Hello, I am trying to debug safe mode of Elementor with no success (just got pro and would like to try to create some new pages first page) plus I am trying to unlock the first modular home page so to be able to scroll down and interact with themes custom first page’s items, with no success as well. Which problems are you having exactly? Nobody reported any issue until now…
The news page does not open. After updating the elementor plugin to version 3.1.1 also the homepage problems, the slide is gone. To fix the home I brought elementor back to version 3.0.16 and I installed elementor pro version 3.0.10. But the news page does not open anyway, due to an error. With Elementor you waste a lot more time making a site and always have problems. Why didn’t you use bakery visual composer?
because everybody wanted Elementor, so we just followed what everybody asked for… we have some customers using elementor pro, we actually don’t add it as plugin and is not tested with the plugin, as the theme is shipped with regular elementor, which is working fine until now.
Did you notice any error in the console maybe?
as already said before, with the latest version of the elementor plugin, the slide in home was gone, I went back to the old version. Also, the news page does not open with elementor. The podcast page doesn’t open with elementor. How much time is lost with Elementor!
I’m sorry but I can’t reproduce. In our demo we have all up to date, and everything works fine. I took 2 short videos to show you what I mean.

It will be our pleasure to help troubleshooting what can be causing your issue. Anyhow, a suggestion that may eventually save you money, is to make very sure that theme and plugins are all up to date. About plugins, pleae notice that the theme can be forcefully udpated from “Appearance > Vice activation”
from this page, click “go to plugins” (blue link) and make sure all of the plugins here are up to date.
If you see a “forbidden” error message, it means all of the plugins are up to date.
Also, if all is up to date, you may want to disable any third party plugin that was not in bundle of the theme, of make sure none of them can be breaking elementor…

Hi, the tutorial shows exactl how to update without changing the appearance of your site. The only small change will be the 3 lines of the menu which are thinner than before. the rest stays the same.
IMPORTANT: what will go lost in this udpate, is the customizations. Anyhow, before the theme has just a couple options, while now you have many more color and font pickers. After the update, you’ll need to upload again your logo and set your favorite colors.
You can’t use the old vice with the modern wordpress, as if you do, wp 5.6 may cause bugs with the old theme software.

Can you please go to Plugins and make sure that you don’t have active a plugon called Easy Swipe box? It was the old plugin causing the issue but the theme should have disabled it automatically. If don’t, you can disable it manually.

Hello, I just updated to 2.0 but when I want to change a page and use Elementor it makes an error page that it couldn’t load it! Is the theme out dated for Elementor or is there any issue in code I am not aware of? By the way this is a new fresh install so no other plugins are in conflict
Thanks for your feedback sir. I cannot know the origin of your issues, and the theme works fine (we have more than 20 websites just on our servers running right now).
I can think about any possible issue, other plugins conflicts, server cache, literally anything.
Since I can’t see your website and you don’t have a support access, is not something easy to solve.
You can try to make a clean installation in a subfolder with Elementor and see if you can reproduce the issue.
If you have any screenshot of any code error, please feel free to post them here.

I have completely reinstalled WP with the new version 5.6 there were no plugins at all, then I putted the vice theme and vice dhrk theme in the themes folder. After activating it and installing the plugins that came with, I wanted to change the pages with Elementor, when hitting the Edit button it opens a page and says : There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
You can see what the message is in the screen shots. I tried to change the theme with a standard one of WP but the same problem happens

Hello, I deactivated the theme from the server test, moved the files to the final destination place and tried to activate the theme there. I got the message that the theme is activated, but it’s actually not, because I don’t get access to install the plugins or to edit pages with Elementor. Please help. That worked. Thank you. If you check your theme using for example an iPhone 5/5s you will notice that preloader is not working. Any case, after we disable it we get the site but the background animation does not work.
We tried to open a support ticket but your guys disabled our username because we asked for a feature in other theme yours and they did not like our review. So check it and release an update for this theme to work on iphone 5/5s.

About the helpdesk, your user was disabled because negative review was used as blackmailing to request theme customizations, that were not part of the product.
The dispute leads to an interruption of service on our behalf, because we don’t stand behind the blackmailing and don’t provide service to customers using this method.
It’s simple and works in this way:
- we evaluate your request and if it is not part of the code and too complex to achieve, we can’t do it
- then you leave a bad review to attempt obtaining that free work anyway
- we inform Envato about the behavior.
- At that point, they can also disable completely the customer account, as is called blackmailing and is also illegal. Purchasing a product doesn’t entitle to request anything under the threat of a negative review.
I imagine you’re able to understand that contract is not respected, there would be no boundary.
I’m sure if this happens again, Envato may review the account history and take some decision, like disabling the account and revoking the purchase codes.
About the preloader issue, iPhone 5 is not supported even by Apple. Its browser version is out of support, as well as the iOS.
That phone is from 2011, and we’re in 2021. Is 10 years old.
Anyway, further testing will be conducted on current iphones to make sure it works fine on modern browsers.
