It says under https://keenthemes.com/metronic/?page=docs§ion=update that best practice is to separate the metronic source into an isolated directory, but it is never shown in practice how to do this.
Do you provide any working examples on how to do this? The demo projects currently leave you with highly coupled dependencies between your app logic and the metronic layout, making updating even the minor version of the metronic theme a real hassle.

In the meantime if you like to customize the base SASS you can use “src\sass\components\_variables.custom.scss” file to globally override the scss variables.

Our Metronic version is 7.2.7 and regarding using Metronic demo, am not sure which one should we use. Because as I told that I am not technically sound and that’s the reason I am confused if React & ReactJS both are same and Metronic only supports React or it will also support ReactJS.

Can you try to run the build on your development machine and deploy the assets to your hosting/sever ? Basically the build tools installation and assets compilation should be done only in your development environment and the actual site should use only the compiled assets in your server.

Yes, you can sell your product that uses Metronic commercially but for each sold copy you will need a separate regular license of Metronic. One themeforest license is limited only for one usage/client.

Please note that the extended license is limited for one project/site that can have unlimited paying users. For example you have an online service/site that provides certain service for users and you charge the end users for using your service. This kind of usage is considered as an Site with Paying User and requires the extended license.
In your case, if you like to make a product using Metronic and sell it you user end users so they purchase and install and use it on premise then for each copy of your end product you will need to purchase a separate regular license.
For each license you pay once and it has has no expiry date.
The support subscription should be extended after it expiry if you like to continue using our theme support.

Nice with a Bootstrap5 update.. But seeing that Bootstrap5 finally ended their marriage with jQuery it makes me sad to see you guys continue polluting your theme with jQuery still?? bummer

Thanks for your feedback.
Please note that jQuery is optional(you can remove it and core Metronic works fine without jquery) for Metronic HTML version but there are a number of important plugins such as Select2, Datatables, etc needed by most of the users.

Metronic8 Landing page looks insanlly great and simple
Hope it’s gonna share the same “dist assets” folder as Metronic8, so we can have One app serving “Our Landing page” and “Our App” Using the same Django Backend instance.
I think Metronic 8 is just amazing, looks neat.
Hope to see other Demos, like : Demo2 and Demo6 and please guys increase the Colors palete numbers (secondary, Success, info,..), besides of Bootstrap default color, try to have more than that, like Purple, Olive, ... Imagine that Bootstrap has 5 main, it will be great to have like 15 colors in Metronic 8., I know you can customize that, but Hey I’m just saying, but I think if I need it that way , a lots will. because the more default thing is in the Metronic 8, the less the update from Metronic version to version will be smooth and easy.
Also other very and highly importants pages like : Forms, ... wich it is power and is a backbone for every page in the planete.

I’m using the KTDatatable for a simple HTML data table, that has for each row some buttons, each button with a class like “lnk_edit”, “lnk_disable”, etc.
In my JS file I have the KTDatatable initialization and the $(”.lnk_edit”).click(... But as expected it’s not binding the click event to the buttons.
I guess I have to do it with a KTDatatable event after the table is fully rendered. Can you help me in figure this out?

I think that it’s not the problem. I’ve set this test:
var $element = $("i.lnk_edit");
if ($element.hasClass("lnk_edit")){
$element.addClass("myClass");
console.log("Found", $element);
}
The $element is found, and in the console, prints the element object with the added class “myClass”.
But in the DOM inspection the element is not modified, the class is not there. It looks like that jQuery did not updated the DOM element.
I guess I’m missing something. Can you help?
