Yes it’s possible to migrate old version of SmartMag to newer one. If the developer heavily customized it with PHP or other code migrating those customizations won’t be possible. But if theme features and theme settings for used for customization, it shouldn’t be an issue at all.

There’s only one visible h1 that’s added to logo and that can be disabled if you wish to use another h1 on the page. The other h1 is in the authentication modal under display none and also marked by aria-modal so it’s ignored by search engines. But yes, you can disable if you want to.

There are 3 rows available in the header and any one of those can be made sticky. However, not multiple of them. So you will have to choose one from the three.

The WordPress 5.6 issue you mentioned occurred with 5.6 release in December 2020 and were fixed in an update at the same time. You can read the update guide and update to the latest version. Without renewing support, you can still access and read topics at the support site.

We haven’t tested it yet, but our buyers do use the official Disqus WordPress plugin and it should work fine on normally loaded posts, when comment syncing is enabled.

This generally shouldn’t be an issue unless you built posts using some special shortcodes the theme offered. If the posts were built using the WordPress features or even general non-theme-specific plugins, it should be all good.

We do have custom WooCommerce integration but we don’t have any special integration for any membership plugins. For your needs, you will have to use a membership or restrict content plugin like “Restrict Content Pro” (paid) or “Paid Member Subscriptions” (free).
