I can copy all settings from your demo site of course but what exactly is the setting causing this nice effect. Is that a gutter or margin? I cannot find it and i would really like to know this so that i can manage this properly.

We are phasing out the old carousel mode and the old items per row. You should use the new Auto Grid + Auto Carousel mode, which provides natural clipping on items that partially fall outside the scrollable area. (We may also put the old overflow option back in the old carousel but currently it’s off).

Hi, the Buy Now button is not hardcoded, it’s a custom extra button created in Journal > Product Extras > Extra Buttons, which can be assigned only to the product your want via the Product Rules option.

I know, but it’s very difficult to assign this button only the products that are in stock. What I want to say is that as you know “exlude button” has options: hide cart, hide wishlist and hide compare. I hid “add to cart button” using this menu. Is it possible to add “hide buy now” option under Journal>Product Extra>Exlude Button, or is it possible to add an option that will make the “buy now” button only products that are in stock under Journal> Product Extra>Buy Now.
There is not such thing as a “Buy now” button in Opencart so that would not work. Only Cart/Wishlist/Compare are part of the normal Opencart button setup. The buy now is just a custom Journal button, which can be used as a buy now or anything else you want. So it’s a custom button which just happens to be used as a buy now, but it’s not part of the default Opencart buttons, therefore cannot be targeted with the Exclude Button feature.

The first – you wrote : “Not all images used in our demos are included with the download.” so how exactly do premade Hompages (of template Market) look like? I am afraid that i cant not build the site without demo content. The second – i am going to make a online shop with Vietnamse and Russian languages in the front and on admin part. Hi, you get the design of the demo but not the product images since you will add your own products. Just watch our installation video, in the second part we demonstrate how the demo import works.

I received one of our clients issue. I don’t know how to resolve this issue, Because the problem is not OC’s. The problem is related to calculation. “Sale%” label is showing wrong percentage. Hi, been using J2 for a long time and wondering if this is possible. I have In-Stock and Out-Of-Stock options when a customer clicks on any menu items to see the products in the site inventory. However, I don’t have these options in the Search Listing pages when you searched for a product. Can I add these options to the search output page too? Thank you!

Yes Sir, I was referring to the Super Filter availability in the search results page. There was no Search layout in the layout list in my configuration. Now, I added it, then I was able to assign it in the Journal super filter section. Thank you!

Hello. My client is asking me to upgrade from Journal 2 to 3. Do you have a guide on how to do that? There are quite a few modification inside current theme (design, seo urls, layout options, custom blocks, etc.), do they port to the new version? If not, is there an easier way to import these custom settings?

Hi, it’s not possible to migrate the design from Journal 2 to 3 since they are completely different themes, you would have to recreate the design in the Journal 3 admin, like a separate theme.

Hi, Are you aware of this issue in latest journal….. 3.17 and 3.18
i have 20k + products and 2k categories everything works fast in journal… but when i click save button anywhere in the journal and then i go to home page or any category, product, – it freezes for 2-5 seconds when i switch languages (i have 3-5 languages) it freezes again for 2-5 seconds, then (possibly it cached) it works fine again, and everything starts again till i click save button in journal again.
Tell me how to fix that ? or you aware of this ? I found this issue in 3.0.3.6 and 3.0.3.7 + php 7.3 and 7.4
Hi, cache is cleared when making changes in admin so it may take a while next time cache is regenerated but we are working on some performance improvements which should improve cache efficiency, please file a ticket on our support page if you need further assistance.

Its is possible for now not to clear cache ? because site is slowed down 10x times because of that? i did not noticed this in earlier versions of journal.. is there any suggestion or fix solution? because i make 100x changes in journal when working, and every time site will be slow for clients… sorry its not acceptable.,
