However working with lots of dependencies where the integration issues may take unknown time to solve in order to release a production ready solution makes it hard to promise exact dates. We are doing our best to release it as soon as possible and hopefully it will be in a few weeks within June.

I have one query regarding angular templates, as car i saw you just released v8 but not yet done any demo for angular, therefore can i use v7 with angular already in place and use the visualization components from v8? Another one can i take any prebuilt angular structure and change css to any other demo, is it gonna work smoothly or it require some changes?

We are working on it with a high priority and we will do our best to release Metronic 8 with Angular 12 within July with lots of enhancement, such as, performance improvements, typescript support, layout optimizations, ready to use AUTH flow implementation with real REST API, native core plugins, etc.

If you start with v7 now then migrating to v8 may require major changes in your code but core business logic of your app can be transferred to v8.

Hi,

At he moment, we are releasing the base layout of Metronic 8 demo1 converted into Laravel blade. We will add more example pages like HTML version into Laravel.

But the CSS styles from the HTML version already integrated into Laravel. All the components from the HTML version are static and non-working components. You can just copy the component HTML from the HTML version, and paste it into the Laravel component to get the same look. The actual functionality and implementation need to be done by the customer because every customer has its own business requirements.

Hi,

We really really looking up for Metronic8 – Demo6 (HTML) to be released .

And specially the amazing way of extras in Builder to put Layout of “User, Notifications, Quick actions and Cart” as Offcanvas (it is a must for us).

Since it’s already done in Metronic7 it won’t be a headaches to be achieved in Metronic8. (And You already made chat message as Offcanvas in Metronic8)

We put a lot of afford and love on Metronic v8 and with weekly updates we will make the most advanced and all-purpose theme without increasing the CSS/JS files size as our new core framework allows us to grow and provide unlimited solutions by keeping the foundation size permanent. I’m curious if you know roughly when the calendar support will be added into version 8? We’re considering Metronic for a Bootstrap 5 based admin dashboard but a calendar is really important for us and as of right now it seems that is only available in version 7 for Bootstrap 4.

Hello keenthemes!, I am using Metronic v7, and I haven’t be able to make the datetimepicker to open when clicking the input and show like this: https://imgur.com/pQUPwSA when I try to use sideBySide and inline true it doesn’t work, I cannot see any examples on the demo page I am using the plugin from dominus tempus that you provide in the bundle, any hints on what is going on? It seems this option was not integrated yet.

Please go to “src/sass/vendors/plugins/_tempusdominus-bootstrap-4.scss” and add below code:

.bootstrap-datetimepicker-widget {
    &.timepicker-sbs {
        width: 450px !important;
     }
}

Then recompile the asset folder with gulp to apply the changes.

Hello again!

For some complicated reasons, I might have to move the global scripts section from the bottom of the document to the top into the <head> section. Will this cause any issues with any of the components? In theory it shouldn’t, since as far as I can tell, most components rely on dome sort of document loaded event, but I still wanted to make sure.

I can see things in version 8 that I don’t see in version 7 and vice versa, can I use what I have in version 7 in version 8, i.e. is this version backwards compatible?
