I have two questions to decide if this theme will work for me.
First of all, can I display more than one block of blog posts on the main page? for example from two different categories of posts. In the demo site I only see that you can activate or deactivate a blog section but not add any more or duplicate this section.
Second, is it possible to show an excerpt of the post text in layout C1 or D1? In the Megaphone theme the extract is shown by default in these layouts but not in Roogan and I can’t find if there is any way to activate them.

Regarding multiple blog sections on the front page – I’m afraid that we don’t have such a feature yet. I will forward your message to our product team as feedback, and maybe we’ll create that kind of feature in the future.
Regarding the C1 and D1 layouts – I’m afraid that Layouts C and D have that kind of design, without the excerpt. Layouts A1, B1, E, F and G can show excerpt.

Is it possible to make the player sticky to keep listening while browsing? It resets every time a user switches pages which is a big turn off for me and my listeners.

Hello, I like Roogan theme. Before I buy it, I want to make sure that the font used in this theme is compatible with Polish characters: ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż. I know I can use standard font from Google, but I don’t want to do this at the expense of nice web design. Regards

The fonts that we’re using in the theme are Google fonts mostly. Of course, you can use any font you want in general. 
Regarding the Polish characters – Of course. This is the matter of the Latin extended font subset. They’re already imported in our theme, so you can start to write your text in Polish right away.

There are so many issues with the Welcome hero. The background image does not resize properly and it’s impossible to find a graphic that scales well. Unless, of course, you use a random stock photo. Please, do something for the hero. Allow us to upload different background images for different screen sizes. It’s currently a mess.

I’ve been experimenting with the 7 day trial sites for Roogan and Megaphone.
Firstly, I appreciate that the overall ‘look’ to these themes are faily unique. But, after investigating the backend customisation, and even though they are very similar, each theme is missing some core functionality that is found in the other. The missing features can be as simple as not able to set an ‘Image ratio’, or mising the ‘Display show name in the player’. Each theme has functional features which I want for my site, and this is proving difficult to decide on which theme I would like to purchase.
My question is, while keeping each theme visually different, are you at some stage planning to bring all the functional features into both themes so they function the same? This is for layouts and their settings.

We had a little bit more work than usual after the holidays, so we didn’t manage to answer until now.
Regarding the image ratio – You can set layout image ratios in both themes, but the procedure is a little bit different. In Megaphone, you need to navigate to each particular layout settings, for example, Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Podcast > Episode listing layouts > The layout that you want to use, and change the image ratio. Roogan has the entire panel for that purpose inside the Theme Options.
Regarding the show name inside the player – both themes are able to display the show name inside the player, besides the episode now. Please check our Megaphone and Roogan changelogs:

Regarding the layouts and their settings – We don’t have an intention for them to be the same. They do have pretty similar features though. Roogan, for example, has all the Megaphone features. It is just a question of placing that particular feature inside the theme options.

Can I please ask how the permalinks are handled for podcast episodes? Is it possible to do /show name/episode name-or-number ?

Regarding the permalinks – Permalinks are handled with the default WordPress functionality, in your Settings > Permalinks.
And, of course, you can customize them with Yoast SEO plugin.

What’s the difference between this theme and your other one Vlog?

There are many differences. The building process is a bit different, and the main difference is that Roogan is primarily a podcasting theme, while Vlog is a vlogging theme, the main focus is on videos. Roogan does have a feature with which you can play videos with our player, because a lot of podcasters are using video as their primary media these days.
My personal suggestion would be to try both of our themes for free.
