Hey! I cannot find the option to control the logo size and its veryyy small and when i seen your tutorial i have seen a slider that doesn’t exist on the version I am having now, What’s going on? I have also seen many people complaining of the same issue while something like that supposed to be simple!

there is an option in Theme Options > Header > Header and Navigation > Logo Max Height. As the name already states its a max height and might not apply 100%, that at least depends on the nature of the logo. For example, does the original logo contain a lot of whitespace or is very wide. Is there a way to have the portfolio showcase to where I can click the image and it just opens up a in a lightbox instead of going to the portfolio page? I like the function of the portfolio showcase but I just would like to have the images pop up in a lightbox.

Hi – im using Brooklyn theme 42. I have upgraded to the most recent version. Everytime i try to upgrade my php from 7.3 to 7.4, site breaks. This is incredibly frustrating. I recently completed a project for a client using theme 45 on php 7.4 without any issues. What needs to be done so that I can upgrade my php to 7.4 seamlessly?

Hi! I would like to know, when the version of WB Bakery will be updated as there has been a vulnerability reported and a security patch available, but not to plugins bundled with a theme.

this was already fixed and is ready for download. Since we have a modified version of the plugin, the version number is different. In our version history the issue has been addressed with version 5.8.5. You can find this version inside the download package as well as per auto updater when the theme is licensed etc.

Hello, you can manage this in the Showcase/Portfolio settings. You have to select the React Carousel for this.

please have a look at Theme Options -> Advanced -> Manage Preloader.
There you can find all preloader settings that are supported by our theme.
For the Revolution slider you have to look in the settings of the slider itself.

Whats very disappointing about this Brooklyn theme is that the menu does not show up in mobile version. You buy a product, you expect it to be fully functioning to 100%, not 90%. Now I am being asked to pay additional money to extend my license to get additional support for a defective product. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I saw some similar issues on the web by other users.

Hi UT, normally, I would get notified for a newer update but in this case, it never asked me to updated the theme. How do I get it updated? it is not running that version.

An auto updater is available with a later version of the theme. You need to update manually first.
The easiest way to update the theme via FTP:
1.) log in to themeforest
2.) go to your downloads section
3.) download all files (you will automatically get the most recent version)
4.) unzip
5.) upload the “brooklyn” folder into the following folder on your FTP server wp-content/themes
6.) after you have uploaded the entire folder the theme itself is up to date
7.) go to “Appearance” -> “Install Plugins” and hover each plugin name, if a link appears which is called “update” hit this link to update the plugin
Done!
Now go to Brooklyn > Licensing and activate the theme for future updates. However, before attempting any updated, please make an entire site backup.

Usually not, except you update from a very old version such as 2.x or 3.x it can cause issues. So make an entire backup before updating as written above.

Hi guys i think you need to sort out your shortcode plugin, it brings a whitescreen on the frontpage while all other pages are working fine. when deactivate it. the frontpage works but the page is broken. it might be the PHP version 7.4 compatibility issue , not sure but i suspect that is the case. Good luck

Indeed, it took me up to 48 hours to execute. i have started with setting wp debug to true on WP-config file and started to go around forums and looked at all possible cause of the blank screen. i tried so many methods. till i found the solution. it required a bit of effort.
I’m sorry but this isn’t working at all. Just bought the theme and everything feels terrible with Elementor even though it is supposed to work together. Also, the documentation is very outdated and short. Some options have changed names (e.g. header section is impossible to follow since the option to activate it is not even in the list that is on your older screenshots).
I have bought a lot of themes over the years and have to say I am fairly dissapointed after having paid such a huge price. I am unfortunately deinstalling and going back to an older one that is not as nicely designed as BKLYN. I have to give it to you, the visuals in the demos are very good looking – but it’s unfortunate that the system behind the actual site is not as advertisted.

sorry for the late response. We must have missed the message. The Theme and Elementor do work together but the demo are build with WP Backery. Currently, we don’t have plans to migrate them to Elementor. But WP Backery is not that bad, because we designed all those nice demos with it. So in the end, you still get the nice design which is editable very easy as advertised on our demo page. Maybe you should give it a try.
