BornToGive is compatible with GiveWP plugin. However you won’t be able to use Causes/Campaigns widgets of the theme if WPCharitable plugin is not active.

I’m using the [event_calendar] shortcode but is not showing any events on the calendar. I can see them if I use the “BORNTOGIVE Events” element nut not the shortcode.
Also, when I click on the “IMIC Framework Shortcodes” button is showing just a blank page.

Hi, the revolution slider button link adds the website URL as well when opening. For example, my website is www.abc.com, I add a button on Rev slider pointing to www.xyz.com but when a visitor clicks the button on the home page, it directs the visitor to www.abc.com/www.xyz.com instead of just www.xyz.com and shows error page obviously. What is causing this please and how do I fix it? Thank you! .

Hi, since version 2.8 up to the current 2.8.1, WPBakery is not updating. The little button will turn over but when the BornToGive >> Plugins page is refreshed, WPBakery Update button reappears.
All other plugins update just fine.

Hello, I just finished my client’s website (www.rzbb.org) , where I integrated WooCommerce with Matercard MPGS. The checkout page keep prompting “Payment error: Invalid credentials.” and I cannot seem to figure out the issue, everything seems in place and MPGS setup communicated from bank seems good. Please I need your input/intervention to solve this issue ASAP

Hello all, I believe that with the last update (version 2.7 ; b2g core version 1.9) when try to share posts to facebook, viber, signal, w.app the thumbnail it’s not displayed (the message displayed it is that there is no link preview). Please can you double check this kind of behaviour ?

Thanks for the URL. I just checked your website and found that an SEO plugin active on your website is adding ogg meta information for the different social media channels. I checked the info and it seems fine in the page source but I am not sure why it isn’t showing when post is actually shared. You should try deactivating any such plugin or any other open graph plugin for a while to see if it helps.

. seems that the behaviour coud be related to SEO plugin itself (because I deactivated and now that I try to reactivate I recieve an error : (Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WPSEO_Options’ not found in (....premium.php:70 Stack trace: #0 …class-wp-hook.php(292): WPSEO_Premium::install(’’) #1 ….class-wp-hook.php(316): ....plugin.php(484): ....plugins.php(193): do_action(‘activate_wordpr…’) #4 ….premium.php on line 70).) But this kind of behaviour happened only after set the theme to the latest version (maybe this is a coincidence).
Thanks for the details. I am not sure if this is caused by the core plugin update as we have not received any other uses’s complaint about the same. However I am reporting this as a bug to my development team, they will check for the same and will update the theme if required.

Hello, I found the issue. It seems it was a conflict between SSL certificate and CDN configs. I disabled CDN and changed DNS records in server side so the SSL can be still active and the issue with thumbnails it’s resolved. Maybe this small info could help anyone with similar issue in the future. Thank for checking the case also from your side.

I was only grepping the basic installation folders which didn’t have any of the plugins. Once I downloaded the btg-core folder, I was able to grep the line and found it in the includes.php file. Thanks for your prompt reply and assistance!

Updating to WP 5.6 appears to have broken the mobile menu link and also stopped testimonials from displaying (BTG version 2.6.4). Everything else seems fine.

Brilliant service and support – thank you! All now seems to be working well for WP v.5.6, except one small thing… sub menus of main navigation don’t seem to fully expand on mobile version? Clicking top-level link part reveals the sub menu options (if they exist), though doesn’t show all options, nor allow you to select them if the top-level item is active?
NB. This is testing via phone and tablet – works fine if you simply reduce browser window width on desktop.

Is there a way to set a determined size for a non-retina logo? Other than resizing the logo outside of WP and uploading new ones..
This is very common in other WP themes, if it is not currently in your theme options I recommend adding it in future updates!

Fields for retina logo width/height are available at Theme Options => Logo https://a.cl.ly/llu2L7rp These can be filled with your desired dimension for the retina logo normal/sticky
