Hi, i have bougt this great theme and installed it with MAMP Pro, no i have following the installation prozess and build an Envato Api etc. but it looks like the api is not working, on the top right in wp admin is always the button “activate neuron builder” but it let not activate!? i can also not activate demo importer “To unlock the demo importer, please activate your license by clicking at the top right button.” but i have already set my api key!? Please let me jnow what i make wrong, Thanks!

Please make sure to give the token correct permissions, I would suggest you take a look at our video tutorial that we’ve explained how the license can be activated.

The permissions that the token should have:
- View and search Envato Sites
- Download the user’s purchased items
- List the purchases the user has made

HOLY SHYTE THIS THEME AND DEMOS ARE INSANE (and just as much on mobile view) The load time is even super fast WOW and with all these amazing dynamic bells and whistles KAON at the top of my list now to show upcoming clients! three questions, as I couldn´t figure out some details from your descriptions:
1) can I display other pages / posts directly in a pop-up?
2) what is exactly the relation / difference btw Elementor use + the ‘Neuron builder’? – does the latter only come into play when I build certain parts of the webpage (popups, headers, archive pages etc.)?
3) in times of Gutenberg, what does ‘non-optimized for Gutenberg’ practically mean? what can’t I do with respect to Gutenberg when using a Neuron-theme?

1) Sure, Popup Builder is created fully with Page Builder, anything can be inserted onto it. More information can be seen in the Video Tutorials on Youtube.
2) The core functionality is built on Neuron Builder, so Theme Builder + Popups + Elements and everything is created through Neuron Builder, you can call it a Core Plugin for the Kaon WordPress Theme. It is included for free in Kaon. Neuron Builder is the plugin that attaches to Elementor by making it more interactive and more powerful.

3) I guarantee that Gutenberg is fully compatible, the only thing that is different than our elements is not visible onto Gutenberg Editor but only in Elementor. So, every other element that belongs to Gutenberg is already compatible with Kaon.

...no, no more questions :) – but maybe as little detail + feedback: from PopUp tutorials I couldn´t really see how broad/flexible PopUp builder is (and infos like “all the elements available on the left panel can be used to create and design beautiful and engaging popups for your website” might not be useful for people not versed in Elementor… ;))
and as you say: the clarification on Neuron builder is very helpful, and I guess will also help others understand better!

I hope it´s ok to ask here, as I couldn´t find documentation on it: for ‘Animations and Motion Effects’ the Kaon page here says ‘Horizontal Scroll’. – I am trying to understand the scope of this. is this ‘just’ for slides? or what kind of horizontal scroll effects can I achieve with Kaon?

How do motion effects work?
Want to animate a whole section, column, or widget?
- Go to the Advanced tab, and then open the Motion Effects control. Want to animate a certain background image?
- Go to the Style tab, and under Background > Image, you will see the Scrolling and Mouse Effects.
Motion Effects include two sets of unique features: Scrolling Effects and Mouse Effects.
Scrolling Effects
Use Scrolling Effects to create amazing animations and interactions when the user scrolls through the page.
Mouse Effects
Create a sense of depth by making elements move in relation to the visitor’s mouse movement.
Once you switch the mouse tracks on, the element will react and move right, left, up, or down in accordance with the cursor. Set the direction as opposite or direct to the mouse move, and increase the level of the effect by raising the speed scale.
There’s an example of the Horizontal Scroll Effect in our website:

ok – I see – I was aware of the hands example. what I was wondering, I think, whether there is a way to let whole pages (or parts of it – sections etc.) move horizontally. ‘Horizontal Scroll’ somehow implies more than the horizontal motion of single elements while scrolling… or so I was hoping maybe.
I understand I can have horizontal sliders with Neuron/Elementor.
I guess my inquiry was: is there something else to ‘horizontal scrolling’ than horizontal motion of individual elements and/or horizontal sliders.
... sorry if my question was worded a little diffuse – as I am not english native, especially when it comes to more specific webtechnicalities.

Unfortunately for the moment there’s not a native element or feature in Kaon to do that, the only way to achieve it is via the Revolution Slider which is included for free in Kaon. If we see huge demand on that, we’ll add it for sure
Sometimes adding feature is not that hard, but we try to keep a balance between the loading time and the necessary options.

I am very sorry for the late reply. Somehow we missed this reply.
The horizontal scrolling is mostly explained as a feature from the motion effects since you’re able to move elements horizontally through different options, so that was our intention. Sorry if it was misleading, we’ll recheck it on the description.
