While the posts slider is working fine, the events slider has stopped working. I have the latest version of the them from January and my website is rnajc.org. Please help.

you have only three events displayed there, there is nothing to slide. Just disable the slider functionality in the element until you have more events to show.

Nope, the update won’t fix that. There are only three events displayed in the code, for whatever reason. Check the element’s settings.
That was it! I had inadvertently changed the display setting to only 4 versus All. Changing that solved the issue. Thank you for the quick support response.

I had a question about an issue that I’m running into regarding the display of documents. On the Pressville demo site, I can navigate to Documents > Attachments Archive, No Sidebar. On this page, it shows the documents categorized within the drop downs that can be expanded. I then click on (not expand) the item for Town Reports. This changes the layout to the post format and shows documents within that category, including the post title, as well as excerpt.
I’m trying to reproduce this on my dev site, but the only options I can seem to configure is either globally showing all documents in Post View or Attachments View. I like how on the demo, it alternates, and I think it’s a bit more user friendly that way. I did try to change the menu link for documents to include the URL parameters that are in the demo by appending ”?lsvr_document_archive_layout=categorized-attachments&lsvr_document_archive_sidebar_position=disable”, but that doesn’t seem to have any effect.
I also wanted to see if there was a way to better organize documents when they’re displayed. Right now the options are limited for ordering, and for some documents I’m working with, there are specific orders in which they need to be listed. This might be more of a feature request, but I thought I’d ask.

I am sorry but that is not possible to do on the live site. On the demo, it is just to show both possible archive layouts, but it was not meant to work in a live environment like that.
You can change the order of posts/categories using the plugin like Intuitive Custom Post Order.

Hi, I have had user testing of my website using the Pressville theme. Everything is great except for one issue reported by iPhone users. The older model or smaller sizes have a problem where the map on the directory is too big for users to scroll past it easily. When they try to swipe down it just scrolls the map and they cannot get past the map to view the content below. I have seen several users have this issue on their own devices so would like to know if there is a fix. Thanks

I have translated the theme, all the lsvr related plugins and set the correct timezone I but still have the following issue when translating an event it appears as «This event has ended» thus not showing up in any ucoming events eventhough the dates and times are set properly in both languages do you have any solutions or ideas?

that has nothing to do with the translation. Please double check the start and end date of the event – those two dates are meant for the single (usually the first) occurrence of the event. Feel free to share the URL for this event post (you can open it through the admin).

there is no need for the Classic Editor plugin. You will see the button for WPBakery Page Builder right at the top of the Gutenberg editor.

This widget is included in the LSVR Events plugin. Which string exactly are you not able to find?
the string is “There are no events” it is displayed in the sidebar LSVR Event Featured Widget when no events are found
Right, I see, there is a small bug in the code. I will fix it in the next update. However, just assign the event for the widget and you won’t see the message.

try a different plugin. I am also using a caching plugin on my demo site and slideshow works just fine (see Front Page 2 on the demo). I don’t really see how caching plugin can have any effect on that.

Yeah, but if I understand it correctly, you’ve put some JS code in the field which does the job, right? This theme doesn’t allow you to put such scripts into that field for security reasons, but I will try to come up with more elegant solution to do it without compromising the site security.

Hi, there are other shortcodes that doesn’t works well with WPML. The “lsvr_document_attachments_widget” doesn’t filter the translated category and “lsvr_pressville_events” returns nothing for the translations ! Please help.
It seems like WPML did a lot of changes in their code in some recent updates breaking some theme functionality. It will take some time fix all that. I understand this is deal breaker for you, so I can offer you a refund, just send me a PM please.
Hi Lubos – question about recommended plugins for custom post types (LSVR Directory, LSVR Documents, LSVR Galleries, LSVR Notices, etc). Although it says in the documentation – if I will not use these, I do not need to install them, this message show up for every new user I add to wordpress:
“This theme recommends the following plugins: LSVR Directory, LSVR Documents, LSVR Galleries, LSVR Notices and LSVR People.”
Is there any way to disable this specific notification when adding new users?

unfortunately, you will have to click on “Dismiss this notice” for every user. This notice is added via a 3rd party script, so I can’t really change it.

1.) The Elementor is supported, but the demo was built using the Gutenberg editor. If you want to use Elementor, you will have to recreate those pages from scratch (but it is basically just homepages and contact page, as archive and post detail pages are generated automatically).
2.) You can change titles of course, as for the colors, you can change them only globally for the whole theme, not for separate elements.
3.) Yes, for the standard pages like for example home page. But please note that all archive pages (like directory, events, blog, etc) are generated automatically and can’t be edited in a page builder.

If you are completely new to WordPress, then I would not recommend going straight to a premium theme like this. There definitely is a learning curve. I would advice you to first try to play with some free themes, like TwentyTwenty or other default ones to understand the basics. Or you can just hire a freelancer to set up the theme for you.
You can also read through the documentation and see for yourself if it is something you can manage to do: http://docs.lsvr.sk/pressville.wp/ , also makes sure to check out the admin screenshots on the item description page to see a little bit under the hood. In the end, it is about your will to learn new things. It is not rocket science, but it is not trivial either.
You can change fonts and colors globally for the whole theme.
