Yes it is possible.,
Most of it depends on page content which compromises images. If images are properly optimized and you’re using a cache plugin and good fast host, the speed issue shouldn’t happen on any theme.

I tried to add gray background to this section, but after this the timeline elements background dissapear and if modified ”.dt-sc-timeline-section.type3.custom-style .dt-sc-timeline .dt-sc-timeline-content .vc_single_image-wrapper:before” z-index:0 then the image is not visible. I’ve purchased the Owly theme by ThemeForest but I’m struggling to change the default background color of the breadcrumb bar (not the whole container, but the bar containing the text).
