Hi, I update the theme but the link for Blocks in the admin panel is missing. Any idea how to fix it so I can see the blocks link? Thanks.

How do we get the main header on all the inner pages (about us)? I cannot find how to do this anywhere.

I fixed the issue by deleting the footer elementor template I created, but now the footer blocks are not updating when I edit and save them.

The porto single product elements are also now missing in elementor. Why? If you going to update you could atleast warn us this will happen? Just lost 4 days of work and I pay for support that takes so long to reply. I would like the fixes here please.

Why are my product images all missing since update? And why has your update over riden my custom css in the porto panel? Every time you do an update you break my site!

I have just checked your sites and both are working perfectly fine, there is no such issue of product images missing, please check the below-given screenshots and try to check your sites after removing the site and browser cache.

And I am sorry but that was the Major update and the Major update includes many new options/features and designs as well, so for security purposes and avoiding any inconvenience you should have to take the complete backup of your site before running the automatic update of the Theme.

So run the backup of your site, and then follow the instructions written in the below-given article to update the Theme on your site, I am sure it will work for you and it will not override your Custom CSS in Theme Options as well.

hello, I just purchased the Porto Theme. Installed the Demo Shop 4, The home slider is messed up, images are whitened from center, moreover there is no Register button, whislist icon doesn’t appear, while “My Account” icon is lighter in color.

1.) I need to add additional images for variation products. What plugin do you recommend that will work well with this theme? I have tired a couple but they have changed the page layout.

Variation images should also be able to change with quick view swatches

2.) Is there a way to have a different single product layout for mobile and desktop version ?

1. Sorry to say that but we have not officially tested any of the third-party plugins with our Theme for this reason so we are unable to suggest you in it, you can google it and try with any third party plugin which better meets your requirements.

2. No, Sorry to say that but this is not possible as there is no such option in our Theme for this, this requires customization. Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend to contact our customization team or hire a developer.

That Newsletter Popup has been made using Blocks and then that Block has been used on Home Page using the Modal Dialog Box element, please edit your Home Page and then turn ON the navigator, now find the Modal Dialog Box into it, and edit it, you will find the shortcode of the Block set under it:

If you want to change the content then you have to go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Blocks and find and edit the particular block and change anything from there as per your requirements:

Installed Porto theme. Most of the demo content hasn’t pulled though, everything up to date. please stop fobbing me off and fix this!!!!

You have the issue with your server, which does not allow the upload the images from site pages or plugins and this is because of the file permission or some sort of server restrictions issue, which can only be solved by your hosting provider, and we have shared with you all the screenshots and a video explanation and solution as well as showing below:

This is a pre sale question : I have a large size online shop (10000 products), thinking in upgrading to Porto, but this large size shop with thousands of photos, lead us to a host problem because of the numbers of files /inodes stored. With Porto is it possible to control/setup the number of resizes image files generated by the theme. Thanks

Please read my reply again, And Regarding Theme generating Image Sizes, Please add the following code in the child theme’s functions.php.

Please add “remove_image_size” functions with the image sizes to remove in … position in the upper code.

So please follow the below listed debugging processes one by one, I am sure it will help you in solving your issue:

|.   Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
||.  Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
|||. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
|V.  Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V.   Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it

I just installed Porto, after not having used it for 3-4 months, i loaded a demo and the “BLOCKS” section is gone from the admin menu, i dont see it anywhere. Where can i find it? Also, with Elementor demo installs, how do you change/edit/delete the newsletter pop up box. I see the links you share on here for the WP Bakery edit of the pop up but i cant find any info on how to edit the pop up for Elementor installs. Thanks.

Thanks for your support even though my support period has ended. I appreciate that. I’ll be sure to pick up another 12 months of support after I’m done typing this out.

I was not aware that the Blocks menu item on the main Wordpress admin menu had been removed and blocks had been moved to Porto > Template Builder. As I said, I had not used Porto in 3-4 months and last I recall Blocks had their own link in the main Admin Dashboard Menu. I will update to 6.0.1. and see if Blocks appear in the template builder because as of right now they are not showing. Thanks again for your help.
