Hi, Is this theme not compatible with Rankmath?

I saw that you are not recommending Rankmath.

I was trying to use rankmath since there are much more free features than Yoast.

Can i ask why you are not recommending Yoast?

Hi

You can use it, it will work, we just don’t recommend it because there are various opinions about that plugin https://www.littlebizzy.com/blog/rank-math-death-threats

Hello, any word on an update where your theme will support Elementor?

Hi, on roadmap but we don’t have any ETA now

Your instructions says:

Click the “Begin activating plugins” and follow the instructions there to install new required plugins. If you’ll have problems with updating WPBakery Page Builder, go to Plugins to deactivate it first, then update from Appearance → Install Plugins, and activate again.

But if I click on Apperance THERE IS NO “INSTALL PLUGINS” option anywhere. Instructions are very unclear.

That means you have everything updated

Hi,

“Apply for Job” button does not work. Nothing happens after clicking on it. What could be the issue?

www.selectbaan.nl

Thank you

I know my support has expired, but this is a problem because of the update to 2.0

Try to disable Popup Maker plugin, maybe it’s causing conflict

Hi

Please verify your purchase if you wish to receive support.

hi i want only candidates showing on the website listing and for FREE, then I want employers to pay a annual fee to see the candidates listing is this possible? All so i want employers to rate a candidate. Thanks in advance

It’s not possible out of the box, it would require using 3rd party plugins like for example https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-packages/

Hi!

We want that the following features in the website please let me know if this can be implemented using your theme.

1: There will be multiple franchise and multiple painters. 2: Franchise will post projects and painters will accept them. 3: We need to set notification email if the project is not accepted for long. 4: Every painter and franchise should be able to login. 5: A painter should be able to subscribe some categories to according to which he or she will get projects.

Another thing other than this theme, will we be required to buy any plugins ? Like Job manager. Looking forward to hear from you.

Hi

WorkScout is job board theme, it’s not for handling project between users.

Hi, lovely theme, but why are you selling some of the plugins separately? I though all the features are tightly integrated without buying extras!

Hi, because those are not our plugins. WorkScout is theme for WP Job Manager plugins.

Hi, can I restrict viewing candidates to only employers who have paid for membership? Is there an autogenerated CV or resume printed into pdf?

Hi, no problem with restricting content but you will need to use some third party plugin for that (any paid memebership extension on wordpress.org). There’s no autogenerated CV in pdf

Hi, it is possible to add icons to: Job Overview ?

You’d have to modify template file to add them

My website is (b2b) so the companies users can respond to a job posted or post jobs and earn money from successful candidates, does your theme support this?

Do you provide such customization?

No, sorry

Hello, I love that there is the ability to set a default company logo. I’m hoping to be able to set a default candidate photo as well. I was able to change the default photo in the WP Job Manager Resumes template but it looks like there is also a different photo from the theme on the single resume page as well. Is there one area in the theme template where I can change both simultaneously so all candidates have the same default image in the resume listings and single resume page?

What I meant by manually copying and pasting the image, was copying and pasting the image url into the photo section for each resume. Doing that updates both images.

Hi

I see now. In workscout/single-resume.php there’s default path to the image in line 32

<?php the_candidate_photo(‘workscout-resume’, get_template_directory_uri().’/images/candidate.png’); ?>

if you replace it with <?php the_candidate_photo(‘workscout-resume’); ?>

it will load the image from wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager-resumes/assets/images/candidate.png

Thank you!

Hello,

I have 2 questions and im posting it here so it might help others.

1. When I edit the homepage using the ‘Customize’ button, it shows a 404 page, though the page does work fine when I save it. I have edited the permalink setups, as well as changed to home page 7. Not sure if that matters but also don’t know how to fix it.

2. On the homepage, there are iconbox’s. I can change the image, but not the text and everytime I save it, it creates a new paragraph. I try to edit the text but the text box is unclickable and just shows up blank. When I save it though, the standard template text is in there.

I’m talking about the IconBox part that says ‘Post A Job’ ‘Advertise’ ‘Recruit’. There is text below it that I can’t edit.

Thank you!

Please contact me via Support Tab with admin access to your site, I’ll check it

Hi, it’s me again. Sorry to ask you so many questions today.

Do you have any public roadmap regarding the theme? Maybe you can consider the idea of building one and let the users of the theme vote the most interesting proposals and also contribute with ideas.

This is something that is done a lot with SAAS and it helps them to build features according to market demands.

I know there is a big difference between a Saas and a wordpress theme, but I think a public roadmap can be positive for everyone.

Thanks for the great work you do with this theme.

Hi

we don’t have such roadmap currently, but thanks for feedback

Hi team, a question, is it possible that when subscribing to the site via the Register button users type their name instead of a username? We are losing valuable information from a marketing point of view in that first form. If this is not possible, please consider adding it in future updates. It makes more sense if the username is created randomly and users log in with their email. Also, would it be possible to add any other fields to that form? For example, let the user choose the job categories they are interested in. All this would give us a lot of valuable information for marketing. Thanks!

Hi

you have some options in WorkScout Core -> Registration to control that. We will be adding editor for the registration form soon, as we already have it for our other theme which shares the same code base

✅ Companies can add multiple jobs and all jobs are also viewable on a company profile.

❌Talents can add multiple resumes, but unfortunately there is no profile page to see all resumes on one page.

This feature is unfortunately missing in this amazing theme.

Hello, I’ve been building the site without the child them because I didn’t think I would need it. I was able to customize headers for job categories, skills and URLS on the single resume page in a different theme: photo at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KiyhvNcAb5iBB0TmLAMoXxTQ4YeT9yY6/view?usp=sharing

I’m not seeing a way to do that in WorkScout even with all of Smyles plugins installed. Would I need the child theme for that, or would it be possible to use custom CSS or a code snippet in the Code Snippets plugin to add those 3 headers?

Hi

Yes, that would require customizing template file to change it like that

Thank you!

Hi! Is the theme compatible with a member space plug-in and if so, which? Thanks

Hi

I haven’t tested any plugins like that with WorkScout, we don’t have any special compatibility for such plugins

Hi! I made my site with your theme. My site is referenced by google as job posting site. How do I prevent google from referencing it as a job offer? thanks

Hi

add in functions.php
add_filter( 'wpjm_get_job_listing_structured_data', '__return_false' );

Thanks !!!!!
