Hey I would like to add a thin line of white at the bottom of my header because my main picture is close to the same color as header bg. Is there a way to do this? I selected to add the shadow to the header but it’s not really showing up. I am using material skin. Thanks Jen

You can add this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab:

Hello! https://litamation.com/privacy-policy/ has a freshly installed theme, and there is an issue when the page is loading, there is content like text, and logos being displayed without css before the page loader, and the content shifts/pops into place? What could be causing this so I can investigate?

IN your setup, the main theme stylesheets are loading outside the head of the HTML document towards the bottom. That is not the default location of the file and is what’s causing the issue. I sent you a message, I want to add that I did a fresh install again though on my local computer, and it appears that the stylesheets are still outside of the Head of the html…. No plugins.
Oh wait maybe not, just the <scripts> Im not seeing as many style tags.

Hello,
I currently have the “left header” as my navigation lay out on my website and i am trying to use a few pages as landing pages so the navigation doesn’t show up on those pages. I choose “no header” or “No header, No footer” page template and the menu links and content does not show, the thing is that the page still gets pushed to the right because the space for the left navigation is still there here is a screenshot of what im talking about.
is there a way I can remove that side space on certain pages so they act as landing pages with no menu?

Weirdly WPBakery has not noted in their change log that 6.4.1 was pertaining to hardening security – the new version of Salient was just released, which includes the updated WPbakery page builder.

I’ve been having some issues with formatting on the portfolio meta text. I would love to be able to customize the size of the hovered meta text when moving over things in the portfolio. It looks fine on the computer, although still slightly too big, but when it comes to mobile, the spacing gets messed up the further it goes down and the text is still too large. Is there a way to change the size and position of the meta data text overlay?
I tried searching through your support and tried following the instructions found on TICKET #1405999 but the code there did not help for me.

Amazing help thank you so much! I still have issues of the text moving around and not staying centered to the thumbnail on mobile devices, it seems as if the padding gradually increases as you get further down the portfolio on mobile so the text drifts down to the portfolio item below it until at the bottom it’s just off thumbnail entirely.
But being able to customize the text size is a MASSIVE help, thank you so much for your help!

I’m able to access your site from my end regardless of if wifi is active. Have you tried to temporarily disable your CSS/JS minification plugin and clear caching?

The plugin is not required, but it’s useful for increased performance. It’s possible that caching is playing a role in the issue. You could try another similar plugin such as to rule that out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/Salient theme is great but wpbakery sets the roof quite low. With elementor it would be awesome

I have tried this with all plugins except Salient Core deactivated and it still fails.

If you’ve already ruled out a plugin conflict, it’s possible that your server is blocking the request from a security feature. Since the number of options has increased, it could be above the “threshold” of your server. Can you please check your server error log to see what’s being logged about it?
