I have given the demo site a go, and what a great looking theme! I realise from another comment reply that the ability to have a sticky player as the user moves between pages is being investigated, but this would be the one feature that would stop me from purchasing. A minor additional feature I didn’t see is a compact list of episodes.

We’re investigating the non-stop player feature, although it is hard to implement it according to WordPress standards and requirements. Of course, if we do implement that feature sometime in the future, it would have an on/off switcher.
Regarding the compact list of episodes – Of course, you can create it. Do you want to have it on a separate page or inside the front page?
You can always create an episode archive page just by choosing your blog page in your Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays > A static page.
After that, if you have a blog as well, you’ll follow this procedure here, to separate the blog posts from standard episodes:

Thank you for the follow up. Yes, the compact episode list would be for the front page. Also, I mis-typed about the ‘sticky player’. This is definitely a feature which I would want. But I understand that this may be difficult to implement.

Regarding the episodes area – No problem. You can navigate to your Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Front Page > Episodes area > Number of episodes per page > Custom number, and you’re able to add a maximum number(per page). For example, if you set 10 as your desired number of episodes, you’ll have 10 items on the page inside the pagination. If you want, you can display them all by turning the pagination off in Theme Options > Front Page > General > Pagination, and by setting the max number of episodes to 100, for example.

2 Questions: Can the player be placed at the bottom of the page all the time? Basically I want the player to stay while the user moves around the site. Once they start an audio, I do not want them stuck on that page if they want to explore, can this theme provide that? And last question, will this work with Elementor?

Regarding the player – We don’t have such a feature currently. Similar feedback is already forwarded to our product team, and maybe we will add such a feature with one of the future updates.

The player can be downloaded for free, on this link here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/meks-audio-player/You will be able to use all its features only with Roogan and Megaphone. Its style and functionality vary, depending on the theme you’re using. For example, the player can play videos as well if you’re using Roogan.

Hi. I can’t seem to get the next audio “episode” to play automatically anywhere in your demo. Am I missing something? or do you have to click play on every episode you want to play? I’ve even tried from within a “Show” page list but that didn’t work either. I really like the theme, but this function is really needed. Thanks!

Continuing to play episodes while visitors navigate the site isn’t possible. The web is stateless, so as you navigate to a new page new ‘state’ is created. For something like that you need a special site that will load all your content with JavaScript and AJAX.

Actually I’m referring to playing the next track, like a playlist. Not talking about while navigating the site. I mean playing a track, then the next one, next one, etc

1. We didn’t test this stream with the Roogan theme, and I can’t find any Icecast streams audio or code embeds to test it. Can you send us on the support ticket some link to your audio on Icecast and I’ll test if it works with our theme?

Hi! Thanks for the guidance. I did the test on the demo provided by you. The download icon is displayed, however it only works within the episode post. On the home page, the download is an html file. Another observation is that Chrome is presented the error “The editor has encountered an unexpected error” when editing or adding a post. On firefox it works well. I really like the theme and want to buy it. I believe these adjustments are simple to make, right? A new question: is the template compatible with Elementor? Congratulations on the work!

Also, there is no timestap block available. You guys are smart, whenever you have a page with a timestap block you send users to a custom link on your servers.
I am overall disappointed with this theme. The documentation barely covers anything, I just spent hours trying to figure out how to make this theme work.

To have a page to list your episodes you can set Blog page archive in Settings -> Readings -> A static page -> Posts page.
About timestamp block, you need to have the latest WordPress version and you will be able to use that block.
Not sure what you mean by: “whenever you have a page with a timestamps block you send users to a custom link on your servers”?
Did you click something to send you on our server? If that happens please contact our support team with a detailed explanation so they can find the reason for that because we don’t have the intention for that.
Basically, audio examples are hosted on our server, so when you remove our imported demo content there are will be nothing to point out on our server.

Curious if this theme supports Youtube videos as well? My current theme will display a thumbnail or video depending on the post. I have a small podcast network with many shows having video as well. Love the look of this theme, but wouldn’t want to hamstring my site.
