Congratulation for the new Metronic 8 relase:

We always been an HTML app developper and stated away from JS framework world, but, BUT we have been studying svelte from the begining and it kept our attention.

We really would like to see a Svelte Metronic 8 integration version, since 2021 is the year of Svelte based on https://2020.stateofjs.com/en-us/technologies/front-end-frameworks/

I don’t know if you guys know it already but moment has been freezed/deprecated ….. there’s a lots of alternative like Luxon as momentjs guys suggest it.

Beside of the Landing page (wich is highly in demand), we also would like to see More Invoices Templates and Pricing table/Options ….

Also we want to see different way of Layout design structure, like the one you did with User profile page : it was an amazing way how you gave us hints how to organize our web app and users to put them all together in onplace (Tabs, forms and menu submenu, ), not even UI but also you helped us in the UX way of how profile/user is accessed and how the elements are ordered together, just by seeing the Metronic, we already mockup our workflow, we would like to see kind of these.

Since Metronic v7.1.5 update the precompiled assets folder is no longer included. In the download package only the source files are included and the assets folder must be generated. by using the build tools so in order to launch the theme you will need to generate the “assets” folder from “src” folder by installing the build tools and running the build tasks in command line.

This approach is nowadays defacto for all developers so we encourage our users to move forward with the development trends and from our side we can help with video tutorials, documentations and easy to follow guides.

This is the correct command. Please check it.

gulp --demo1 --rtl=true

You should find the rtl css file beside any css file in the generated assets. One example rtl css is here;

theme/html/demo1/dist/assets/css/style.bundle.rtl.css

As I said, after copying and pasting the HTML code of the “search input example” of the Demo4 on the Demo2 page, the “search input” does not select the “dropdown-item” like “developers tab” for example

If we are talking about the same “search input” then at the moment this input is only for the demo purpose. If you want to add a dropdown you can use one of our theme provided input plugins.

The paid version of the plugin is a continuation of the free version. It is better to say that the plugin has two versions, Lite and Pro, that the theme will be added in the Lite version, and the Pro version is the only add-on to the plugin.

What will the license look like if your template is only added to the free version?

And if the opposite happens, ie the template is added to the paid version of the plugin, what will the license be like?

We are currently planning for a free version, but the second question was asked because we could have a better view of the license.

Themeforest licenses do not allow using items as part of reselling items. There is no license option for both free and paid versions of your app since each copy requires a separate license.

Can you also share your browser console to find out what causes the delay ? Metronic’s default package includes all the features bundled and using the build tools you may easily customize the styles and also build your custom bundle with required features only to make the output css/js bundle file size minimal.

Please note that the build tools are required only in your development environment just to compile the changes and generate the assets and in your hosting you just need to deploy the assets folder, no need to install those build tools in your hosting.

how do you use the layout builder, I tried the export thingy, and downloaded the file and now I’m even more confused on how to add this to the demo I am playing with, are all this “things to do first before you can actually use the product” to be like this in the future?

can I get a lower version please that does not involved the “build tools”?
