There is a bug in the current version of the photography theme related to child themes. I tried to file this as a support ticket but my support has expired.
In line 611 of `functions.php`, there is the following code:
wp_enqueue_style('photography-childtheme', get_template_directory_uri()."/style.css", false, "", "all");However, `get_template_directory_uri` returns a path to the parent theme, not to the child theme, which means that the child theme’s `style.css` file won’t get loaded. Changing this line to
wp_enqueue_style('photography-childtheme', get_stylesheet_directory_uri()."/style.css", false, "", "all");resolves the issue.

Please make sure you clear all browser cache. It seems to be issue from your end.
That last update really messed up my galleries. All of my plugins are updated, the theme is updated, Wordpress is updated, cache is cleared. I had them in columns of 4 and centered. The are now in columns of 3 and off center. I don’t always size my photos to the exact same size when I upload and it’s never been a problem viewing them in the lightbox. Now when I view the photos, some are huge and out of screen and others are small. Is there a fix coming for this?

Hello, I just tried to install the most recent update. I get an error message stating: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme installation failed.”
Tried downloading and installing with a fresh zip file. Did not work neither, same error

Pre-sales question: Hi, how can I create an overview page with multiple albums/galleries showing a thumb, title and short description and sorted by date? After clicking the thumb or title you open the gallery and you can view the album. And you should then be able to return to the overview page. Can you explain the difference between a portfolio and a gallery (I’m not native English, to me it seems the same thing). When do you use portfolio and when a typical gallery template? Hi, I need a gallery archive that includes gallery title, date and description, and showing directly under the thumbnail/image (not by hover). Eg when you have multiple wedding albums, each one will have a title and short description. Looking more or less like blog grid. I can’t find an example in the demo site?
Gallery archive doesn’t display date automatically. However you can add date info to gallery excerpt text too.

So we activated theme for you successfully. You didn’t ask to install demo contents previously.
Now you can select demo you want to import from Theme Setting > Demo Content.
I have three open tickets and noone is responding?! I have been asking for the demo content and they are not there – the one page and others are missing. When I click on the styles nothing is happening except a page full of the menu options? I have uninstalled all plugins and still nothing. Please can someone respond to my support tickets that have been open for days now?

Our support staff replied you yesterday. Usually we don’t reply on weekend so it might take some time. It seems like you open 3 tickets for the same question. So we wii reply only on 1 ticket.
Also as I explained earlier. We have multiple demo options which you can select and import it from Theme Setting > Demo Import. NOT Theme Setting > Styling.
Peter – yesterdays response ( to my request from friday) was ‘do you want me to fix it’ – I said yes immediately and then never heard back until you answered the old ticket from Thursday which had already been fixed. I appreciate you ‘explained earlier’ but you have not read the original ticket which was saying that the demo import was not working properly – that was what I needed your assistance with? Hello again, now as I updated Wordpress and the Theme the Portfolio function ist not working anymore https://www.konfettiundliebe.de/galerie/. The page only loads 20 Portfolio previews (I chose to show up to 50 -the max.) and shows the loading animation underneath. If I klick a portfolio category at the top – it just blurs everything instead of filtering.
Would be amazing if you can help me out again.

Hi, thanks for your advice. It works somehow – but there are still some issues with the portfolio. As you see …the lowest 4 portfolio items (that load later) have a different style (they don’t the portfolio name on hover – instead the name is underneath and you see an arrow on hover). Do you know what is the problem? Is it a bug in the theme? ..or can I change this problem anyhow? Thanks for your great support.

For example at the page http://www.konfettiundliebe.de/ueber-annika/ should be a parallax picture with flowers at the top (you even can see it in the code) but it doesn’t show up anymore. Can anybody help me?

Hello, Yes, the menu is activated. Changing the settings does nothing. It does not appear on the desktop version of the site. I tested it in 4 diff browsers, it only shows inside the Visual Editor. This happened suddenly, after the 2nd to last update. Works on mobile, not on desktop. I had to change the menu to another option to keep the navigation working. Is there something else that would cause this?

When choosing 4 columns with the Portfolio Grid the font is uppercase by default by hovering over it. Is it possible to change the weight and style of the typography there? Can’t find this in the customizer. Customizer changes work only with 2 and 3 columns.

Hi – My site uses non-transparent menus. On most of the pages I have an option for this. However, on the event pages the menus are transparent by default, and there is no option to turn this off. Please could you let me know how it is possible to do this? Thanks
