Hi! I can’t edit listing either post from backend meanwhile ListingPro Plugin is activated. I try it with them versions 2.5 and 2.6 and wordpress versions 5.6 and 5.7. Is anyone else having troubles with this plugin? Thanks!

I tested Yoast %category % and this doesn’t appear to work for the listing content type.

Yoast is a third-party plugin that you can use with ListingPro. And we are not sure if they have the feature that you are looking for.

Yes, a business owner has her/his own dashboard where she/he can make edits on their business details page.
You as an admin can choose to allow people to post directly, or go under your review. Based on your preferences.

For the booking system to be fully functional/used are there additional fees in order to use it? (to TimeKit or Resurva or anyone else)

We have a built-in FREE Appointments Booking system available that can be included in a specific pricing plan but there is no fee or commission option per booking. So the only way admin can earn is to create a premium pricing plan that includes an appointment booking feature.

Let us know if you have any more questions. Just a recommendation that Job listing and directory are two different things. Doesn’t matter what theme or plugin you use don’t use the same theme/plugin to do both directory and job listing site. Keep them separate.

ListingProWP doesn’t officially support RTL. You can download a 100% translated file of the Arabic language here. As for converting your theme to RTL, you may google How to make a WordPress theme RTL and follow the instructions.

Does ListingPro have a feature that will automatically recognize the exact location of the user from the user’s ip address without the user having to provide location information, even in a small village where the users may be located, and automatically show the users listings very close to them?

Just to clarify ListingPro supports two types of Geolocation detection, Auto location by Google and GEO IP Address.
Geolocation detection by Google
GPS (via Google API) option is now available for more accurate geolocation which is sometimes not possible with Geo IP. It can be enabled for location selection for the front-end listing submission form and for Search (Where) field.
Also in the Search Filtering the Near Me feature uses Geolocation to narrow down the search results based on the radius distance. Geolocation needs users’ permission to activate GPS. (SSL/HTTPS is required)
Geolocation detection by IP Address
We offer two IP Based API for location detection but they are not as accurate as GPS.

Yes, but the point is, when will it be upgraded from version 6.0.2, to version 6.6?

Ok, so now I have another problem.
I found that WP Bakery was still not upgrading, so I downloaded the ‘Envato Market’ plugin, which is supposed to make it easier to download updates for Envato themes and plugins.
With this activated, I then noticed that there was an upgrade to the Listing Pro theme, so I downloaded it, and all I have now is a big red banner saying that I must activate Listing Pro.
You guessed it, I tried the purchase code, and even the item ID, but none of the codes entered would activate my license.
No idea if the new version of WP Bakery works yet, though I didn’t see it listed in the plugins section of the Envato Market plugin.
Some serious help needed please!
...and now I can’t get past the ‘backwards compatibility’ wizard.
Sorry you ran into issues while updating. So just to confirm you have updated ListingPro theme and the plugin to the latest 2.6.4?
You must delete the old WP Bakery version and it will promote you to install the latest version included in ListingPro 2.6.4.
That got it, at last!
If I could make a suggestion:
I’ve used (and am still using a few) many themes from Themeforest, all of which except Listing Pro have allowed you to upgrade really easily whilst still using the child theme, even if it was a ‘major upgrade’.
For the ease of user accessibility, this should also be the case with Listing Pro, as all that will happen are lots of posts like this one, who might have missed any announcements on Envato or Themeforest, rather than viewing these announcements on their own websites.
That being said, the support has been back to it’s best regarding this issue, so please mark this post as ‘resolved’ with many thanks!
Sorry for the late response. just to clarify are you suggesting simply add an announcement in the WP-Admin about a new update available? That’s a good idea and will make a note.
Indeed – every other theme or plugin from Envato announces this in WP Admin, including (in the case of themes) when an update to any bundled plugins become available.

I have uploaded homes to listingpro however I am trying to learn which option inside the dashboard that will allow for the properties to only be access by potential buyers who have paid for a membership in order to view the homes in our inventory. So, Basically I only want to show homes to potential buyers if they pay for a membership.

I have seen the Mimimum Requirement.
Is there is a test available for the theme before downloading and purchasing so that we can test before we really buy it..
Because one of my friend told me that he purchased this theme and his server got hanged in the panel and he was never able to use the theme..
