search results if 4 guests are selected. How to fix this please?

Hello, I need a dropdown function where I can select from three currencies as I enter a new listing. This is because the property owners base their agreements on currency of their choice. In our case; USD, Euro, GBP, and YTL (Turkish Lira) Otherwise, for the 500+ properties, with currencies that are highly volatile against the Turkish Lira, we’ll need to keep converting and changing prices regularly, which is not ideal.
There is only one person that enters the properties so it isn’t the owners that make the content entry.
It is okay if all the properties show only one currency in the frontend and work with the currency converter as it is. All I’m looking for is the option to enter a currency of our choice in content entry. Is this possible?

Hi uguroz, Thank you for the message. I have been thinking of the best possible way to manage this. The currency converter solution we have needs a default currency. That’s why we have 1 default currency – help https://help.wprentals.org/article/multiple-currency-widget/
You can add custom fields as well to show the price in different currencies. Or use the text fields (before and after price labels) to show different price as text (so you can add number and currency). But text is an independent value from multi currency widget.

Hi thank you for your response. Your proposed solution is great but it may not apply to what we are trying to accomplish. We don’t need the end-user to see the price in different currencies. We just need to be able to enter properties in multiple currencies, hidden from the end-user.
The website is currently set to GBP as base currency. Our goal is just to be able to enter the new properties in their owner-required currency type (USD, EURO, GPB, YTL). The front-end will show all the properties in one currency type, selected by the currency converter widget.

Hi, I understand. You wish an auto converted price to default currency based on your input currency. This is a complex change to apply and I honestly don’t know if / how such conversion solution could be integrated.
It would need a developer to research / quote this I am afraid. I cannot guide for this modification without previous experience on building such a feature. Hi Anna, I’ve been talking with Roxana about a serious problem with the latest version of the template: the search by date has bug that is confusing site users.
When clicking on “Check Out” and then selecting a date, it just doesn’t work. This behavior can be seen on your live demo. It’s already caused several users to reach out to us complaining that the site search doesn’t work. The bug is quite apparent.
1. Click on “Check-in” and select a date on the calendar. 2. Click on “Check-out” and try to select a date on the calendar. You’ll see it doesn’t work.
This needs to be fixed asap as out site visitors are not able to search our site for rentals.

The UX of this calendar requires to make the selection for both dates from the calendar interface (the calendar closes by itself when both dates are selected, and that confirms selection is correct)

Initially we had option 1. And users couldn’t use the check-out for select (just for view)
In the last update we enabled option 2 at the request to be able to use check-out to select as well.
I understand you actually use a 3rd option: select 1 date from check-in, the calendar doesn’t close, but you open the check-out calendar to select check-out. And if this is correct the date interval select is actually not complete unless the selection is made for both dates from calendar view.
If I misunderstand, please let me know the ticket to read the conversation as well.
For the option 3 I explained above which I hope is the same as what you test, the calendar script itself doesn’t have the behavior you expect (and this is a script pre-built – 3rd party).
In this case you see the calendar stay open until you select the date for checkout as well (the calendar staying open is a UX element designed to show customer selection is not complete)
But we save on wishlist your feedback to research further on a solution for this option. If you wish the theme version just with option 1, please let me know but clients feedback to this update regarding calendar has been positive.

Thank you Anna. It’s quite normal behavior that a person would click on check-in and then select a date, then click on check out and select a date. There is no instruction anywhere for the user to select both dates after clicking on check in.
On mobile phones this is not an issue because, the calendar will not close until they click on the checkout date – so they’re forced to figure it out. But on desktop/laptop it’s very confusing because if the user selects their check in date and then clicks on the check out field, then chooses a check-out date, their check-in date is then replaced with the check-out date.
This was not a problem before.
Probably the simplest solution is that once the user chooses their check in date, a message should appear within the calendar that says, “Now choose your check-out date.” I have provided a mockup in my ticket that you can see. That’s how Expedia does it for example.

I must be sure that the theme is good for my needs so i ask here ! (Sorry in advance for my english).
So my needs is to make a season rental website where there is just a single owner. This owner needs to add different accommodations types and manage booking from the website.
He wants the visitors to be able to look for accommodations and see their availabilities, prices, etc. but he don’t want them to book online. He just want to have a contact form on the accomodation page with check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, contact informations of the guest (name, e-mail, phone number) and a place to leave a message. He does not want visitors to need to create an account for that.
After that, he wants to make the booking directly with the guest and just use the website for manage his booking (without online paiement, billing or user/guest account).
So, he will have his real booking requests outside the website and he want to manually add it in the website just to manage and have an overview of his bookings and availabilities. So my question is : can i do that easilly with your WP Rental theme ?

1. The theme allows to disable submit and be a single owner.

1. Yes, we can ical export and import. You can export bookings made on wprentals through an ical feed generated for each property. You can also import different ical feeds from other platforms to block the calendar with bookings made on other platforms.

There is nothing to purchase.
Woo Commerce is used as payment processor (you can use this free plugin and it’s supported merchants to pay admin through other merchants than those included in the theme).
To add listings is part of the theme (not woo)
To pay Admin through the theme is also included and you can use PayPal or Stripe.

One more thing (Sorry, the client keeps mentioning new things every time we speak) They have cottages, each cottage is different. People rent specific cottages. It’s not like a hotel where you rent a room and they just assign you a room when you get there. Here, a person rents cottage #5 specifically. Which works well for them with bookings.com and vrbo. So each cottage has it’s own calendar that will need to be setup. Will I be able to do that through iCal and your site? Sorry to be such a bother. Thank you.
