Hi there, this theme looks awesome. The only problem I see for my usecase is that the logic regarding the music releases is focused on albums rather than on individual tracks. I only release single tracks and no albums. Can you show me a way that I can use the theme to present single tracks (that each have a cover and a description and can be directly previewed) instead of albums. Or do you have another theme that has this ability? Thanks in advance and best regards!

I dont have any example, but many customers have used soundrise like you want. I mean set one track per playlist.

I just spent two days trying to figure out why my soundrise theme stopped working. According to this list at the top of your theme page “See the Changelog” I already had the latest version, 1.5.4. But, I just found, at the bottom of your main theme page, a different changelog that says the current version is 1.5.6! Also, we did get the notification email for the update to 1.5.4 sent on Aug 18, 2020 but did not receive notices for 1.5.5 or 1.5.6.
I hope you can fix this soon so others aren’t wasting their time…

We have 3 sites using the Soundrise theme. After updating to 1.5.6 the social media “FOLLOW” links (“Social” on the edit page) on the artist pages only show one social media link even though there are several saved. We have not customized anything in this theme. Is this a bug?

Actually, does not look like a bug in our code as I see it because I can’t seem to reproduce the issue on my end..
So in order for me to check and investigate into the issue, I need to see and inspect your website to know what is wrong exactly. And for this, I need you to open a support ticket.

All I know is that it was working before and the update broke it. Nothing else changed on our 3 sites that use this theme. In light of the issues we had in the last few days with the lack of notification of updates and 3 broken sites due to updating wordpress to 5.7 I’d think you’d want to sow some good will. I’ll discuss with my boss if he wants to keep using this theme.

As I said before, we have been running these themes without any customization. These links worked in 1.5.4 and all we did was update to 1.5.6. Still seems like a bug to me…

That did fix it. But, there was nothing about this in your docs on updating this theme. You might want to mention this plugin by name as there was no indication (either in your docs or on the WP plugins page) that this plugin needed updating from 1.6.3.
I gotta admit that the last week or so of dealing with all these issues has caused a lot of wasted time.

We have come across another issue with this theme. It seems that the “iron_widget_radio playlist_enabled” section is being added to “playlist” pages even when there are no tracks added to the page. Some of our playlist pages use an embedded player from bandcamp, etc. These pages were working fine in 1.5.4 but now, when saving the playlist page, even when no changes are made to the playlist page, there is a non-functioning player inserted onto the page (the iron_widget_radio section) creating whitespace.
Please advise.

Please delete soundrise-music plugin and go to wp-admin>appearence>install plugin And re-install it.

I did as you indicated and while the non-functioning radio player is now gone, the extra space between the page title at the top and the embedded player is still there.
This empty space is indicated in the rendered code as “iron_widget_radio playlist_enabled”

We will release a new theme update today to fix this issue.
This did fix the issue. But, we were not alerted to the update and your changelog link at the top of your “item details” page is still out of date compared to the “alternate” changelog buried at the bottom of your “item details” page, an issue I thought you were going to fix from a few weeks ago.

I administer our mail server. We did not get an email and your link to the changelog STILL says the latest version is 1.5.6.
Thanks to keep us informed about your situation. Maybe you have to clear the browser cache, because the changelog link has been modified. And about the email notification, I have asked to two random customers and they have both received the notifiction. I will keeping an eye on this.

My apologies. The alert emails are sent to my boss and he recently changed the email address to which they are sent. After looking through the server logs for that domain I found all of the emails sent since version 1.5.4. As for the changelog, I see you merely changed the link to point to the “alternate” changelog at the bottom of your main page.
So, sorry for all of that. I appreciate that you did fix the one bug I did find.

Hi! I’m seriously considering buying your “SoundRise” theme. But I have a few questions that are very important to me. 1) Is your theme suitable for an online music store? 2) Can I add music play buttons at the top of the cover in the “Store Online” section? 3) Is it possible to disable the automatic playback of the track when starting the site, while the player should be visible at the bottom. 4) Is it possible to make the label “Sold” appear on the track after it is sold? 5) Does your player have a playback count? Is your theme suitable for what I need? Or would you recommend one of your other theme? I will be glad to receive any of your answers! Thanks!

Here some of your answers: 1) Yes, the theme is compatible with WooCommerce which is the most popular ecommerce plugin for WP. 2) We dont have this feature sorry. 3) Autoplay is now banned by most of modern browser. this is technically not possible to automatically play a track on page loading. 4) This would require custom development by a WP developer. 5) People usually implement Google Tag Manager to track statistics. This might require a WP Developer to implement this for you.

In the bio on the ThemeForest website, you state that electronic Press Kits can be made available via the template, however, when checking out the demo, I was not able to find a section that permitted this.
Also, does the template allow for more generic pages? I am wanting to promote a different element of my business on the website, and while the template has all the other elements I’m looking for, I’m not seeing one that permits a more generic information page

Hello Mike, Soundrise doesnt built Presskit, but a Presskit page is part of our demo content. So it is easy for you to share presskit files, but you have to create them on your side.
And no worries about generic pages. You can do almost everything you want with the page builder WPBakeyr included and required with Soundrise.

Hello, Recently in one of my page, I see max 4 posts displayed, where is used to be 10+.
Other pages that use Essential Grid doesn’t have any bugs. I realize tho, that I cannot use some Essential Grid functionalities anymore (some settings, tabs, links don’t work anymore. If i click on it, nothing happen.)
I don’t see any errors in the console nor in the Wordpress Admin section. I know that there is a new EssentialGrid version that works better with WP 5.5
I would like to understand if that could be one of the reasons why my page doesn’t work has it used to be before upgrading the plugin. Did you notice similar issues in other sites?
My SoundRise theme is version 1.3, If I need to upgrade it (as I read in other comments here), do I need to buy a new version? I cannot find a “upgrade” button anywhere in WP admin.

And if in that case, you would recommend to upgrade the whole theme or just Essential grid.
Hi, Many updates are required since wordpress 5.5, even for wordpress 5.6. You have to update Soundrise. When it is done, please go to wp-admin>appearance>install plugins. Having an issue which someone else reported on in the comments. I followed the information you replied to them with before posting here (Since wordpress 5.5 many update are required. Please update Soundrise to 1.5.4 And go to wp-admin>appearance>install plugins And update all required updates)
So basically, wpbakery works on the theme but you go to edit home page in bakery and its not showing. If I switch off essential grid plugin it works but otherwise it doesn’t. On classic view if I click text I can see the code for bakery in the square brackets and from the front of the website it is fine. If I click backend editor it does not respond. I am on wordpress 5.6, soundrise 1.5.4, bakery 6.5.0 and essential grids 3.0.7
I have done all the usual like revert to wordpress theme, switch off all plugins and activate one by one, essential grid plugin is definitely the issue. Like I say, website running fine but I cannot update the home page with bakery which is a problem.

Can the shows page be edited to show date, then event title, then venue+city (currenty city then venue) then the band in that bubble at the end? How would this be edited please?

Hi. I am having issues with the blog/news page on my site. I have added the demo content then I imported my blog news from my old site. On the demo it looks great in the news-lists version but its not working for me and I cannot see what I am doing wrong. Can you advise?
