Hi,
I just noticed something really scary. I have 21 courses and 7 authors. An author complained, How can other authors edit, delete, lessons that doesn’t belong to them.
Why are the all the lessons available to all the Teachers? How can We restrict the teachers to view only their lessons, quizzes, assignments etc.
The courses works fine as It only shows the assigned courses to the author. https://prnt.sc/uvd9kx All the authors can view all the lessons, quizzes etc. without any ownership. The other authors can also edit, add and delete contents in the lesson. With our present “Co-instructor add-on for LearnPress”, the co-instructor can add/remove the lessons in the assigned course but cannot edit the course which doesn’t belong to him/her.

I am talking about LESSONS, QUIZZES, ASSIGNMENTS, Questions and NOT ABOUT “COURSES”
Why do you allow all the authors to view all the lessons? What logic allows you to show all the lessons? The author will plagiarize the lesson, It’s security violation and plain stupidity.
The author must be allowed only to view the lessons owned by the author. How do I get it? I don’t need all the authors to view all the contents. Some authors can buy some courses of other authors. This is unbelievable. I wonder Why no one complained about it?
Do you have a demo site, I will show you on your demo site. I repeat, The authors should only view the courses owned but Now all the authors can view all the lessons, edit, add and remove it also the courses that doesn’t belong to them.
How do I stop authors from viewing only their own lessons like in the course. I guess I made myself clear.

I didn’t mention courses, I am talking about LESSONS. All the authors are able to view/edit/add/delete all the lessons.
I don’t get it, How did you allow this and No one objected to it?

Co-instructor cannot edit the lessons from other authors. They can view the course and lessons but cannot edit the lessons which don’t belong to him/her.
If your co-instructors can edit all lessons and quizzes even which don’t belong to that co-instructors. Please send us an email to support@thimpress.com. We will check your issue.

The courses aren’t visible but the lessons are visible.
I don’t want anything visible to other instructors. They should only view their own contents. Other contents shouldn’t be visible to the owners only.
Some authors are also our customers. They should view or edit any courses except their own.

Thank you for the feedback, we will change the roles of co-instructor in the next version of that add-on. With the current version, co-instructors can view the whole courses but can only edit their own items.

I have same problem of user “webdreamsbg” I use WpBakery PageBuilder and if in page I use Thim Post Gallery element and I set to read post just for one category it doesn’t work (see here: https://prnt.sc/uv95c8). There are post of that category, but the element work only if I don’t select any category. Can you check if there is problem with this module?

I have problem with our website that has a thimpress theme ( www.esnch.org ) In the last week and a half, web has been attacked by viruses twice, although we have installed wordfence.
The virus enters through some of the plugins even though we have installed the minimum number needed for your theme to work.
Do you have any advice on what to do? Because this is very important website for a group of world neurologists. And when this happens the web is blocked with a password and visitors cannot enter the site.
We have currently solved the problem by restoring the backup but this is not a long-term solution so please any advice, web check or anything because this is second time in week and a half….

hello ! It seems that even if we set elementor as builder in personalizer options (general >> utilities >> elementor), the Thim Layout Builder remains with wp bakery for widgets. unfortunatly, I cannot fidn any documentation about it. Then, how can we fully use elementor instead of wp bakery ? did I miss something here ?

You only can use the page builder which you chose when you import the Demo. You can not change the page builder in general >> utilities >> elementor.

yes I can, but seems that it does not work. So basically, if demo has been imported with wpbakery, we’re locked with it ?! even if we build website with elementor, we have to keep wp bakery only for the widgets ?!

Yes. You only can edit the new pages (the pages you built with Elementor). The pages imported by Demo can be edited only by the page builder you chose.

ok I sent a mail to support. I’m a bit suprised about it, as it is not really support. Is you theme fully compatible with elementor ? if yes, theme builder widget should have elementor option, if not, just clarify it and confirm that theme builder widget work only with wp bakery. thx

You can install our “LearnPress Co-Instructors” add-on, you can find it in Dashboard => Course Builder => Plugins.

Hello, I have a very serious problem. It happens to me on two different platforms and it didn’t happen before.
When performing a search from a course page, the questionnaire search works well, but when entering the reading that said search returned, there comes the PROBLEM. I enter the lesson from the search page and it appears to me disconcerted, poorly designed, with a strange design, and IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO ME IN THE LESSON of the course as it should appear and as it was displayed before.

PS: I notice that the url changes when accessing from the search. I give you an example:

You can choose which page is your homepage by going to your Dashboard => Settings => Reading => Your homepage displays => A static page => Homepage.
