we are currently using metronic and must say it is a great theme. Very much suggested to everyone.
Just one quick question regarding the KTDatatable plugin (not datatables.net, but own metronic’s one).
Is it possible to somehow generate custome footer in the table? Very simple one, just put custom column names for the footer. We are using a table generated from HTML (https://preview.keenthemes.com/metronic/demo9/crud/ktdatatable/base/html-table.html) and trying to find out how to add custom footer.
If setting var datatable = $(’#kt_datatable’).KTDatatable({ layout: { class: ‘datatable-bordered’, footer: true, }, it just duplicates the columns from header. Although our html code does include the <tfooter> tag. But the plugin seems to ignore it and just puts the column names from the <thead>

Sorry for the inconvenience. At the moment, the KTdatatable plugin does not support custom footer. If you enabled the footer, it will copy the header as footer.

Since Metronic v7.1.5 update the precompiled assets folder is no longer included. In the download package only the source files are included and the assets folder must be generated. by using the build tools so in order to launch the theme you will need to generate the “assets” folder from “src” folder by installing the build tools and running the build tasks in command line.

visual studio code kullanmıyorum. template vs code a göre düzenlenmiş. normal visual studio net core mvc kulanıyorum. ben bu temayı tek tek ayıklayacaksam işime yaramaz. ya düzeltip verin ya iade alın.
I don’t use visual studio code. Edited according to template vs code. I use normal visual studio net core mvc. If I am going to sort this theme one by one, it won’t work for me. either correct it or give it a refund.

Please note that Metronic’s default package includes all the features bundled and by using the build tools you may easily customize the styles and also build your custom bundle with required features only to make the output css/js bundle file size minimal. Also the build tools are required only for your development just to manage the assets and for production site you may just use the compiled assets according to your project requirements.

Whats the right way to set the color of ”.aside-menu .menu-nav>.menu-section .menu-text”. You’ve defined it in _variables.scss for dark theme. So how can I overwrite in _variables.custom.scss? or where should I set the color?
Or even better: how to overwrite the $brand-bg in themes/layout/brand/dark.scss? You are not using !default for $brand-bg… so we cannot overwrite in variables.demo.scss. Please explain…!

Sorry for the late reply. We would suggest you to customize the layout sass variables right in the dark.scss file. You can backup the original sass file and customize the dark.scss directly as per your requirements. variables.demo.scss is used to customize the bootstrap level global variables. Not the custom variables. If you need any further clarifications please let us know.

Is a Regular license contains the same files as the Extended one? We want to create a new saas startup, so we decided to buy a regular license, make our MVP, and if we finish it, buy an extended version BEFORE the first paid client. So we want to treat regular license to the develop-only purpose. Is it allowed?

If users can free browse and use your website or Metronic is used only as interface(eCommerce site) to sell other’s products you can use Regular license.
If your website provide paid services for users, for example monthly subscriptions or upgrade to PRO version, in that case you will need Extended license.
In your case, you provide paid access to additional plugins, so you need to buy Extended license
And please remember that license is limited to single use. You can’t use one license on multiple clients or projects. For every new project or client you will need to buy new license.
