For the horizontal scroll menu, you can go to Customizer > JNews Header Option > Header Mobile Option > Enable Below Header Menu

In this case, you don’t need to activate the plugin license. It’s a premium plugin that we include in JNews with an extended license. About the plugin update, we will include the plugin within the theme update.

Regarding your paywall, any chance this can be used to view the site without ads, therefore integrate with eithett your own advertising system (with TCF 2.0) or work with something like Advanced Ads?

Congrats on the new version launch, I took a look at the demos and they are awesome. I do have a feature request: I noticed that if I’m playing a podcast/audio in the sticky player, it will play while I’m on the page. However, if I click to visit any other page on the site, the player is not persistent so it refreshes with the page loading and I lose where I was playing in the audio.
I’ve seen some other podcast themes (eg. WpCast) which have a persistent player that continues to play the audio as you browse the website, which is useful if you have blogs and other content for your visitor to read while listening. I’m not sure the technology of how they did it, but it would be amazing to have this ability in the sticky player

the theme is no longer in envato elements that is very disappointing as i use it myself and my customers. i am a web designer and i promised my client that there would be updates for the theme. i needed so much working hours for the adjustments and now suddenly no more updates? I can understand if you no longer want to offer your theme in envato elements, but that shouldn’t apply to old users who already have a license. think about the security of our website when we don’t have any more updates.

Unfortunately JNews is no longer available on Envato Elements. But you don’t need to worry, you can still get update by purchasing JNews through Themeforest.
By purchasing JNews, you will get lifetime update, official support service and theme license.

Wow! Version 8 looks amazing! Thanks for making a Podcast and Audio-focused demo. When I go to your demo site, however, it doesn’t seem to be fully functional (missing demo content, showing shortcodes on the pages). Hopefully you can fix that soon so we can try out the new demos!
