Hello. The “Pressville Posts List of Posts” does not want to display specific categories anymore after the latest update, it now display all categories, although it’s set to show specific categories. Can you please help.

I would like to change the color of the font in the Main Menu. I have multiple licensed copies of the Pressville theme and have used custom CSS code to make the menu a specific color and show the menu items in white font. It is working on my other sites, but not the newer sites that I have built with newer versions of the theme. Can you please let me know if there is alternate CSS code I should be using?
Here is what has been working on my other sites (the hex code for the background-color is specific to each site):
.header-navbar__inner {background-color:#4a96a4;}
.header-navbar__inner a {color:#fff;}
h1 {font-size:2.1em;}
.header-navbar { background-color: #FF0000; }

Hi there, I traditionally use Beaver Builder instead of Elementor or PageBuilder. Do you know if Beaver Builder works with the Pressville theme? What about Beaver Themer? Does PV come with PageBuilder, and if so can it be removed without breaking the theme? Also it’s hard to tell how customizable the layout is. For example I love the Theme but really don’t care for the header/menu style. Aside from CSS or editing the header.php, are their layout options within the customize sections? Thanks much. you can use Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder or the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg). I mean any page builder should work, theoretically, but custom theme’s elements will be available only in those three. You can use shortcodes instead though, so you don’t have to use any page builder if you really don’t want.
There are no layout options for the header/menu. You don’t have to use secondary menu and language switcher of course, so the red header bar will go away, but that’s about it.

you are the first buyer reporting something like this. Are you sure it is not some sort of 3rd party plugin which is causing this? The demo site uses less the 40MB on my server, so there must be something wrong on your end. Are you caching your site?

Hi, we are having an issue on the time for the opening hours in the directory. They are all out by an hour. We have gone to settings >> General and changed from London to UTC and then UTC+1 and UTC+2 but no difference in the display on pages such as https://purleybid.co.uk/business-directory/ghost-hair/

Right, I think I know what is causing that, will release an update soon.
Try this quick fix: copy the template-parts/lsvr_listing/single-opening-hours.php file to your child theme (preserve the relative path), open it and search for “date_i18n” (there should be three instances), change them all to just “date” (without quotes). Please let me know if that fixed the issue.
But the weird thing is that I am not able to emulate this issue on my installation, no matter what I do. Are you using the latest version of WordPress (5.7) and running your site on the PHP7?

have you installed some 3rd party plugin or something like that? Since I assume it worked fine before. Try to re-save your permalinks settings under Settings / Permalinks.

Señores de un rato a otro se pierde la imagen del encabezado de la pagina con el tema pressville, que puedo hacer, como soluciono dicho problema, las imagenes estan debidamente cargadas, pero por algun motivo sale negro, a un principio si mostraba la imagen sin problemas.

I meant to say about the alignment of the social icons and the copyright text on the footer. I would also like to center the featured documents widget button in the center of the block. It´s about horizontal alignment. I have knowledge in HTML and I am able to include codes in the CSS of the child theme. I would just like to know which container the elements are in and whether it is possible to centralize everything.

Le probleme est que apres l’avoir installer, le model presenter sur le site lors de l’achat ne s’y trouve pas… ; on nous demande plutot d’utiliser un theme vide et de le monter jusqu’a obtenir un nouveau resultat. Mais ce n’est pas ce que nous voulon, nous desirons avoir le meme model de theme presenter sur theme forest avec les image et tout le contenu qu’il y avait afin de le modifier nous même.

Did you remove the left and right arrows from the Pressville Posts Grid? I’ve recently updated the theme and only now noticed they were gone. I’ve checked the ’\wp-content\plugins\lsvr-pressville-toolkit\templates\shortcodes\pressville-posts.php’ and didn’t find the code for the buttons. Thanks in advance for your time!

But I have a small problem. Is there a way to list a post category on a simple page? For example on a simple page I have a little intro text and below that I like to list one of categories from the posts. Can I do that? It would be nice if the post list could look like the same as a post category page, with large thumbnails and stuff…and also with pager on the bottom if there is a lot of posts in the category. I am sorry but that’s not possible. I mean you can use LSVR Posts widget block, but it won’t look the same as on the archive page. But why not just add that text as a category description and link directly to the category archive page? Trying to do it via a standard page is overly complicated if there already is a simple way to do it.
Alternatively, you can customize the specific category archive page with some additional coding using the child theme if you need to. This is far beyond what’s included in the theme support, but there are ways to do it and it is not that hard if you know some HTML https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/basics/template-hierarchy/

I’ve just applied today’s update and the Pressville Posts is not working properly, it is displaying all posts from all categories regardless of which category is selected. Is there anything I can do to get it working properly again ?
