How can I see how a ads is uploaded and I want to make sure that all ads oked/checked before they would go live.

With respect to your query here, with the Listify theme you can see how the listing ads are summited by users via the frontend through our demo here. Once the listing is submitted the site admin verifies the the listing by either approving it or disapproving it. As it stands we do not have a demo for the backend to show you this.

Hello, I’m a beginner with wordpress and I think your theme is perfect for my needs but before to purchase it I have some questions.
I need a theme that uses posts as database and could be searched with internal searching engine system and classified by post categories. The posts will be linked videos from YouTube. I would like video previews (thumbnails) to appear on the home page. Are possible these features?

With respect to your query here, the Listify theme (See Demo) is a listing directory theme that showcases different listings. It does have a custom post type named “Listings” for that specific work other than the normal posts section on WordPress. With the Listings section you can group your listings based on category and their location as well. You can also add videos within the listing you need to showcase, but use a featured image on the archive pages, homepage and search results page. There is no functionality to display video previews on the thumbnails.

is there a demo of Extended Location plugin? i need Near Me to be my default

With respect to your query here, the main listify classic demo do use the extended location. Simple clicking on the location compass icon under the search bar which will prompt you to allow the site to detect your location. Here is a doc explaining how to enable auto location.

Am interested in buying your theme but i have some few questions:
1. I would like to hide author profiles of users who register to post their adds on the site and show only one profile on all all ads regardless of who posted the ad. Is this possible?
2. If am able to change the author for all ads to a default one (refer to question 1), can i also send all direct messages to the default author i set up?
3. Can i sell products like phones, laptops, etc where users can actually checkout on the site?

With respect to your query here,
- You could just remove this widget from the listing page. Alternatively you can use the widget visibility plugin to show/hide the author profile widget depending on the role.
- You can use our Private Messages add-on. This will keep all messages internal and will require users to be registered. There is a free option where any Guest user can send an email to the Listing owner no account required.
- You can link products to the listings you create using the WP Job Manager – Products plugin, see this doc for more insight.

EX: I get 3% comission in any service booked through the website. 3 – Is there an option to change the currency automatically based on which country the listing is based on? 4 – Is there an option to have listings based on the person’s IP? EX: The person is from Ireland so the first carrousel of listings it sees on the homepage is only with listings from Ireland, 5 – Is it possible to have automatic delivery taxes with an input adress? EX: Someone want’s to order food so the restaurant can charge Food + Delivery. 6 – Besides email, is there an option for SMS notification? 7 – Is there any Pop-Up built in plugin in the theme that I could trigger with specific actions from the user?

With respect to your query here,
- You can limit the amount of listings a user can create through creating listing packages using the listing payment plugin. The plugin allows to charge users also to create listings while also restricting how many listings they can create. However, you can not limit them based on categories.
- Yes, you get some commission using the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin. It has the option to earn a commission from products Listing Owners create.
- You can use any currency with Listify! The WooCommerce plugin does allow you to choose multiple currencies for your website however not based on location.
- As it currently stands, this functionality is not possible.
- This is something based on the Woommerce. It should show depending on how you setup taxes on your website. Within the theme there is none.
- Unfortunately, as it currently stands there is no integrated feature to provide an option for sms sending. Implementing this would entail some custom work.
- This fuctionality is also not available as it ma equire custom work to achieve it.

Hello, I use mapbox, but there is always a notification saying I haven’t entered the google map api key, and so certains features will be disable. Is mapbox works as well as google map? Is it work without google api? What are these feature? Thank you

With respect to your query here, we use MapBox as alternative. Mapbox is a service that uses a platform called “Open Street Data” to display maps. It does not provide services to lookup geolocation data based on an input location directly, which is what Google Maps is used for. You need to insert the Mapbox access token. There is a setting within Appearance>Customize>Listings> Map Settings. Where you can enable Map Box. See here for more info here.

Hi ! Questions before eventually buying this :
I’d like to create a directory website with 3 different subscription plans (for businesses who want to have their listing), and with each plan giving access to a different listing view on the frontend (for instance, the free plan will show only a line with basic details, the “pro” plan will show the listing with more infos, etc…). Is this possible ?
And second : if somebody is on a free plan, can he switch to another plan ?
And finally : can we set the subscription plan to allow the creation of, let’s say, 3 listings (each in different categories, f.i.) ?

With respect to your query here, you can create listing packages that are subscription-based but you will need both Listing Payments and WooCommerce Subscriptions to create recurring packages.
Users can always upgrade to another plan if they wish to.
Next, you can limit the number of listings users can create but this is not based on categories. Please see the doc here.

Hi! i need refund for the theme….how do i apply for it …....just a couple of hour ago i bought your theme , i’m not satisfied with the theme ’’ almost every features is premium , which i cannot afford to buy (that include social login is 79usd $, Listing payment 29 usd$, even no option for claiming the listing )...... i didn’t knew that before purchase’’ please please please let me know the procedure for refund….....

With respect to your query here, Unfortunately, Listify does not support the WCFM Woocommerce Front End Manager. Right now we only support using WooCommerce extensions like the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin. Kindly note that Listify is designed as a Directory theme. Unfortunately it is not designed to be a Marketplace theme. At least it does not have ALL the components to be a complete marketplace. I would recommend that you check out our Vendify theme which also uses Product Vendors plugin as a marketplace site.

Is it possible to set an automated email to the listing email / owner when a new submission is created that provides a link to their listing, and information about how to claim it and what they can do with it?

With respect to your query here, you would need to custom code for this function or perhaps a custom plugin that works with a mail service like Mandrill, Mailchimp, Sendcloud so when a new submission is made, it sends out a custom email to the listing owners asking them to claim their listings, this is not currently possible with our theme and plugins. However, by default the theme does have a section whereby after a user submits their listing, they still have to claim it, or someone else can claim it. It’s up to the admin to confirm the actual ownership.

9. Is this suitable for advertising complex/ technical items such as cars and boats which have multiple fields and specifications? or just for simpler items such as bars/ restaurants?

With respect to your query here, yes you can use the theme to display all types of items. If you need to add additional custom fields to your specific listing we always recommend using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin to include custom field for your listings.

- All the listings are displayed in maps on the search page to identify their location You can toggle full screen map view also. Please see the demo here. For the Single listing page, you can view the map in full screen by clicking the fullscreen toggle of the map. Please see the demo here.
- We respond to support tickets within 24hrs. Urgent tickets may be responded to more faster. However we are not available during the weekends.
- We do offer refunds as per the Envato Refunds Policy. See how refunds work here.
- There is support for WooCommerce products, where they are shown on the listing pages. Users can add the same product to any listings that are created. Here are some docs to guide you on this: Linking Products, Sell Products
- Yes, you can add a video link which will display the video anywhere on the Single Listing pages body. See the demo here.
- Within the new updated we mainly integrated Elementify into the theme, of which provides support for Elementor in the theme. I would recommend checking out our blog post here for more details on this: Elementify Doc.
- Right now we do not have the ability to use Open Street Maps.

I have thousands of listings I need to import, when doing this I need to set the geo-location details during the import. I can use a tool like WP All Import and select the relevant custom post type, but can you tell me if it is possible to set the location during the import? If not then this theme is no good for me. With respect to your query here, you can perform a bulk import using the free WP All Import plugin and the free Listify WP All Import Add-On which allows you to import listings that are stored in an XML or CSV file. Please see the doc here. However, you will still need to enter the geolocation data either before or after the import is done. Apparently, there’s no existing way to set the location while the import is happening.

With respect to your query here, the site users can search by postal code on the location field to return results near the postal code. If any listings are within the radius settings, you will see results!
Next, any user can add his or her own listing within the site depending on how the site owner has set his options. You can favourite a listing which will be marked as your favourites but you may have to have an account for this.

Most users of my website have an iphone and prefer to use the appli “Plans”. So If I understand, it’s not possible ?

With respect to your query here, we have not done any tests on how our theme can work with the above said “Plans Application”. We only focus with websites at this time. However, even though our theme is well responsive and works well in any device environment including iPhones. Your users will easily be able to navigate across your site with the theme and also integrates well with Google Maps mobile application.
