Hi there, your business directory plugin looks solid. We had a hew questions before we buy it and was hoping you could help with.
1 – Have it to where in order to be added to the directory, you must first by a subscription or single cost to join, and then fill in their company details.
2 – Will we get notified when someone tries to signup and can vet them before they appear on the site?
3 – Is it possible to have tier based pricing for people who want to have their listing appear in the directory? Like I have 3 plans. Silver, Gold Plat, each tier with their own price?
4 – Would it be possible for us to edit the listing once it is created from the admin side of Wordpress?
5 – Is it possible to have the listings behind a hidden page that only people who have a membership subscription to be able to view any of the listings?
6 – Would we be able to show specific listings on say a special page that we want to advertise?
7 – I see there is a Job listing portion as well. Would it be possible to have the business from the directory be able to submit specific jobs to this, and then have the Members who are signed up be able to view and contact these jobs listings?

With respect to your query here, here are some answers.
- This is possible but you would need to integrate the theme with an additional plugin that is the Listing Payments plugin
- Not a feature that has been added yet!
This is a great feature suggestion. However admin get notified on a new listing submission where an new sign up can be created in this process. - Yea this is possible to have as we have a liting pricing and plans template with the theme. Here is an example.
- Yes it is possible to edit a listing on the admin end once created.
- The feature of hiding listings from specific users that are signed up to a specific plan, would require a membership / content restriction plugin.
- This is an option that would require some additional custom work with the theme.
- No there is no job listing for that you would require the Jobify theme instead.

With respect to your query here, the theme here can be used as a directory website for any niche including weddings. You can post wedding business listings and also allow other users to post their wedding business listings as well. There are couple dashboards the them has incorporated with other plugins as well.

Hi There, I have a pre purchase question. I will want to add listings manually prior to the website launch. Anyone that signs up post launch would be charged a monthly subscription. Is there a way of inputting payment details for listings that are manually input? I would like to give 30 days free and then charge monthly thereafter.

With respect to your query here, it is possible to add the listings manually for listing owners and also charge them on subscription basis, however you will need the WooCommerce subscription plugin to achieve this.

New update for WP robots cause conflict with Yoast SEO and add noindex.
Temporary workaround is comment/remove add_filter( ‘wp_robots’, ‘wp_robots_no_robots’ ); in functions.php.

Every time I get a notification to say this theme has been updated, i think ‘awesome. some tasty new features’! But no, it’s just the least amount you can do.
This theme blowing up absolutely destroyed it. Shame, it had potential way beyond even its current purchases.

You can see a demo on how the products are linked in this example page. Linking them to individual single listing page can be done by editing the listing page and selecting the products in the listing data section. This can also be done on Listing submission page. With respect to your query here, the best way to prevent people from posting more listings would be to use the listing packages via the Listing Payments plugin. It offers an option for listing limit for every user.
Our theme does support RTL for further translations we recommend using Polylang and Loco plugins.

With respect to your query here, changing the fields i the submission form would require custom work, but adding this fields would require you to have the WPJM – Field Editor plugin.
Apparently the feature for social login and registration is not in our theme unless you use a third party plugin to have it in your site.

Hello, I’m Brazilian and I’m using a translator because I only speak Portuguese. I would like to have some information. 1 – What resources do I need to have on my hosting server to use this theme? I don’t know if this theme requires a lot of memory, PHP or something else on the server. 2 – Is there any configuration that I can offer free registration for a few months and then the customer must pay for the service? 3 – Does this system validate the customer’s email?

With respect to your query here, To use Listify WordPress Theme, you must be running WordPress 4 or higher, PHP 5.6 or higher version (WordPress officially suggests to use PHP 7.3, read more) and mysql 5 or higher version. Try using a memory limit of 96M for now. You can use the listing payments plugin to offer free and paid plans. For subscriptions you will require the Woocommerce Subscriptions plugin. Yes the customer’s emails are also validated on registration.

When is listify going to update so we can use PHP 8. Also the auxillary plugins which support the theme and make it dynamic have not been updated for over a year or so now. I realise that the old team of developers have gone, what are the new ones doing?

With respect to your query here, at the moment WordPress developers do not recommend upgrading to the new PHP 8 as it is still in the beta stage and there are a lot of functionalities still being tested. At the moment they are working of fixing old bugs within the theme. We are also working on more demos of the themes and additional functionality as well.

With respect to your query here, the theme uses similar fields amongst the listing fields which have been defined. There is email verification as well once a user registered. If you wish to have custom work you can always contact the Xtendify services team. Yes you can use the private messagesplugin to enhance contact between listing owner and users. Yes for bookings we use the href=”https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/”>Woocommerce Bookings plugin. Booking is controlled by the plugin and there must be a way to provide hourly booking. Again this will require custom work to the theme’s listing page. You can have the custom work done by them by contacting them via this email.

With respect to your query here, we do not seem to replicate this error from our end. We have the updated Listify version 2.13.6, WP v5.7, and the latest WooCommerce v5.1.0. The issue here seems to be that there is a plugin creating a scheduled action that does not exist. Also, check if your cron jobs have been disabled here by installing the WP Crontrol plugin and going to the cron events section. If you see a message at the top that cron jobs are set to true then contact your host to set them to false. Next, I would recommend that you perform a conflict check by using the following guide here.

With respect to your query here, if you have already created the user then it is possible to change the listing owner. Simply edit the listing and then scroll to listing data. Then under the posted by section click on change and then search for the user you wish to set as listing owner. Here is a screencast showing this procedure.
